My first time here and I found it staggeringly good. Our waitress Brianna was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, patient and fun. Presentation alone was amazing and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

High tier sushi. Having moved to another state, there's no sushi around like it.

Not the biggest of sushi selection. They do have some unique items though. Sushi was very tasty and very fresh. Restaurant wasn’t busy at all on a Monday evening. Interesting to see they are only open for dinner. My only complaint would be they were short staffed so we had to wait a bit before our order was taken. Otherwise super friendly and helpful service. Definitely recommended.

They were very accommodating. The appetizers were great. We had the gyoza, chicken fried rice, and miso soup. We also had lots of sushi. The sushi was good, but it was literally falling apart the whole time. I feel like for the amount of money we dropped, they could have rolled the sushi tighter. The service was amazing otherwise.

This PLACE IS AMAZING!!!! Listen to me very carefully we ordered like double this food but I kept forgetting to take pictures because it was so good!! We had to reorder the salmon sashimi because it was so good!! It’s so incredibly clear the high standard the master chef has for the food here The service was absolutely amazing !! When the wait staff got overwhelmed a little bit the bar staff helped us out!! While it is definitely on the pricier side it’s definitely worth it for a special occasion night. Definitely recommend the hot sake as well!

Zen Sushi was really good. Not the options I thought of when reading about a Modern take of Japense cuisines. However, service was sort of spoty, but the sushi /sashimi was another level, so it was worth it! I would recommend making a reservation, which I happenend to do through Google itself! It does get busy

Absolutely love Zen’s Sushi! The service is always great the food always hits. Off the menu Pomegranate Mojito is my favorite! You can never fail with a quick bite here. Zen’s is a cozy laid back place to enjoy a nice intimate meal. We’ve been coming here for over 10 years!

I moved away from Bishop Arts in 2021 after living there over 10 years and Zen Sushi is one of the things I most miss about the area. The food was inventive and always fresh. I have never seen so many vegetarian and vegan offerings on a sushi menu and they were fantastic. For example, the beet xalapa roll had beets, jalapeño, and paper thin slices of lime and it was delicious. The vegetable Gyoza actually tasted like fresh vegetables, not just fried dough with indistinguishable mushy vegetables. The sweet potato roll, the tofu lettuce wraps, and the yakisoba were other favorites. The cocktails, like the blood and sand and others, were tasty. You know they do not use anything premixed. And the ginger crème brûlée with a hint of ginger and a crackly top was perfect. If you get a chance, go!

Delicious vegetable yakisoba. Veggies tasted super fresh and not over cooked with a crunch to them. Miso soup was nearly flavorless although the abundance of tofu and greens was nice. Yakisoba portion size is laughable for the price. For that reason, prob won’t return very often.

Fox Ears might be the best item I've ever had at a sushi place. Everything else was great too.

Gave our neighborhood sushi spot a try, so glad we did! It was a perfect impromptu date night spot. Simple spot with a good amount of bar seats and tables, booths. We indulged. Fresh food, friendly service. Will be returning!

Excellent service. Loved the atmosphere and music. Also, the food here is second to none. Drinks are weak. Save your money.
