They have awesome wait staff. They get you in even if it's a 30 minute wait, its fast.. They took my pasta dish off the menu, that's my only issue. I love brunch the best.
We arrived and wanted a specific booth, and it was no issue. Robert was our Server, and was very attentive to our needs. The Moscato wine was a good choice and the baby back ribs was delicious. Of course we had room for dessert and ordered the glazed butter cake with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and strawberries. The atmosphere is always delightful. I enjoy dining at Grand Lux and I take my out-of-town guests there every time. I’ve never been disappointed. 💃🏻
Spanish chicken and pot roast cheese fries appetizers hmmm that was meal I couldn't eat it all.
Wonderful place to dine. Great food, great service, gorgeous restaurant and lounge.
Absolutely amazing service!! We didnt even know we could request doll seats for our kids' American Girl dolls but the guy who seated us saw them and brought us the chairs!! The restaurant is a beautiful place to eat and was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Dallas.
It takes a truly skilled person to 'wait' on this mob. . .! And we had the best!
My partner, I and a friend were all staying at The Westin Galleria Dallas and this restaurant was really close to the hotel and it looked very nice from outside so we decided to have lunch one day. The food was really good and the service was great. And not to mention the atmosphere. It’s just amazing. I had Lunch special chicken Piccata and it was really good. The potion was good and everything was made from scratch.
I liked the food so much and had such an amazing experience that I went there again after two days and had Lunch special crispy caramel chicken. It was good but too sweet for me. It wasn’t spicy as described in the menu.
The only complaint I have is that their menu isn’t up to date online or on the food ordering apps. There were few other things on the menu online which I wanted to try but didn’t see them on the menu at the restaurant. It would be really nice if it was updated.
Overall it was a great experience and I would love to visit again when I am in Dallas.
This Beautiful Restaurant is Worth Visiting while in Dallas Texas. The Service and Food is Great, employees are Friendly. The Restaurant is Handicapped accessible. Customers can choose to Pay for their Meals with Cash,Credit Cards,Debit Cards or Apple Pay ! The parking lot 🅿️ is free but limited to Other Businesses on site. The Food is Served on Time. The Food is Hot Cooked to Perfection. The Drinks are Served Cold ! The Employees are Family Friendly and Professional. The Restrooms are Clean.
I wasn’t expecting this quite frankly. On my way through Dallas and wanted a bite near the Galleria. I was attracted to their diverse menu and ordered the Chicken, Mushroom, Sausage Pasta with brown butter sauce. It was rich, hearty and perfect on a chilly evening. The portion was huge. And when the person next to me let me know it was created by the Cheesecake Factory guys, it all made sense. High quality, high flavor, tons of food… same formula in a different setting.
We received great service, we were greeted upon entering. The cashier gave a good recommendation on a soup to try. We received our food fairly quickly. My family and were able to find a comfortable booth to sit in and enjoy Sunday lunch together. The restaurant level was nice, so we could hear each other as we held family conversation.
Lot of great appetizer and mains options to choose from. Got the buffalo chicken rolls with blue cheese dip, very well seasoned and crispy. A lot of different steak mains on the menu too.
We (me and a friend) came here just 30 minutes before or close and still received some exceptionally great service and a warm welcome. We came on what was actually my friend's birthday to celebrate the occasion, so it was by his choice then put off to the very last minute by me (sorry!), nevertheless, we made it just in time with orders preplanned and attempted to make it as painless as possible for our server Keasha (sp?). She was great! She even overheard me mention my friend's birthday and pleasantly surprised us with the edible birthday card they offer right along with the deliciously decedent Godiva chocolate cheesecake we ordered for dessert. Both of which were amazing 🤩. We ate quickly but enjoyed every minute of the gorgeous, relaxed , upscale atmosphere, the pleasant staff and the rarely afforded indulgence of such a fine dining experience as this. Naturally, of course, we also reflexively ordered a dozen cookies to-go. Try one and you'll understand. Thanks for the memory!
OMG! So good. Pancakes are legit. Miso salmon and pork chop were excellent too. The waitress - Carla - had excellent customer service skills and super sweet.
The beef Willington was great but super salty, but everything else was amazing. I'm traveling for work, and it was a great atmosphere. The appetizers were amazing. Especially the Buffalo chicken rolls I highly recommend
It's an all-around wonderful place. The cealings are very high, which gives you a sense of being small, like in a big church. The decor is very pretty and elegant. On the one hamd, it's hard to believe this is a chain. On the other hand, perhaps the good experience is owed to their standards because they are a chain. Anyways, it's a step up from most chains you eat at, in terms of decor for sure, and also in terms of the food. I had the Miso Glazed Samon, which I saw recommended online, and was not disappointed. It was healthy AND delicious. My friend had the beef wellington. He was originally disappointed that it was served "deconstructed" or that they made it the easy way. The puff oastry was not surrounding the beef. Instead, they made little balls of puff pastry, which is a little bit like cheating, but my friend was happy with the taste, and who can really be upset when biting into a fillet mignon? The ambiance was perfect, the music was not too loud, our server was super kind and friendly, and we left her a good tip.
First time visiting this restaurant and I was surprised how good it actually was as I don’t particularly care for Cheesecakes Factory and they own Grand Lux Cafe. Food was well priced and taste great. I had the Chicken and Shrimp Jambalaya and my wife had Crispy Thai Chicken and was fairly happy with both. Very convenient option if your staying at the Westin
Our first time here and it was a great experience. Our waiter was awesome. The food and dessert was good. They also went out of their way to make us feel special for our 19th yr anniversary
Took my mother to Grand Lux for her 79th Birthday. The food was amazing! The atmosphere is excellent! I had the Bourbon Street Chicken, it tastes as good as it looks! The Apple pie for dessert tastes the way you imagined, looking at the picture!
I had the cinnamon caramel bannana pancakes.... and 2 shots of Patron! Environment was great .. server was beautiful.. coming back definitely.. for the pancakes and service!
We tried it for the first time and had a great experience! Chad was our server, you should definitely ask for him, he was great! The atmosphere is very nice. We enjoyed our meals. We tried the cauliflower appetizer and it was amazing! I got the shrimp salad and really enjoyed it. We will definitely come back when we are back in this part of the metroplex.
As always my dining experiences at Grand Lux Cafe are heavenly. Great service, great menu, great variety of delectable desserts and a luxurious atmosphere.
