I got the 4 fish and 4 shrimp 🦐 plate. It comes with 3 huge potato wedges, a roll, and a lemon wedge, plus 1 tartar sauce. I was informed each fish fillet is 1 oz. in size, and is pollock. So I ordered an extra tartar sauce, and an extra roll. The whole meal was awesome. It was so good, in fact I ordered another meal to take home with me, after I ate this first one. Plus the shrimp 🦐 are huge. Stop here if you're craving some seafood. Just don't visit on a Sunday. They're closed on. SUNDAYS.
Decided to go to Banda’s for lunch. I called in my order 3 shrimp, fish and potato wedges for takeout. The lady was very polite and informative about the price going up, from $6.98 to $7.98. When I showed up, my order was ready, just needed to ask for ketchup. Great food, not greasy, was only missing one of the two tarter sauce that should have come with the order (which was great tasting, you could tell it was homemade). I will return and try a different plate.
Drove from San Antonio and the food & menu on the website looked great. We questioned our decision when we pulled up and saw the building and lack of parking. It was take out only and we were not too happy about that either but after sitting in the parking and seeing the constant flow of customers and how quickly they got food out, we decided to stay and eat in our car. Best decision ever! The fish is amazing. The fried fish was fresh, hot and not greasy at all. Got the 20 piece family platter with potato wedges. It was still hot and crispy 15 minutes later after we ate all we could. Definitely going to be back.
Bandas is and always has been my favorite for seafood..... It's fresh and the serving sizes are perfect..... And there tea is fabulous!!!!!!!
Sweet lady Divina, so please be sweet. Delicious seafood, shrimp is the bomb diggety, ask for hushpuppies well done.
The food was awesome!! Taters were cold. But flounder was out of this world. Place is not much to look at, but food is still good to this day! Note: all m orders are To Go. The tarter sauce is the bomb!

Fish and shrimp are the freshest and best you will find anywhere! Potato wedges and onion rings are fabulous. Tartar sauce and cocktail sauce is great! I live in Kansas but I plan to eat here several times before I leave and Lord willing when I come back I'll eat there again!
The food is delicious, the wait is a little long but the food makes it worth it, the place is hot but 🤷 ... Great food.
Idk what all these bad reviews are for! People are insane! This place is amazing and me and my husband have been going for years! The service is always excellent! The food is always so so fresh! And they have big portions. Yes it's on the pricey side but you are paying for quality and the amazing service! We will never stop going!
I had not been here in a long time. Carry out only even though pandemic is no longer an issue. The food is made up on ordering, frozen Pollock fish. The place needs serious but serious cleaning. The building was very HOT it had a small fan & didn't look like A/C was working or even on to make customer wait comfortable. I myself will not be returning. Sorry but had I gone alone I would have walked out...
Parking area is tiny, better off parking on the street next to the building. The inside is small and smells funny. But once you get past that the food is great
No-nonsense, dirty place with really good food. I ordered the fish po boy which was excellent. The menu on the wall makes for a nice (tourist) picture.
We were looking for great seafood and thats what we got!!! When u see it u think its looks sketchy but its not. Its a place u go for GREAT seafood not for the frills!

The food is really good here and they are usually fairly busy. Just go there in person. I always order to go because the restaurant is small and not that pleasant. I always order the fish and shrimp. They come with delicious potato wedges that are are hot and crispy. The mushrooms are really good too. Be sure to ask for cocktail sauce (for a minimal fee) if you like it because you won't get it otherwise.
This place is so delicious. I come for fried shrimp and wedge potatoes but the whole menu looks so tasty. Their spicy tarter is great too, don't forget to buy extra tarter, you wont regret it. You have to try this place.

The food was very fresh, hot,well prepared and fantastic service upon ordering. My cousin and I went to Banda's last week on Fri. 1st which is Lent Day and our order was only a 15 minute wait even though they were busy. I would definitely be coming back to this place and also it is only pickup due to COVID-19.
