We tried this place tonight and are so thrilled to have it in the neighborhood! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We will definitely become regulars :)
My fiancé and I tried this newly opened Indian restaurant and it far exceeded our expectations. We were unfamiliar with the dishes and the waiter attentively went through everything they had and made excellent suggestions. I will absolutely be coming back. If you are thinking about trying this place do your self a favor and check it out.
one of the best north indian food in the city of dallas.great ambiance and good services.
hope to go back soon for chicken tikka masala.
highly recommended.
Thoroughly delicious food, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. I can see why their Yelp reviews are glowing.
Fresh and delicious food. 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍
First time to eat here. Restaurant is elegant, clean and inviting. Food was spectacular. Service was top notch. Am letting all my friends know to give it a try. I'll be back!
Really nice place for family dinner...
I thought the buffet lunch was outstanding. I especially liked the Tikka Masala and the Tandoori Chicken.
One stop for fresh & delicious Indian food --> Mumbai Grill!!
Good service & good food. . Definitely coming back.
We had lunch buffet here and their food is amazing. Authentic north Indian flavour which we are actually looking for. Chicken and mutton kabobs are exquisite and delicious. We were little disappointed with chole bathure but everything else was great
The place is little small but even then ambience is quiet nice.
On service part, I think they are under staff as we have seen couple of people helping customers which explain little delay in their service.
But overall I love to try Mumbai Grill again for sure.
We had Naan and chicken curry and both tasted good and was up to the price.
Ambience and service both was great...
It’s a place for both family and friends...
We were 6 Indian friends craving for some good Indian Chaats and we pulled this up on Google to go here. They have lot of appetizers and it is a restaurant, very few options for chaats. Their extremely spicy Gobi Manchurian is delicious, the jamoons were really yumm.
Excellent food. Authentic food. Just loved it. Go once and you'll become regular like me. Their Chicken tikka Masala, Lamb chops are awesome.
Lovely and quick service. Had the vegetarian biryani (very spicy and with many vegetables) and spinach/chickpea curry and eggplant curry pots. Unlike some other places I have visited, there is more ingredient than sauce. Servings loos big and we had so much left over that it was shameful! So get ready for warm and delicious Indian flavours. I will definitely come back again!
I had visit several times this new indian restaurant and had great food and services.
Though they have limited items on buffet but quality and taste are great always i felt.
Dinner al a carte is wonderful.
I am really happy to see a great North indian food in my neighborhood.
This place definitely needs to in your list if you like good indian food with no so spicy dishes. The chicken manchurian was amazing along with tender tandoori chicken leg pieces. Although the options were limited but we were nit given a chance to crib about the quality.
it was a great experienced to visits MUMBAI GRILL IN DALLAS.we were humbly welcomed, food was excelent tasty and sevices as well.
it was our 1st visit since the restaurant opened 6 months back. nice ambiances good wine and beer selections.
definately come back soon for try their lunch buffet.
This was my first time trying Indian Food. They offer a daily Buffet here on weekdays except for Mondays that ends at 2.30pm. The price is 13.99 + tax and it's good compared to some other restaurants that offer their buffets for almost $20. The food here is good and I enjoyed the buffet. There was a decent amount of offerings. The interior of this restaurant is really nice and you almost feel like you are eating in a world class restaurant. Perhaps, it's the nice lighting and atmosphere here. I definitely will be back here for the buffet and also to try their regular menu. I recommend this restaurant.
Far above average buffet except for the freshness of the Biryani. The latter is always a challenge for buffet services but inexcusable for well known management reasons - quantity precedes quality hence leftovers are a common experience.
The mutton pieces were generous without discernable bone chips - rare experience. The sauce, Rogan Josh, should have had a better spice blend true to its name.
Loved the bite size pieces elsewhere including the Chole Bhature, Kababs and Tandoori, because it permits one to enjoy the full spectrum offered including the smaller sized pale brown Gulab Jamun.
Food is a solid 10, great spices and piping hot. Naan is a recommended. Service could have been a bit faster given that the place was only 10% full. Only downside was that the table for 4 is just not spacious enough for 4 people to consume food.
Highly recommend! We’ve tried many Indian buffets in Dallas, and this is our favorite. They have a large selection of dishes in their buffet. The restaurant is spacious and clean. The food is flavorful and fresh, and the wait staff is attentive.
The food was good. I’ll be back. The only 2 issues I had is the butter chicken I substituted the meat for chicken breast and my butter chicken wasn’t steaming hot. The chicken breast was kind of dry but it was very nice in there. The food was still excellent though. The waiters was nice and they were fast with getting our orders in and out. We will be back for sure.
There food was just the right taste and temperature.
Service was the best and very friendly.
Will recommend .
This was our first time at Mumbai Grill Buffet and it was awesome! The food was absolutely delicious and very tasty. They have vegetarian and non-vegetarian options as well. There were a lot of dishes including appetizers, curries, biryani’s, and desserts. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to someone who loves to eat a big lunch for a fraction of the price - it was very reasonable.
Naan is excellent. Chicken vindaloo was tasty, navratan korma was a bit heavy on the cream for my taste. The samosa were okay, but tasted baked rather than fried.
Food - we had veg as well as non veg dishes . Loved veg jalfrize , and appetizers platter . Few dishes were not up to the expectations
Service - extremely slow but staff was polite
Atmosphere - amazing
Very Good place to have authentic Indian food. They have maintained cleanliness. Staff is cooperative and service is good. Bit on expensive side but it's totally worth it. They serve freshly prepared food so you will need to wait a bit. Ambience is good. They also serve liquor so you can have a drink till your food is ready. It's an a la carte system and the portions are sufficient. Will suggest this place to have authentic Indian food.
Visited this place for weekend dinner. We reached earlier than expected and there was no rush. Staff is well trained, food is slightly spicy than other restaurants. For some dishes tomato puree dominates taste. Atmosphere is also better than most restaurants , only thing that affects the experience is table size, if you order more than 4 dishes for two people you will have to make some adjustments.
Good ambiance and good food. Taste of food is really good. Only thing is, they can renovate their restroom. I specially liked the starters. Service is good too. They have banquet as well. Should try lunch buffet. They have attached bar as well. Indian theme and Indian flavors, loved it..
This was easily one of the top 10 best Indian meals I have had. We were looking for something special for my son’s birthday, and this place delivered.
We ordered veg samosas, seekh kabobs, lamb rogan josh, chicken tikka masala, saga paneer and garlic naan. The samosas were good but not great. The kabobs were superb and at least twice the quantity I have ever received before. The rogan josh was good. The chicken tikka was fantastic (and I’m normally not impressed with it)...but the star of the night was the saag paneer. It had a dark, earthy taste that I don’t normally associate with saag. It was incredibly good.
The decor could use an overhaul and the tablecloths a good run through the laundry. Otherwise this was a perfect dinner. Looking forward to returning here for another dinner someday.
Attended a birthday party at Mumbai Grill’s party hall. The hall could accommodate up to 50 people easily.
The food was a good assortment of veg/ non veg item and was a pleasant surprise. Let me start with non veg items on the menu. Kababs, mutton biryani were the pick! On veggie side , dum aloo and chili 🌶 paneer were best of the lot.
Their deserts - mango kulfi and gajjar ka halwa summed up the whole evening which was fantastic ! Add this restaurant to your list for Desi dinners👍
