Delicious food for more than reasonable prices! The restaurant walls are super cute inside too. I had the Diablitos Rancheros - bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with jalapeno and cheese, rice, beans, and lettuce. Portion was generous for a great price, and the dish came out looking as advertised on the menu!

Not worried about the atmosphere, the food and service were great. Nice little find while traveling
Pros: great seafood plates, great Texmex food, great in house made salsas and home made tortillas. Their coffee was very good too.
Cons: Seems dirty (I saw a small roach crawl up one of the walls), the bathroom plumbing seems strange, and the service was a bit slow at checking up on you to see if you needed anything.
Overall, it's a great hole in the wall place to grab a bite to eat and have some great Texmex food.
I ordered the Mexican Plate and wasn't dissatisfied. I've included a pic of it for reference.
Anything with Shrimp is Delicious!
Food was great! Not only did food arrive at the table fast, but the portions were nice! Let's not forget the pricing, more than fair! The rice is fluffy and perfect... Made me feel like I was at my grandmother's table again.
You have to have the 'chicken fried' fajitas on Thursdays!
This is my first time there. I was in the mood for some enchiladas. Very good service. Everything was fresh. The beans were great. A nice pile of rice. Delicious. The enchiladas were what I was looking for. The only complaint I have was that the enchilada sauce was way too salty for me. I'll have to try their #29. It seemed like everyone was getting that. I look forward to going back.
Location is less than desirable, but the food makes up for it. I've never once been to this place when it wasn't hopping. Food is 5 stars...service is probably a 3--I've had to ask multiple times for drinks and walk to the main counter to view the specials. It's certainly a hole in the wall but a nice place to grab a cheap lunch when you work on the ship channel.
The chicken caldo was good. As I took a pic of the tacos my camera died😬 but they are outstanding! When you go, order at least 2 ground beef tacos with your order! You’ll love them. The lady there remembered my order and I haven’t gone in 2 years! That is the only place I order ground beef tacos!
Breaded Fajita Thursday's for lunch. If you have never had it, you must try it.
Best Mexican restaurant in Corpus Christi. The Diablitos Rancheros #50 on the menu is to DIE FOR !!! But virtually everything there is fantastic, and the prices are cheap and portions generous. I absolutely love this place !!!
Awesome breakfast tacos. My personal favorites are the Barbacoa, Potato and Gravy, and Beef Fajita, etc. They are all great. And where size matters, they do not disappoint! Very pleasant atmosphere to begin your day as well :)
