Consistently the same. The service is always decent and the food always the same.
For desserts highly recommend the quatros leches and on a cold winter day the warm chocolate pudding.
Breakfast is also fairly decent.
We love going to La Duni for brunch! The atmosphere is lively and it's family friendly. The coffee is delicious and they have an amazing selection- cafe au laits, mochas, cortados, cappuccinos and more. They also have a wide variety of mimosas with lots of fresh fruit purées to choose from- I ordered a Passion Fruit mimosa and loved it! The Sangria is also delish. 👌🍷
For food, I ordered the carnitas with potatoes and black beans, which was absolutely delicious and the fried egg rounded out the brunch dish. We will definitely be back! Yum!
I've been coming here since our babies were still babies and the service has always been consistently 'leisurely' aka slow. But pastries & cakes are so good, what can you do?
Delicious!. I have been a couple of times to the Oak Lawn location. Very cute little place. It can get noisy when the restaurant is busy. The chicken salad is amazing! So are the sandwiches. I have only been for lunch, so I have not had any of the entrees, but overall, I would definitely recommend and come back again.
Desserts are a must. La Duni are famous for their desserts, if you have never been, go hungry and try it all! There are award winning cuatro leches and chocolate truffles cakes, lemon meringue, nutella, cinnamon brioche and more. Northpark offers baby cupcakes which might be better if you are wanting to sample it all, or you can get 4 slices of a tasting plate. The food here is pretty good too, they offer a wide array of dishes and drinks as well.
Great!. Upscale and romantic while still having a laid back atmosphere. Good mix of all ages. Great place for lunch, dinner or just go for dessert! extensive menu of exotic (non-alcoholic) drinks and alcoholic ones, great variety of coffee/espresso and large dessert menu.
Superior service!!! Tasty sangria with fresh fruit and good ice. Lots of fresh mint in mojito. Parking available across street for those who don't care to valet. Good portion size. Finished plate without feeling stuffed or hungry.
Very cool outta the way place superbly tasty Mexican food. I had the quesadillas de pescado; nicely grilled and seasoned perfectly. My wife had the street taco (beef). She claimed he flavor the flavor of the tacos were very rich. "Dos pulgares arriba" on the food. The award winning margarita was average, strong, but average at best and the glass was packed with ice and limes
Unique and delicious. It's too bad when someone gets a bad waiter/bad service, that can happen even at the Ritz! :) But the food here is different, tasty, the atmosphere is fun, and like my father used to say: "always eat at a restaurant that is packed instead of an empty one, that speaks volumes". You can call ahead for a table, though they don't accept reservations, but it helps and you usually get seated right away when you arrive. The Pollo Aljibe (Cuban-American dish) was to die for as well as the Enchiladas Suizas and their caipirinha drinks.
Great food. Had never been to any of the La Dunis, but happened to go to this one twice recently. Once for Sunday brunch (packed to the rafters, expect a wait) and once for dinner. The food ws terriffic. For brunch I had Huevos Finos - poached egg/ham/cheese on a popover; for dinner a salad trio that included a pork and rice salad that ate until my buttons were ready to pop.
Had heard from many that the service could be --- leisurely. Brunch was with friends so that suited us fine, more time to visit. Dinner was prior to a concert, so we told our server up front about that and he was very mindful of our time line.
There was one disappointed diner in our party who noted there was much better TexMex to be had around town, so if that's the cuisine you are after, this isn't the place.
Wonderful coffees and pastries. Love the attention to detail on the offerings of all creative coffees and pastries. The added bonus is the extremely affordable price, was shocked to order a caramel expresso and la leche cupcake for under $7. Dinner was fab as well...
Love, Love, Love. I eat here once a week. My friends and I absolutely love the menu, the decor and the outstanding service.
Best mojito in Dallas! So good I attended their mojito making class. Carne asada is yummy. FYI happy hour even on the weekend!
Yum!. The best mojitos in town!! Try the orange, it is fresh squeezed. Yummy chicken and tomato salad with avacado, hearts of palm, and queso fresco. Fresh, healthy, and great!
Great desserts and coffee :)
Great date place.. Aside from a very crowded Valentines Day a few years ago..every experience has been top notch. Always save room for the cake in this place.
Good but don't beleive the hype. I liked the food and everything was of good quality. I had the arepas and they were bland but the rest of the food was tasty. Poor service but every other server made up where ours lacked.
Great Latin food, but they really hook you with the desserts. Can't wait to go back.
Absolutely delicious in every way. Go & you will not be disappointed. Their gaucho chicken sandwich is the best chicken sandwich I've ever eaten by a mile. Fries are heaven. Nutella cake OMG.
Greatness. I have eaten at all of the La Duni's, and never have been disappointed. On every front, from the main course to deserts and pastries, it's off-the-hook greatness.
Leches Cake!!!. I am a chocolate person but probably my favorite non-chocolate dessert that I know of is the Leches cake at La Duni. I have described it to people before and the descriptions just don't do it justice. Just try it sometime and you will be impressed.
BEST POTATOES. Food is amazing, especially their breakfast potatoes! We crave them all the time, fried and baked to perfection. Service is a hit or miss but the food makes up for it.
Best brunch. My fav sunday brunch
I enjoyed my morning here. I went for a croissant and espresso, and they suggested a glorias as replacement. Not disappointed. Very warm service. Location is good. Small place but very cosy.
Very delicious food, the place is a little small but feels very cozy. If I could rate them more I would.
Thank you for fresh made food we will be returning here.

Very delicious! My gf and I are those type of people that like to go out and eat but can never decide where go to! If you’re like us then I definitely recommend you try this location! Great variety of food, drinks, pastries and coffee! Didn’t try their coffee but will be back to try it! The price is a bit higher but definitely worth the value of food you’re getting!
A unique experience: Chef’s table in a warm and cozy space. Latin cuisine at its finest !! Memorable brunch .. thank you and best wishes !!
My favorite place to take my mom when she comes to visit. The flautas are her favorite, mine too. My step dad had the roasted chicken it was also very good. And mom got some cookies to go. The butler bot is really cool and was easy to use to place our order.
Lovely little cafe. Friendly and timely service. I had the shrimp fried rice, it was so delicious😋. I initially went foe dessert, but glad I tried the food. I spotted the patio, I think it would be perfect for a date night.
The Eggs Benedict on a pop up pastry 🥐 was one of the best damn dishes I’ve ever had in my lifeeee!!!
The guacamole 🥑 and chips was great- chips are thin and crisp, and the spicy salsa drizzled on the sides was really damn good.
Our eggs 🥚 and chorizo were incredible, too.
I came here for my mothers birthday and I love this place! The man working here is very nice and he let me press the “Finish” button on the robot! No other place has let me do anything similar to that. One thing that I’m sure of is that the food is amazing, but there is a bland option of desserts. The atmosphere is tiny but relaxing somehow. I TOTALLY recommend!!
Best Carne Asada in the state. Best non-chocolate cake in the country: Cuatros Leches Cake. This tiny family run restaurant is so big with flavor! Don’t worry about the line- take-out just as good. Must Try if you are near downtown, uptown or design district!!
