WOW... great atmosphere, fabulous food, and great owners!
We found this place the second day we were in Creede and have eaten there almost every day.
So far, we've had the catfish {lightly breaded, tender, and good taste}; fried pies {choice of peach, apple, or cherry} made fresh when you order- in a very good flaky crust.; Breakfast Pasty {made with the same flaky crust as the fried pies} with egg, sausage (or bacon), potato, and cheese(if you want).
Just ran out of time to try everything on the menu. This is definately a place I'll be back to, on our next trip to Creede.
My wife and I shared an order of chicken strips along with mashed potatoes, cream gravy, cole slaw, and jalapeño poppers. My goodness the food here is excellent! The meal came out fast and piping hot. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We sat outside with our golden retriever puppy and soaked up the small town experience. They even provided a water bowl and a dog treat for our puppy. Be sure to try one of their fried pies!
Had a breakfast fried pie here this morning and it was by far the best breakfast sandwich / pie we have ever had. Excellent Texas Pecan coffee! Great people and atmosphere. Got to watch a pretty great soccer game to boot ! Def a place we will return to repeatedly. Nice addition to the Creede community!

Excellent food and service! The chicken tenders are huge. We received so much food for the price, and was able to take it with us for a extra meal on our trip. Definitely try the fried pies and sweet tea, they were outstanding!

What a delightful spot for lunch. The food was great and the owners were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcomed. And let’s not forget the homemade fried pie�. Best dessert of our trip. You will not be disappointed.
The food is delicious (I'm currently eating a breakfast sandwich)! The staff members are so friendly and welcome you right when you come in. They are open all day and have a great variety of food. If you're planning on coming to Creede, make sure and plan to stop in and try it for yourself!
We enjoyed lunch there today. Food was great and the staff are very personable. We will differently be back. Fried pies are not like the other fried pies I have had. I enjoyed every bite.

My husband and I really loved the chicken, it had just the right crispiness. I enjoyed the mashed potatoes and my husband tried the fried okra and baked beans, he said they were really good. We both agree the sweet tea is Texan approved. The service we recieved was excellent. Our drinks were refreshed often and when we found out one of the activities we had planned the next day would be closed Christy looked up and wrote down names and phone numbers to alternative activities with smile and warm southern hospitality. We came back the next morning for breakfast sandwiches that had thick toast and bacon and full of flavor. Best two meals in Creede, Colorado that we had!
Two words: fried pies. The dessert pies are yummy... The brand new breakfast pies are reminiscent of the moners' pasties that are popular in Michigan's U.P. SO good!!!
Y'all, this was such a great find! Small family owned restaurant. The food was outstanding! From the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out we were truly blessed by the owners Christy and James and precious Amelia. We indulged in chicken strips, fries (sweet baby Jesus, so good!), Chicken salad, and chicken wraps. Please do yourself a favor and go!! Kids finished the meal with chocolate ice cream! Oh and I can't forget... delicious and fresh sweet and unsweet tea! Thank y'all!
Let me first state the owners were extremely kind and helpful. After a long haul into Creede, we found the perfect spot to eat. We walked by several other establishments, but our party of 5 was very pleased that Miners was the top choice! The food is homemade: from the batter on the juicy, hot fried chicken tenders to the perfectly cut fries. Just when we thought we couldn’t get enough, well, we had to all share a couple of scrumptious fried pies! Yes, those are homemade as well. I heard the chef say those were his grandmother’s recipe. I would’ve taken a picture of them, but we couldn’t put down our forks! If you’re in Creede and crave high quality, delicious food, you will be more than satisfied eating at MINERS !
As the new owners of Miners Restaurant, we are definitely opening in May 2022.
Miners was simply closed for the winter season, but we are returning to provide you the same great food and service.

This was a great place for lunch and ice cream. We stopped for ice cream first. It was very tasty and refreshing as we walked around town. We went back for lunch and had another great experience. We ordered a burger and chicken tenders. The burger was big and grilled perfectly with all the toppings. The chicken tenders are a bit miss labeled. I ordered 2 expecting to still be hungry afterwards. But as I said, they aren't really tenders, they are much larger (maybe slabs). The chicken though was perfectly hand breaded and fried. Crispy and juicy, but not too greasy. I could barely finish both tenders because they were so big, but I kept going because they were so good. I highly recommend a stop here.
You owe it to yourself to eat here. Really good food. Fish, hamburgers, chicken, catfish, buffalo chicken sandwich. Lots to choose from. Yum
Great burgers. Staff was osum let use sit were ever we wanted. Not like Kips grill. If you go to Creede you have to get the green Chile burger I'm glad I'm not 15 it was so good it would have been a 4 bitter. With repeated orders till full. Thanks
We had the hamburger and chicken wings. Everything was excellent. They also serve ice cream at the entrance. The owner was our server and the service was great! They have 6 tables and a bar so get there early.
This place is amazing! We took our family here and we all loved it! Great burgers and the best Buffalo chicken sandwich! Loved the southern hospitality of our server!
