Great food and very generous portions.
The burgers and nachos were delicious
The server was super friendly and welcoming, she was having a baby soon so I hope everything went well for her.
I recently dined at the Press Box Grill and had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, the lively atmosphere of the bar set the perfect tone for a great evening.
For starters, I ordered the Chicken and Andouille Sausage soup, which was a flavorful combination of tender chicken, spicy sausage, rice, okra, onions, green peppers, celery, and garlic. The medley of ingredients created a harmonious blend of flavors that left me wanting more.
As my main course, I opted for the Blackened Salmon fillet served with rice and the grilled veggie medley. The salmon was cooked to perfection, with a mouthwatering blackened crust that added a delightful hint of smokiness. The accompanying rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked, and the grilled veggie medley was a colorful and delicious addition to the dish; however, the Haddock Filet and Fries was a little disappointing. The texture of the fish was overcooked and it was a tad greasy. I would not recommend. The fries were good considering.
I can't say enough about the delicious food I enjoyed at the Press Box Grill. Each bite was a burst of incredible flavors that left me thoroughly satisfied. Coupled with the lively atmosphere of the bar, it made for a truly memorable dining experience. I highly recommend visiting the Press Box Grill for a fantastic meal and a great time.
Pros: Located in a cool spot. It’s bustling and you feel like you’re entering. Listen to the spooky story about the elevator doors. It scared me so badly. The pub is in a great location.
Con’s: I wasn’t greeted with a warm welcome. It felt more like a nuisance than a welcome. I didn’t have the chance to place an order and I believe my waitress became upset. I was on a tour so we didn’t have time to order anything outside of drinks.
Overall: I was on an awesome tour with Taylor and I’m happy to learn about the history. The waitress leaves something to be desired though.
Came here trying to find dinner after 9pm, and being unsuccessful in other blocks. My wife got the wings, and I got the fish and chips. She said her wings were salty, and only six came in the order. My fish a d chips were a hearty portion, but the fish could've been seasoned better. Drinks were great though. And they had very reasonable prices. It's a great place to watch a game, but better food could be found around in the area.
Me and my girl friend visited this place for a quick lunch. The food was great & freshly made , we were impressed. I have no complaints with the food , but the service could’ve been better.
Great corner restaurant with indoor outdoor seating options. Plenty of TVs for game watching with lots of local brews on tap.
The service is friendly and the food was good. Would definitely visit again.
Great pub! The swrvice from the young women working the bar was amazing, very prompt. Food was top notch and came fast. Would highly recommend!
Sports bar in downtown Dallas with multiple screens to watch important games on. The fried pickles are awesome! Give the Southwestern Egg-rolls a try. They’re really good! Make sure you pay attention to the parking meters (if you’re driving). Maybe a 5-8 minute walk from Akard DART station, and some buses pass right by this place.
This is my favorite bar. Service is amazing, security is amazing. I’ve been coming here for years!
Recommend it to all my friend that’s coming into Dallas, they love it as well. Literally everyone will welcome you in with open arms! The food is great, the service is great, game days (for all sports) are amazing! I love it.
I went in and sat down in the bar area and the lady bartender was rude to me, so I got up and moved inside the restaurant. and it just happens that the owner was right there . I started talking to him and told him that I didn’t want to be served by her, and he got me some amazing people to take care of me, so therefore my service was amazing. The food was super delicious. I had chips w queso think it was supreme it had some chili or good stuff in it. It was absolutely delicious. I ate every little bit of it. I also had a Philly cheesesteak which was super delicious and to top it off the Key line pie. I will return thanks to customer service.
Overall, considering the outside and inside appearance, it exceeded my expectations. The Texas Ribeye Steak was juicy and tender. The sides were good, although I wouldn't say the mozzarella sticks were the most amazing ones I've ever had. The sweet potato fries were above average.
I got the southwest chicken melt. I advocate for this bar. Food is great, beers are cold. Couldn’t ask for more.

The Press Box Grill is a perfect inexpensive choice for lunch and dinner. It was so good I brought my wife and friend. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmesan, with sweet potatoes fries My friend ordered Potato Skins and Back and Blue Salad with stake. Both of the said their meals were delicious and satisfying. I ordered the Blackened Salmon two day in a row it was that good. There were a few shortcomings the stake was over good. My portions were a little light. The bathroom needs an overhaul. The good part was my server Jessy and the price is right.
Got the brisket sliders and they did not disappoint! My husband got the chicken melt and I got the chicken fried steak. Both had great flavor. Staff was fast and polite.
Atmosphere and food was great! 1 of the best turkey burgers had this far. The quesadillas and curly fries were also delicious! If you’re in downtown Dallas you should try
Really good hot food for a sports bar, have visited three times in the last two years and each time hits the spot.
It seems busy at times, once our party of two was only just able to squeeze in for a table, while another time they had tons of room for our party of 6. Service was quick and food was fresh each time regardless.
Fries are amazing. Ranch is fantastic. Chicken tenders were decent but I have had worse. Overall, recommend.
Nice atmosphere. Was in downtown Dallas looking for some good food and drinks. Had the Southwest egg rolls. So delicious. Had buffalo chicken sandwich. Delicious. Bartender fixed a great drink called Blue Ariel. So great.
