We recently went there for dinner with our 2 young toddlers. When we walked in I thought it may be too nice to bring young children but they really catered to the boys. Most importantly the food was amazing. This was a great find. I will definitely go back. Love this place!!!
Great Junior League home cooking. I stole the title from somebody (don't remember which one) but its pretty accurate.
If you grew up in the South in upper demographics, you will feel right at home here: these ladies take all of the junior league cookbook recipes and improve on them.
Great salads, sandwiches, and deserts.
Good for packing picnics or informal brunches.
Downside: very, very crowded at lunch and tables are close together: best for takeout.
Kitchen at Preston Trail. I try to go every Thursday because this is where the best chicken n' dumplings are in this city and Metroplex. They are the best and if I could eat two servings I would, but fortunately, a serving along with a salad and their homemade salad dressing and a corn muffin is a very satisfying meal. I have brought family members and friends from the office and they all rave about these dumplings. I highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys chicken n' dumplings. I give this a highest star ranking. Thank you for making my Thursdays the best!
Smoked Turkey Salad. The Kitchen has several salads that are awesome. They have sandwiches, wraps, and they have a special cooked meal every day. For instance on Tuesdays - enchiladas/Thursdays - Chicken and Dumplins/another day, I can't remember which day is Chicken Fried Chicken. My favorite salad is the Smoked Turkey. They also have Chicken Cobb Salad. These salads are big and very good. The Kitchen also has homemade cakes and cookies -- a little pricey -- but good.
We discovered this place one night and it very quickly became our favorite place to go for date night. This place fills our soul. We have seen several bands there and each one is incredibly gifted. The food , service and drinks are amazing too!!

My wife and I went here to See Dana Harper perform. If loving an artist could be described in one word, I would say, "Sanctuary." The full menu wasn't open that evening, but despite that, the service was brilliant, and the atmosphere...ahhh...the atmosphere..smh was so perfect. This place helped in creating the most memorable moment, at one of the most memorable performances i have ever had the pleasure of going to. Dana Harper ♡, She's so beautiful, and her voice took my wife and I on a journey of love, life, acceptance, and relaxation. The vibe was so right. Dana Harper, (I was the guy with the glasses sitting behind your classmates, and my wife was the lovely woman sitting opposite from me). We love you. We truly support your music, and you are absolutely gorgeous in every way. Thank you for that evening.
We loved the music and atmosphere. The food was just ok and the AC wasn't working well so we were really hot but we will go back and give it another try. You'll like it if you like music.

What a nice little gem nestled in a strip mall. I didn't have high expectations but was pleasantly surprised. Warm and cozy inside with perfect dim lighting for unique musical experience. Short food and drink menu. I had the chicken fried chicken and it was really tasty.
The greatest secret in this area! Lovely atmosphere, great food & staff, as well as Great Jazz.

In the heart of North Dallas you will find this magical place. Quite ordinary looking from the outside, as strip mall restaurants tend to be, however, once inside, you are swept away into a musical and dining experience reminiscent of a fine jazz club. The kind of club you would expect to find in a city known for its fine jazz clubs (which Dallas is not). On this particular night we caught a performance by Aubree-Anna who happens to be the top rated jazz singer in all of North Texas, and voted one of the most beautiful women in this city. Although Aubree-Anna is absolutely deserving of all of the accolades she receives, the venue is a star of its own. The first thing that draws your attention is the beautiful intimate stage with a grand piano, and a series of beautiful guitars hung on the wall. The room is bathed in soft blue lights and there is a full bar. The tables and seating are comfortable, the service is excellent, and the food equally so. On the nights they have music, the owner, Tony Hakim will usually join the band on stage to sing and play his guitar and he is outstanding! The place only seats around 80 people so make sure to make reservations!

Wonderful bar, food and live music! This hidden gem is worth the visit. The owner and staff are great people that create a great atmosphere.
My mom and I had the pleasure of checking out this establishment and it was absolutely a 10/10. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The food, the service, music, atmosphere, EVERYTHING was incredible. I am so glad that we went and we are excited to go back! This is very up and coming and a hidden gem!
We had a great time. We had drinks and desserts and watched the live jazz. The music was awesome. If you like live music and like jazz music, this is a fabulous small venue.

I have enjoyed relaxing while dining at Kitchen Cafe many times and loved it each time. Recently, I had another event for my '40 years in real estate' at Kitchen Cafe' and it was a BIG success! Tony and Lisa, the owners, were extremely helpful in providing great food, service and making sure everything went smoothly! I highly recommend this venue! Five Stars!

We had the pleasure of dinning for New Years Eve 12/31/22. We drove in from out of town and wanted an atmosphere of live music and great food, and it was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!!
We stopped here on a whim. I’m so glad we did! Perfect date night or just chill and have drinks. Music was awesome! We will definitely make it one of our stops in Dallas!
