This was a very sweet small vineyard. We had to stop at the big "Pinot Noir" sign after biking past during other vineyard tours. It’s a smaller place but the open outdoor setting was nice. It’s not exactly 100% shaded; they use those shade sails that let the light filter through a little bit. This was lovely and much better suited to the setting that if they had several big umbrellas that would block the view of the vineyards. They were very attentive to us and asked if we wanted pretzels and water. The wine was very good, and, although it was sweet of our host to bring out pretzels and waters, she brought out individual bottles of water. And I just prefer to reduce my plastic consumption, so it would’ve been nice if we had glasses with a pitcher of water instead. Although I know that would be extra dishes for her to wash. I know this is a small complaint, but perhaps something to consider for the future. Oh, and the person delivering our wine to the table was good enough to take our group photo and had a great sense of humor. Some people are grumpy about taking photos or rushed, but they were lovely about it and made us all smile and laugh. We only bike the North Fork with these close friends every other year, so the photos are special. The staff/experience/setting holds equal importance to us on these special trips as the wine itself.

Go here. I can't recommend this strongly or loudly enough, but everyone should go here. This is a beautiful location, inside and out. The terracotta floors, the tasting room and event room hand made and designed by the owner and staff. The art from local, award winning artists and up and comers alike hanging from the walls. The outside pavilion with a gorgeous view of the vines themselves. We intended to spend the morning here and instead stayed from open to close. The staff and owner were so warm and welcoming, we just didn't want to leave! The owner, Giovanni, has lived such an interesting and exciting life, and if you get the chance to go on the tour and listen to the story, I highly recommend it. You can really tell the people who work here are passionate about their jobs and want nothing more than to continue cultivating the wonderful community of wine lovers they've developed. Even if the wine wasn't great, this place would still be worth a visit. Luckily, the wine is amazing. The Cab Franc is to die for, their Allegro dessert wine is stunning, and I could drink their rose blend all day long. So, I reiterate: go here. You won't regret it.

Absolutely LOVELY spot. A beautiful and cozy vineyard with a wonderful manager that will come over and explain all the wines and notes to you and your guests and give you a real tasting experience. We went on a rainy day, so the big cozy barn with art was PERFECT. so if you’re going on a cold day/not perfect weather… it’s the perfect spot. All the wines we tasted were DELICIOUS and we bought a few bottles. Thank you Evie for a great experience!! The dog that roams around is sweet, kind, doesn’t bark and lets you pet him but doesn’t follow you around. You’re welcome to bring your own snacks since they don’t serve. It was a perfect experience.

After several area tasting room visits, THIS was the one we loved most. The wine quality reminded us of Napa/Sonoma wines. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. They included little details like pretzels and water, which are important to cleanse the palette when enjoying a flight. In the area, several vineyards offer great outdoor seating, breathtaking views, and impressively built facilities. Exactly one made us say “wow”, and this was it. Cheers, and enjoy!

Pre covid review: Bottom line: heavily awarded apparently. Wine is pretty good. Gluten line: wine is gluten free, crackers are not. Long line: took a while to get service. Could it be cause we were dressed in workout attire as we biked here, or because it was semi packed? I'm hoping the latter. Once we got service things went smooth. We tried their suggested sampling and found all of the wines to be well made. Nothing crazy outstanding for our palate, but enjoyable. Wouldn't really run back.

Celebrated my 30th birthday here with a group of 20+. Evie and the Castello di Borghese family went out of their way to make my party feel welcome and we all had an amazing time! They made me personalized menus and even bought out the dog to play. Out of all the wineries we went to that day in the North Fork, they were the most attentive and took their time to explain their company and wines. I wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you.

Last week we had a private tour with Gio, 2nd generation owner. It was the most informative of any tour I’ve been on. Believe me, I’ve been on many tours in California and Italy. Evie came to speak with us in the tasting room and gave us more info. We brought our own cheese and crackers for the tasting. They customized my tasting since I have allergies to red Tanins. It was a highlight of our vacation (7 women from NJ agreed!). Praying hurricane Henri doesn’t hit them. They are a month away or sooner for harvest of the Pinot noir grapes. Well done team!

Came here one afternoon for a flight of wine and to buy some bottles. Their classic flight has two whites a rose and two reds. While overpriced at $30, it comes with pretzels that you don't have to purchase. I loved the Sauvignon Blanc and the Rose for the Bays! In the end bought bottles of those two and a couple of the Merlot Cab Sauvignons. The servers name is Mary and she make you feel quite welcomed and can explain the wines in detail. I would love to come back during the summer when music will be playing.

Got extremely lucky to meet the owner who's the son of the 2nd family to own this vineyard. He's got an incredible story and is passionate about keeping the tradition and heritage alive. This place has incredible wine and deserves a visit by everyone.

We had our wedding celebration here in September. From the day we first met Evie we knew this was the pIace for us. Even though we looked at other places, we kept coming back to Borghese Vineyard. Between Evie and Tom, they were both so accommodating and helpful to meet our needs. They did everything to make sure things went smoothly and stress-free. The venue has a wonderful, charming, and rustic feel. Walking around the vineyard presents lots of photo opportunities. A bonus if you ever come to enjoy their great wines is you can bring your own food! We can't say enough good things about Borghese vineyard and staff!

Absolutely LOVED visiting this Vineyard. Highly recommend!! The people at the Vineyard are the nicest ever!! We took a tour with the owner, Giovanni Borghese. He should write a book about his life- that's how amazing his story is. We learned a lot about the process and the grapes are all beautiful and almost ready for picking! 2022 looks to be a great year for wine.

I have been a member of their wine club for probably 10 years. I love this vineyard, because of the quality of the wine and superior customer service. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It is my first to when I visit the North Fork.

Straightforward vineyard serving some of the best wines on the Island. Welcoming and informed staff make suggestions and strike up conversations during your visit. The owner offers a tour throughout the week. One of the best places for those who want to try varying styles with excellent quality throughout the menu.

We had a great time despite any pandemic related precautions. Our hostess was a blast. The wine flights were not disappointing although it would have been nice to have glasses versus plastic shots. The rose and chocolates were a nice Valentines Day touch.
