I am taking my wife to this restaurant tomorrow night for her birthday. We have been there several times and never disappointed each and every time. Fabulous everything! She particularly liked the roasted duck. Where can you find duck in Crossville anywhere else?? and their pizzas are to die for. There is a wait for your entre but everything they cook is prepared from scratch on site. So, sit back and enjoy the wine that you brought (no bar) and the food will appear in no time. If you are looking for fast food, this is NOT the place.
Excellent food from beginning to end. We were up in the area from Asheville, NC ,which is itself an area known for great food. I was wondering if good food was to be found in Crossville, Tenn.
I found many good places but none to compare with the Stagecoach Italian cafe.
Everything was exquisitely prepared by the chef and his wife, a culinary expert from Europe..I had the Puttanesca pasta, asked for extra spicy , and it was done to perfection with capers galore and a wonderful sauce. My husband ordered the rack of lamb and said it was among the most succulent & flavorful that he had ever experienced with fabulous spiced rosemary potatoes and a wonderful asparagus in some sort of Bernaise flavored sauce that was delicious and a baked tomato that was perfect-- and the mint sauce for the lamb was homemade there from the fresh mint in the garden. We then had wonderful almond cake desserts and purchased Russian Tea Cookies in a bag as we were leaving.
Asheville,NC may have great places to eat but NONE can compare to this jewel out in the middle of Crossville, Tenn.. the only reason it is here is because it was the chef's original birthplace though he lived in Italy for many years .. that is where he met his European wife.
This is a top notch fantastic place to eat. debra r simons, asheville,nc
A Great Place to Dine!. Aaron Neely is a first rate chef and his wife, Maren, makes the most delicious chocolate I have ever tasted!
It is a charming place, and when it is cool enough to sit outside - a real pleasure. The menu has something to please everyone. They use very fresh ingredients, including their own produce from their garden. We had them cater a party of 24 people and they did a beautiful job.
We also love the pizza, roast duck, burgers, salads etc. Reasonable prices to boot!
This is the very best restaurant in Crossville to be sure! BYOB.
Nice little place quiet atmoshpere not a place for kids no highchairs ect. But food was really good.
Food is delicious and flavorful and excellent desserts! I found this place accidentally one recent summer evening while driving through the area, and the owners, Aaron and Maren were such gracious hosts.
Delicious homemade food! We ordered 2 pizzas, tiramisu, and key lime pie. I can't wait to go back. Friendly service and a great atmosphere. Thank you!
Had the opportunity to eat here for the first time today. It was a real treat. Outdoor dining in a beautiful location. I had the Greek salad. It was great. Fast service. Staff was wonderfully accommodating. Silky smooth sweet tea. My friend had her dog along with us to the Apple Festival nearby. We outdoor dining because of that. We also preferred outdoor dining because of covid. Indoors is lovely also. Charming decoration and atmosphere. I overheard a gentleman say he'd never had a bad meal there in eight years of dining there! Will definitely be back. Very European in that it is relaxed and take your time!
Amazing food and affordable prices. Key lime pie was the BEST I had ever tasted and I LOVE key lime pie. They sold 2 whole key lime pies while we were there!! The other deserts and entree's looked amazing as well. Pizzas are excellent. As was the chicken curry soup. The appetizers sure didn't disappoint.
Very Cozy! Real Napkins. Food was pretty and flavorful you can watch your meal being prepared from most view points in the dining area. Chef was very careful to QC check his food before it left the kitchen. Note this is not a fast food joint so make time for that . Also a server had a "want to be anywhere else" attitude thus the four star and not the five. But honestly Good place for pasta and such!
We are staying at Cumberland Mountain State Park in our motorhome and decided to give this place a try after passing it many times. We were greeted and seated promptly although we did not have a reservation. While not required they are suggested in the summertime as the place is small so seating is limited. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce and hubby had penne with Italian sausage, mushrooms and cream sauce. Both were served with a crisp summer salad with the house vinaigrette. We each had a glass of the house wine with our meals. The food was excellent, served promptly and our server, Bailey, was super friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely eat here again.
Excellent food. We arrived at 11:30am on a sunday.. already had a few couples there. Shortly after ordering our drinks the restaurant filled up. My wife ordered spaghetti al pomodoro crudo... and bruschetta..wow..scratch made and was delicious. I ordered the scaloppini al limone..was everything I desired. Excellent staff..delectable cuisine.we traveled an hour to visit this place.UPDATE.....Fig Tart..we took to go... incredible...
