It may not look like much, you may not get the happiest drive-through server you've ever had, but for cheap, fast, and quality fried food you've come to the right place! The food here is awesome for those times you dont want to break out the big bucks at the fancier seafood joints on the island. The fried shrimp and fried okra are especially good. Be sure to ask for more of their house made cocktail sauce, it is very, very good. The portions are also very large so don't go crazy ordering or food will go to waste.
I always stop here on my way to Port-A. Take an extra couple min to look at all the historic pictures on the walls. Very clean establishment.

Best place to eat !!!! very very delicious and the biscuits are to-die-for , fried shrimp is delicious, chicken fried steak sandwiches are delicious, chicken strips are delicious coleslaw is delicious and good price's . favorite place to go to when at the Beach. I've never had a bad experience here
What a great chicken place. We discovered this place a few years ago when going to the beach. We always get the chicken tenders and they are juicy and delicious. Very friendly workers. Conveniently located near padre balli Beach area. Definitely would recommend for great chicken when you visit the beach.

Everything we ordered was spectacular and the service was great. Milkshakes are delicious and corn nuggets were really special and a family favorite. We will definitely stop by here when we come back to the area.
Kids loved the tenders. Adults had the fried chicken and I can say, we all enjoyed it. My order was perfect. Just want to say you have a great team. We were there for memorial day and you were busy.
Everything was fresh and hot. My seven year old passenger, said" it smells great". And everything was great!

I love fried chicken. Let me say this again, I really love fried chicken and Good N Crisp delivers the goods. The chicken is plump, juicy and has just the right amount of crispy crunch. Sides, well at least the fries and okra, are doled out in generous portions. They do have honey but they are limited in there hot sauce selections. I always bring my own honey and Texas Pete so no worries for me there. You should do the same oh chicken connoisseurs. Why the one-star hit? First off this is just a fast food joint so the inside of the business is neither posh nor poor. This location is located on the island. That being said a few Dune flies were in the restaurant the day we visited. You have to shock them up good and crisp. Finally we ordered wings and they were made to order. However they did have a slightly fishy taste. Gotta change up that oil good and crisp. Those things aside good and crisp is probably your best bet in the Corpus Christi area for a good fried Chicken experience.
Our first experience here was really good. We bought the chicken to picnic at the beach with and ordered fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and okra. It was all very good and tasty. Even reheated later in the day the chicken still had good flavor and was not greasy.
They’re always so quick in the drive thru, helps when you’re on a time limit for lunch and you just need something quick lol
