The sushi is very good and the noodle soups were so yummy. I can eat here everyday. This is my new favorite restaurant!!

It was pretty good but.... Went there for lunch with clients and the sushi and sushi rice was pretty good. That said, the restaurant itself felt a bit "sticky". It just didn't feel clean, bright or full of energy. Our server was brand new and was not yet knowledgeable nor very attentive. The parking garage is certainly convenience as it "hugs" the restaurant. If you are downtown, wanting sushi and within walking distance, it is just fine.
MY FAVORITE SUSHI!. I had to set a personal limit to twice a month for this place, otherwise it is the only lunch I would ever eat on a work day. It is within walking distance of my office.
I judge all other sushi experiences on the bar, set by this place.
The staff is friendly! The food is awesome, even for non-sushi eaters!
They do close from two till five and then reopen for dinner. On late nights at work or in downtown, I have stopped in and grabbed some to take home.
I love this place!
Good, even for a non-sushi eater. I was skeptical of eating here (I don't usually eat sushi) but my boyfriend and friends insisted. I ordered the dinner bento box, which contains California rolls, rice, a side salad, and a choice of meat (I chose chicken katsu). I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was and how full I got. I've been there since my first visit and have come to love it. I recently tried the Philadelphia rolls and they were great! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed.
Found via urbanspoon based on their "i like it" and reviews. About 5 blocks from AT&T HQ downtown. The food was fantastic, salmon teriaki, vegetibles and rice. Personal friendly service and a sushi bar where you can watch the chef do his art. I will be back yet this week on my stay in Dallas.
Came here on vacation from Florida and looked it up on urban spoon. I have to tell you really great sushi. Service was amazing super nice staff and fast, the sushi was on point with my favorite place back home. If I'm even back in the big D this is where I will eat!
Great sushi and noodles! Service was good and they were very friendly.
Great food and value. I really like the teriaki steak.
Whole in the wall place but so worth it. I traded it out for some high end rooftop restaurant and so glad I did. Sushi was so fresh tasting. Shumai so moist and soft and flavorful. Husband loved his udon as well. They have alcohol and amazing food- everything you need for a good time
We went here for my older sister’s birthday. It is a lovely little restaurant with great food and superb waitstaff. We were really blown away by how cool this place was!
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 4 years and May I say that I cannot believe what I have been missing! A friend recommend me and I have no regrets. The food here is absolutely fantastic, and the staff here are so genuinely great and friendly!
Very good flavor in the Bulgogi beef. Ordered Carterpillar and Drangon Rolls, also tasty. Cozy place and good service.
Service was phenomenal, the women treat you so kindly and with grace. Their prices are reasonable, SO RARE in this world and especially in downtown. You get a lot for what you pay for! Extremely quiet and cute hole in the wall place!
I have been coming here for years. This is authentic sushi from some great chefs. Everything was fresh and loved the quail egg shots. We WILL be back!
Staying down the street. Was going to get Chick-Fil-A and then I saw this place. Did not expect 4.7 stars. Read some reviews. Gave it a shot and glad I did. Got way too much - egg rolls, a volcano roll and shrimp fried rice… but it was all great and the two ladies serving were great. That seemed to be where all the singles that came in sat even if we weren’t drinking, which was fine. Easier for them. They were attentive, kind and seemed to enjoy serving others.
The sushi is made to perfection! The kind-hearted servers made me feel comfortable. Highly recommend. 🍣🍙

Employees are super nice and helpful! Fish katsu bento box was awesome, their ginger salad dressing was also really really good, I would buy it in bulk if I could. The restaurant is easy to find and it’s very convenient. The ladies working here are just superb.
I think the service is really what makes this a 4 star review. The people are very friendly and nice. The sushi is good, however I would say the more basic rolls are average. The higher dollar rolls have more put into them but still have that basic shrimp tempura and imitation crab flavor. Overall though it is a decent clean restaurant that I will be back to.
Sushi is delicious. Everything taste fresh. Service was very quick and very friendly staff. Recommend it 100%.
I don't think downturn Dallas is renowned for its Japanese scene, but this place is an absolute gem.
Hosting both a sushi bar and an actual bar (as well as booths) the place is very cozy and unfussy. The decor and style is on-point, service is quick and attentive, and the food is fresh and genuine.
I got to order some calamari tempura which was okay, but the salmon lovers' combo was some of the best sushi I've had, especially for that price. It's a place worth visiting and revisiting.
This sushi is amazing! We tried to tornado roll, the sunshine roll, and the and dragonfly roll as well as the large fried rice plate and all of the flavors combined were amazing. Great service. I will come back!
Food was really delicious and the service was awesome!
I Love Sushiya and my family and friends love it too! It's always sooo fresh. You have never taste combination rice like that. I rated 4 stars because the older gentleman at the bar can be kinda direct and a little rude. But the ladies are so sweet they make up for him.
Oh my gosh! I visited this restaurant after seeing an article in the Dallas morning news. I LOVE supporting local businesses.
This place did not disappoint! My fiancé said it was the best deep fried roll he has ever had (Tornado Roll). My Rainbow roll was fresh. The goyza=heaven!!!! Chicken fried rice was a huge portion and very yummers! Service was FAST & the employees are lovely
This is gonna be our official sushi spot. ❤️❤️
Support local businesses!!!!!!!
This restaurant is a very cozy spot. It is just so comfortable here. And the entire staff is very friendly. You are waited on non stop. And the food is very, very good. The portions are also huge. And the sushi rolls are made when ordered. You can watch them being made. And the prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend.
Really enjoyed tonight’s dinner! The entrance off the street is very unassuming, but as soon as you walk in it feels very cozy. We had the chicken teriyaki with fried rice (and the fried rice stole the show!), a volcano roll, and the tornado roll. The tornado roll is deep fried and had the best crunch I have ever had on sushi! If you are in the area you must stop in and give it a try!!
