- Great service with a smile - Pupusas are the best because you can try a variety (I like the combination one)

The restaurant was very full and for good reason, the food is authentic and very fresh. Tons of seating options inside. The pupusas were very flavourful and toasted perfectly. I ordered queso, shrimp, and chicken pupusas. My favourite was the queso.

We tried the pupusas and chile relleno. Both were delicious! If you want good service, go to cash register to ask for things like to-go boxes. (If you ask for stuff like that while seated, you won’t get it - at least I didn’t.)

My mom introduced me to this little whole on the wall Salvadoran restaurant. Popusas are great and the caldo de res is one of my fav dishes. The place is small , always packed, whole you wait for a seat you can place your order and pay for it so when a seat becomes available your food is already on its way.

In a world of tacos and burritos, herein lies the under-looked hero of Central American cuisine, the pupusa. The bean and cheese option always includes the added bonus of deliciously fried cheese from a cooking rupture, and the chicharrón is beautiful enough to order it sin queso. Yet the true magic lies within their curtido, the perfectly pickled cabbage slaw that provides the perfect balance of acidity and crunch.

Pupusas are delicious.. the location is tiny and it does get busy . Even with a phone order you still have to wait 15-30 mins . It kinda makes it uncomfortable because the place is tiny and it gets packed ..there’s no place where to sit and wait for your order . The parking also gets busy . But the food is delicious 😋

A hole-in-the wall with delicious, mouth-watering, home-made style food, see the accompanying image. One of those places where the dining area is almost barren because the food does ALL the talking and you still leave impressed. However, it is a clean location, and well-staffed. The pupusas were great, I would say the best I've had here in Orange County. (Best in the U.S. would be in L.A.) Dish in the photo is a Pollo Guisado and it's as great as it looks!

The number 1 spot in Costa Mesa so far when it comes to pupusas! Fresh all the time. I usually take my food to go and call in advance for my order. The venue is small I think 9X13. The Agua De Ensalada is amazing! I had forgotten what nances were. The cheese used on the pupusas is legit! 👌 delicious 😋

Delicious pupusas and tortas! Not at all greasy, like i have found with various other pupuserias. There’s vegetarian options, like pususas of cheese with loroco , or cheese with squash, or beans with cheese. For take out, I recommend ordering by phone, as orders tend to take 25-30 minutes to cook. Haven’t dined in yet, seems pretty busy though! I can see why!

Yesterday 10/16/21 was the first time going there...and let me tell you it's one of the best whole in the wall!!!. Finally, I have found a Salvadorean fast food restaurant that is worth driving to!. I am 38 miles away from the place, but it's so worth it. Food has flavor. the ambient it's busy, place it's somewhat small(that's why it's call whole in a wall😁). Employees are very respectful. Whoever says they are rude...well, If you respect people, they will respect you back. Oh!!! and the Bakery next door... Uuuuuuf, #1 Salvadorean sweet bread, such as peperechas are the best in town. I strongly recommend this restaurant! You will not be disappointed.

Small Salvadorian place with a popular croud. Be sure to order ahead if you are on a time crunch because their wait time between Noon and 2pm is of 30 minutes. First time trying out Salvadorian popusas so decided to give them a try and they were delicious. Big size as the palm of my hand and let's not forget the fresh Hibiscus water (agua de Jamaica) so fresh and sweet. I would definitely go back again, just this time will call ahead just in case.
