A unique experience indeed. This was the first time for us at this unique restaurant and we went with no expectations but were we flabbergasted, totally... we ordered the Artichokes string beans and the pork chop along with a Sangaria pitcher and their blood orange Margherita (prolly October themed special) The table got a basket of dinner rolls with a baked full garlic bulb with a green sauce (you'll see it in the pics)... loved it, absolutely crazy on flavor, overwhelming yet we both loved getting our pallettes downed The artichokes were amazing too and the pork chop was out of the world (it comes with their scalloped potatoes (again exceptional) Now to the drinks... the Margherita wasn't the best you'll have elsewhere but nothing intolerant but the Sangria was good and tangy We finished our meal with a tiramisu and again liked it despite a very appetite fulfilling meal. A definite must try for foodies and we are adding Garlic Rose Bistro to our regular goto list of places.

This was my first time at Garlic Rose Bistro but definitely won't be my last!! Food was amazing and service was great. Owners make you feel welcomed. We drove over a hour to get there and was worth it. Try not to get full from the amazing garlic bread. The appetizers we ordered were scallops and garlic shrimp. For our entrées we had chicken and shrimp carbonara and their famous pork chop which was very flavorful and tender. Everything was great!!!

This is one of my favorite dinner spots when I'm craving pasta. They'll start you off with their amazing bread and roasted garlic with pesto for the table. Next I'd recommend the French onion soup. And you can't come for dinner without having their pasta. They have the best pasta dishes and in huge portions, which is nice for next day left overs. I'm only a bit disappointed because they replaced my favorite pasta dish when they updated their menu this year. I guess I'll have to find a new favorite.

Our group of "friends since elementary school" met for lunch at the Garlic Rose in our hometown of Cranford. When the owner found out the purpose of our gathering and that we all had been friends for 50+ years, he treated us like gold. Besides the VIP treatment, the food, wine and service were all outstanding. We tend to talk at lot at these reunions and the server was very patient, trying to take our orders in between all the chatting. My choice for lunch was the Caesar salad with grilled chicken and it was outstanding. Thank you Garlic Rose for providing the perfect setting for a gathering of childhood friends.

I dined here with my family a couple of weeks ago as we happened to be in the area. We wanted a restaurant close to the Cranford Theater, and we found the Garlic Rose across the street. My family and I are pleased to have stumbled across it. The entire dining experience was terrific, from the delicious fresh baked bread and garlic infused oil, a complimentary starter, to their delicious version of French Onion soup and the entrees and dessert. What really set them apart to us was the service. We felt like family the entire time we were there. Plus, we had an early movie screening at 6:00 PM, and they accommodated our hurried schedule impeccably. We look forward to coming back!
