My 1st time at this location but 3rd time visiting the brand. This experience was pleasant. The atmosphere was great kinda mellow/relaxing.
My order was the “Spicy Tikka Chicken Taco”. I have no complaints on that option. I also ordered the “Brisket Nachos”, these were a hit but kinda skimpy on the brisket. I was expecting to have a little more brisket than toppings.
Overall my visit was a good one, the service was polite and fast. I’d recommend and revisit also!
Who doesn't 💕 🌮??? I love Velvet Taco! The creativity and vision of tacos reimagined is jaw dropping. You literally can't go wrong with a single taco. You have to try them all! 🌮 🌮
Velvet tacos is by far our favorite taco place. Our family favorite is #12 and the elote. The ingredients are always fresh and everything is made in house. The tacos are very large and filling.
We visited Rockwall for the weekend and seen Velvet Taco and I had to give them a try. I had the Sweet Shrimp Taco & Chicken and Waffle Tacos. They were both delicious. I did not order everything that came on the tacos but the taste was not diminished. They were very delicious. I like that they weren't plain tacos. Every taco was specially crafted to its name. I also had the Brisket nachos. The beef on them were very tender but I was nearly full from my two tacos and didn't eat much of the nachos.
It's definitely a MUST try again because I love the idea of a finely CRAFTED taco!
First Time visiting here. I was surprised how tasty 😋 the brisket taco 🌮 is. I hate I only got one 😅. Velvet Taco at great place to meet up for a quick meeting or link up. I wasn’t to happy of the queso dip( too salty) 😬. Overall I’m giving a 4 star for good taco and good music. I will come back with more people 😝
Great food. Great vibes. Love that they are open late. It’s my favorite spot to hit up after a late show!

They have indoor and patio seating. It is open until late at night (around 2 a.m.) and closer to the SMU Campus.
Being a vegetarian, getting a paneer taco is a treat. Wide menu with Tacos, Chips, desserts and drinks.
The taco size is big. I usually get full in two tacos.

Love me velvet taco! Been eating here from the old to the new location. Can never go wrong.
Great place, centerly located. The menu took us a minute to understand, that it was all tacos. You're able to get one of each, if you wanted, and really get the feel for what you want (for the next visit. The tacos are a decent size). Service was great. Margaritas were sweet and strong. Loads of parking spots and great outdoor seating.

I’ve been here multiple times it’s better via drive thru oddly. Kobe burger taco no pickles is the move. It’s like a better Big Mac but taco form
Loved it! Good spot for some work lunch. Tried the Mango Jerki-Churri, the Korean fried rice, and the Kobe bacon burger. Each one had its own special flavor. I would say the Korean fried rice was my favorite. And it's definitely filling! Now it's going to be hard to want to go back to work without going into a sleep coma haha. I love it! Thanks!
Taco time! Great fusion tacos that makes it worth it to spend $7 per taco. And one taco and side is honestly enough. They have a variety of tacos that is really hard to pick if you're visiting. I had the briskly taco and elote corn. They are both amazing. We also ordered the blanco queso and kids chicken tenders because why not. The taco's tortilla is probably the most unique I have ever seen. It has a layer of grilled cheese. Genius. This is elevated taco for sure.
FIRST TIMER REVIEW ‼️ Went for lunch and had the blackened shrimp taco and the cod taco with curry aioli (it had a dill smell but looked like mustard). I also had a frozen margarita with tajin rim which was really delicious! The tacos were amazing although I won’t get the curry aioli again since I don’t eat mustard or mustard like substances. My friend had the chicken & waffle taco and the blackened shrimp taco along with the red velvet cake to go. I’ll be back to try other tacos!
This was my first time trying these tacos and let me tell you it was so delicious. Definitely coming again. And don’t get me started on the margarita ooooooweeeeeeee
Two words come to mine when I think of my experience at Velvet Taco. Those two words would be Good Vibes. From the minute I walked in, it just felt welcoming. It was very clean and the staff was simply amazing. Good service is good however when it's done with a smile, it simply fabulous. In regards of the food, I was blown away from it as well:)
I had the Elote & Chips, the Beer Battered Cauliflower, the Fish & Chips and the Chicken & Waffle tacos. The Chicken and Waffle taco was my favorite. To sum up my visit, I definitely give Velvet Taco off Greenville Ave 5 Stars
Had the Brisket and Mexican-Cali Shrimp they are GREAT!!!. Not your kinda street tacos but definitely a new mix to it.
Always a great spot for tacos. Wide variety of options and flavors. Their margaritas are one of the best in the area. I would also recommend trying their cake. Thick, rich, creamy goodness 🤤 you won't regret it.
This is some seriously fantastic food. We had #20, #15, #10 also the chips and queso. Will most definitely be coming back lots. We love tacos!!!!
Shout out to Alex! Thank you for being really nice to my little girl, especially for the free red velvet cake! First time eating here and the tacos are a bomb! This will be my regular taco place from now on.
