Just moved to Dallas and wanted a place to get some authentic Mexican food. Ordered the Parrillada Tizon, it was amazing! These tacos are as good (if not better) than the ones I've had in Mexico. The servers were very friendly too! I can't wait to go back.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. BEST MICHELADAS IN DALLAS. Had the choriqueso for an appetizer (spanish sausage + cheese on flour tortillas) - AMAZING. The place serves come genuine Mexican food. The place is super clean, the staff is nice and the food is out quickly. Highly recommend.
Good copy of original. The Tizoncito Torta (Melanesa Breaded super thin steak with ham and Al Pastor meat) was my lunch today: very nice. Washed it down with the house Tamarindo juice drink (non-alcoholic).
It's not a big sandwich but it sure it filling: dribble some house green or red salsa on it if you like subtle heat that bites later.
I've tried a few things here, and everything is good. The menudo is very spicy and somewhat hot. It will definitely cure a hangover. The drinks are strong but a little pricey for what you're getting. The service is decent. Overall, they are consistent.
1st time here and definitely won't be the last!! Food was excellent and great serving sizes. I had the Pollo con Papa Flautas which came with 3 large flautas, 2nd person had a giant Tortas and 3rd had 4 corn taco's with an amazing choriqueso taco's (3) as an appetizer.
My brisket nachos were great, certainly will have them again. The drinks were very good as well. The vibe was good well. The reason for my 4 star rating is due to the fact that the waitress appeared to be busy. I'm use to the waitress checking in after getting our food to make sure we don't need anything but instead about 10-15 minutes after our food got to our table we had to call her over for refills and by that time it was too late to ask for the extra things I had needed.
First time trying the food here. Ordered a Pollo Torta and it was awesome with those homemade jalapenos! Along side with horchata. Ummm hmmm... I'll be going back to try something else.
Food and atmosphere was great. We were the only group of Asians there so it's definitely a legit place. The menudo warms the heart and soul. The torta tizoncito was huge! The quesadilla al pastor was juicy and flavourful.
My husband and I were so content after eating here. The staff all speak Spanish and great you in Spanish. Even better than that, most of the customers are Hispanic too so you know the food will be good. The food was fast, fresh and delicious. I love that they had all the condiments you need in front of you. Also we had the mangorita and it was definitely strong and worth the value. I think we will come back here again when we visit Dallas again.
The food used to be great, but lately it’s been ok. Too greasy.
Margaritas sometimes are too strong sometimes you can’t even taste alcohol.
The atmosphere of this place is okay as well, I like that this place it’s very clean and feels relaxing. Customer service has almost always been great, so no complaints so far.

When your friend/sister is in town and your she suggests Mexican cuisine my assistant searched Google for Mexican Restaurants near Lemmon Ave🤩 and the rest is history. El Tizoncito was selected because of its glowing reviews. Thank you to all the reviewers💯. El Tizoncito Lemmon was the perfect choice! The location was great, the food and prices were amazing, the vibe was good and our server Jose provided exceptional service! Every staff member that we encountered was very kind and courteous. Oh, their patio is everything! We loved the El Tizoncito experience🤩. So much so that our plates were cleaned and we’re looking forward to our next visit!
Great menudo and quesadillas! Went on a Sunday morning and was greeted by excellent service and food! Don’t forget to order your micheladas :)
Came here late at night, they weren't too busy. We didn't have a wait time, we were seated pretty quickly.
They brought us cups of black beans, and they were great!!
I ordered the Al Pastor torta and it was delicious!! It had refried beans and melted cheese as well as the meat. It came with pickled jalapeños and thinly sliced pickled carrots, which were great to add to the torta
When I go in there I feel like my culinary taste buds jump to a whole new level. There food is nothing short of flawless, impeccable and delicious. Sublime from the kindest of service, to the most mouth-watery of cuisines. High tips for these guys, there food is absolutely brilliant.

Thank you,
Great family atmosphere. Waiters are super nice.
Loved the chuleta tacos so good reminds me of tacos in Mexico. My husband tried the pastor con Queso and he recommends as well. They have a good variety of food. Love coming here my kids loved the food too.
Love this place! The food is always fresh and full of flavor, the staff is extremely friendly. Love to sit on the patio and enjoy lunch with my lady. I have been to two of their locations (believe that’s all they have) and it’s the same excellent experience at both.
I live in houston and every chance I get to go to Dallas this is where I enjoy going, Best coffee ever!! And food is always amazingly good. The youg man that helped us was so nice and kind and very attentive.
First time here. The staff were very attentive and professional. The food was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! We will definitely be back when visiting Dallas. We both had the bistec con queso taco - DELICIOUS!
Love this place. Pastor tacos are ammmmazzzing!!! The menudo is fantastic (only Sat & Sun). Drinks aren’t bad. We always get the same thing so I haven’t tried much here lol.
Great food and options. Chelada mix is also great. Their service is what kept it from a5 star review. I know it was just our server. I observed the other servers and they looked to be impressive
