Been frequenting Mike's for over 15yrs. In my experience he has some of the best BBQ in Dallas and the sides are bomb. That cheese corn bake is awesome and the fried okra and potato salad are always on point. Mike Anderson is the guy cutting your BBQ and is always friendly and makes you feel like he knows ya. Love this place!
Damn this place is good! I do not like a lot of bbq restaurants as they are just overrated liquid smoke, but damn, Mike Anderson's spudzilla, brisket sandwich, 3 meat plate, oh & the cheesy bake was AMAZING! Can't wait to go back with the family and try more stuff!

Excellent food I am there so often they should call me family. The bake potatoes are the greatest. but I also have the beef sandwich plate sometimes with bake beans. Just try it once and you will be hooked also.
We drive in from Garland, because I can't get enough Mike Anderson's :) THIS is where I bring the out of towners, because "It's the best BBQ in Dallas." The atmosphere is FAB and the food is the best - and the entire staff ROCKS :) I can't say enough good things about this place :) and only wish they weren't so far from my house!
Everything we had was great. Went back the next day and had the monster baked with brisket and added beans - the best!!!!

Best BBQ around. Good hot links and sauce. Brisket has great smoky taste and always juicy. Highly recommend.

When you go to a BBQ restaurant and not only is the meat perfectly good.... EVERY side dish taste fantastic as well.), You've finally reached heaven! Mike Anderson's is the place where you've reach heaven & that's why I dine here every chance I get. Mr. Mike Anderson makes all of his customers feel right at home & he's hands on. I respect him as a business owner... He's the man!! I'll give him 10 stars if I could.
Best brisket and smoked sausage BBQ I have had in Dallas in a long time. Right now this would be my new preferred place to go for BBQ. Plus mike's BBQ sauce he makes in house is amazing not to smokey or sweet.

Super busy during lunch so get there early!! Lots of all your favorite bbq options with plenty of fixings. Some of the best sweet tea I have had in a long time.
I actually met Mike Anderson the owner!!! Such an humble and kind gentleman. It was my first (and for sure not last time) time at his restaurant after coming from a high intensity doctor office visit. He's staff, the food, and atmosphere made my intensity level decrease. I started thinking about the great things in life and enjoying this life I have Journey.

Loved the service and atmosphere, being a patriot myself. The only thing the Brisket was a bit fatty for my taste. Maybe an off day or bad piece but was full of fat... Jalapeno sausage great, pulled pork good. The sides were fantastic, cheesey corn and Okra.
Exactly what I expected. And love. Tell ‘em the meat you want and then pick your own sides by serving yourself.
Mike’s place has real BBQ. Nothing fake here. From the moment you come in you know this place is for real people to get good food.
This is the place to wear your Wranglers and boots. Not many man buns seen in the place. Certainly not many socialists seen here either unless they are keeping their political views silent so they can get a great meal.
We had brisket and pulled pork. Sides were fried okra, green beans w potatoes slices, creamy cheesy mashed potatoes, baked beans, potatoes salad, and banana pudding. Owner Mike was slicing the meat for our meal.
Our total was $45 for two but we had extra sides and drinks.

Friendly staff, juicy brisket! I've never tasted okra that delicious in my life! And the BBQ beans were top notch. I drive all over DFW for work so eating out is common. If I'm going to pay good money for food, I expect it to be really good food. And this place makes some of the best barbecue around! I'll be coming back for that juicy goodness!
The best BBQ imo hands down. We have been coming here for years and have not disappointed. The jalapeño bbq sauce and the cherry-pineapple cobbler are the best. I strongly recommend MABBQ.
Mike Anderson's does not disappoint, from the portion size, to the customer service, to the finger licking flavor. Prices are on point as you'd expect from an average place, however food is far beyond anything average. We ordered to go for the shop, and they packaged every order with individual names and plates. All my coworkers said everything tastes better than pecan lodge. If you're in dallas, swing by and pick up a plate, you won't regret it.
First time using Mike Anderson’s catering for my wife’s birthday party and it’s was on point!! Food was a hit with the crowd and our server Brett was Great. Will use them again!
Mike Anderson's the barbecue is awesome taste great every last bite. You know a place is good when they open up and a few hours later they're closing down because they're out of food. One of the best things is you can order to go online and come and pick it up and they're ready to serve you. Mike the owner is always there greeting and talkin with customers. It is a very friendly place to eat. The beef brisket is always tender and juicy, it is my wife's favorite thing on the menu.
Highly recommend Mike Anderson’s BBQ. Best to date. ordered through grubhub ahead of time order came on time. This barbecue place rocks. Ordered various items all outstanding and the family pack portions are huge. Ribs, sausage, hot links, bbq beans, peach cobbler, cucumber salad, chicken and all other items amazing and great taste. We have used Mike's BBQ before for small catering within our construction office here. But we brought a 600 person Top Out Ceremony to Mike and he pulled this off flawlessly. Andy who is his catering genius and his team did a phenomenal job. Honeslty without them I don't know if this would have gone off as smooth as it did. Their service was on time and the quality of the food matched it. I'm so glad we decided to use Mike's for our Top Out event. Thank you to Mike and the entire team! That was a lot of hungry people to feed!
The vegetables are excellent the brisket is dry and the ribs are dry I Won't Go Back Big Al's is way better and cheaper
