This was the first time we have ever visit. My boyfriends parents recommend it. Amanda, our server was sweet and amazing at her job!!! I was absolutely amazed with how she balanced all her tables. The food, omg the food! The onion ring appetizer was so good, I did not even get to take a picture. It comes with two dipping sauces, try the bbq mayo, yummy!!! The food was perfectly portioned and delicious!!! I cannot wait to go back!!! I will definitely requesting a talbe in Amanda's area also!!!!
Being one of the few, but higher end real restaurants in Cottleville, this place does not disappoint. My personal favorite is the Buffalo chicken dip which is always great. They also have some of the best rum and cokes around with a bartending staff that is second to none. The outdoor seating is also wonderful on kind weather days for you to sit and enjoy the experience with your family. The internal atmosphere is nothing to scoff at as well. I recommend it to anyone unfamiliar with the area whose looking to get a good meal.
Tonight was my second visit to this restaurant. Both times were pretty good, although as you can see from the picture this stuff is GREASY. We could definitely tone down the grease levels in here for sure. Grease aside, everything was very flavorful, great use of garlic and savory flavors. As you see in the photos I have the Cajun style shrimp and grits, a classic favorite that I always love. This place does it well! Flavors were comforting and had that good, down-to-earth comfort food feeling. This dish did not come with a side but I got the Brussels sprouts, which were a delightful addition. My companion and I also had Portabella mushrooms for an appetizer, which I did not get a picture of. They were very delicious, a very unique and different kind of appetizer you wouldn’t normally see around town. Topped it off with a pomegranate martini which was a lot more basic (flavor-wise) than I was expecting, and I definitely missed a garnish on it! Would’ve been really beautiful with perhaps a lemon twist. Anything, really.
Due to the greasy nature of the food I will have to give only four stars for now, however everything else was very good and I would not count out at third visit to this place.
Really nice place for lunch and dinner.
Varied menu...great Bread pudding for dessert . I had wings, they were excellent.. My wife had spinach salad and loved it.
Service was attentive and timely.
Give it a try!
This is a very family friendly restaurant. Great for parties or just to get lunch. Their prices are very affordable. I had the Baja burger which was fantastic and their french fries are some of the best I have ever had.
However the stuffed portobello mushrooms are NOT worth the $13 they charge for them. You only get 4 slices on a plate and mine were overcooked and hard as a rock.
Other than the mushrooms everything was excellent. I highly recommend this place.
This place never disappoints! The wife and I stopped by for a late lunch. She had the Shrimp and Grits and I had the Chicken Parm on Linguini. More than ample portions, very flavorful, and the service was impeccable. All in an upscale and relaxed environment.
Our visit couldn't have been any better. The service was outstanding when many places the server is overwhelmed Bemos does it right. Additional staff taking your plates away and keeping your water full. The food came out piping hot and cooked just right.
Been wanting to check this place out for awhile! Finally got the chance recently!! The service was friendly and the food was pretty darn good! I loved the atmosphere, it was very cozy and relaxing! The burger was good and cooked perfectly! The fries and homemade chips were also good. My boys both got the kids grilled chicken and gobbled it up! As far as the wings, between my husband and 2 sons, I never even got one, but they all say they were great! The buffalo dip was the only disappointment, the flavor was great, but it was $8.99 and there just wasn't much of it, there were way more chips than what were had dip for. The dish was shallow and not even full. It wasn't very "shareable", 3 of us ate it and no one got much. Aside from that, on Sunday's, kids eat free! We didn't know that going in so that was a nice surprise! All in all, it was a good meal and we would go back to try more things on the menu!
