The seasonal menu offered at the President George W. Bush library is wonderful! My friend ordered the Butternut squash soup as a starter, and the Avocado toast with eggs and greens with fresh fruit. Both dishes were visually appealing and flavorful. I preferred the corn soup which was spicy and delicious and the corned beef sandwich, which was very similar to a Reuben. The only difference is that it is served with Russian dressing vs. Thousand Island dressing. ( I prefer Thousand Island as Russian gives the Sandwich an extra level of sweetness.) The sandwich is served with marbled rye which again makes it special. The accompanying French fries were fresh and hot. I do wish that the cheese had been melted to better integrate the sandwich’s flavor. Manny, our server, offer quick, attentive service. I plan to visit again in Spring to see what new offerings they have!
Highly Recommend for guests that wish to visit the George W. Bush Presidental Museum and Library. Casual dining atmosphere with Chef quality dining experience. Exemplary waitstaff. Food allergies and sensitivity handled with seamless panache. Attractively plated, locally-sourced, organic dishes. Excellent ending to my guests museum experience.
The food was excellent as well as the service (thanks Raphael!). Lunch in a relaxed, bright restaurant adjoining the Bush Presidential Center. Everything served seemed to be excellent - and save room for the desserts!
Beautiful restaurant and service was excellent. Everything was delicious. We went as a group of four and everyone raved about their meals.
Very relaxed atmosphere, great selection of lighter menu choices. I can highly recommend both the seared salmon salad and the lump crab meat salad. Good service without being rushed. Good lunch break while visiting the George W Bush museum.
Love this restaurant! It is in the Bush Museum. You can eat here without going into the museum. The menu is small, but varied. Prices are moderate. It has terrace seating available when the weather is good. The Cowboy Cookies are a must-try! Note - the parking lot dedicated to the museum and restaurant charges for parking, and the restaurant doesn’t validate. My last visit there, the parking was $10.
Great food! The staff was wonderfully accommodating of our 18 y/o's birthday!
Turkey panini and cowboy cookies with ice cream. Panini was pretty good but I’ll try something else next time. Cookies and ice cream were delicious. Service was spectacular! Never had an empty water glass. $13 for panini and $7 for dessert.
Classy lunch place at the GW Bush Presidential Library. Clean, well priced, outstanding service and good food.
Great place to visit. The service was very professional. I had the burger and Mrs. Bush's cookies. The food came out hot and good. I will be visiting again.
Awesome! It starts with the building. The restaurant is part of the George W. Bush Presidential Library. On entering, the ceilings are high and the views of SMU are great from the floor to ceiling windows. Oh yeah, and they served food. Best corned beef reuben i habe ever had. Fruit was delicious. Fresh blueberries!
Nice way to end our visit to the GWB Presidential Library. This is probably more about the experience than the food but we enjoyed a good meal with friendly service in close proximity to the library.
Nice place to visit with a friend and have lunch. Corn soup was very good. The chicken salad had a lot of cranberries and pecans which was good, but it was a bit drier than I expected. The banana pecan ice cream didn't taste much like banana, but it was cool and creamy.
We had lunch here while visiting the Bush Library. The service and food were both excellent! The pricing for the food quality and service was better than expected. I highly recommend Cafe 43 and we will be back!!
I enjoyed a grilled burger while my wife had a salad she loved. The service was excellent!
If you visit the George W Bush Presidential Library you won't be disappointed if you choose to eat here.
Great place for brunch! Had the French toast and avocado toast.
An excellent restaurant!! The service is awesome!!
The service at cafe 43 was delightful but the real star was the kids grilled cheese. The crunchy buttery Texas toast took a kids classic to a whole new level. It was the most family friendly fine dining experience I’ve had in Dallas!
Top level service. I had the turkey panini. Wife had the omelet. Sweet potato fries delicious.
