The food was cold but i love the place my husbands eggs where cold an everthing else.. The cooks need up the game fr fr.. But i love the food ... Just hate cold food.. Hands up to the waitress the are the BEST..100

Went to dinner here with my partner. There was only one other couple while we were there so we were served quickly. Host was really nice. We both ordered burgers with fries. The food tasted decent. What we didn't like was seeing a person grab our frozen fries with their bare hands (no gloves) and putting it into the fryer. Then placing my bacon on a towel that we couldn't really tell if it was clean or not. It just didn't look very clean (in the kitchen area) but again, food didn't taste bad.
I've been eating here a long time. But this time was different. Table was dirty. Steak was raw and full of fat a gristle. Sprite was syrup. Onion rings were hard as a rock and tasted like grease had never been changed out. I'd maybe understand if they was busy but they were not busy at all. The waiter was really nice, and like I said I been coming to this place a long time so I'm not going to do 1 star. Waiter is what kept that from happening. (She still got tipped) That and all the good meals I have had there over the past 20 yrs. But I won't waste another 70 bucks and tip next time.

The minute you walk in the atmosphere changes, you feel at home and you don’t want to leave! That brother in the kitchen, be working that grill! Food was good. Classic diner style like I remember growing up. Nothing to greasy or over-seasoned. Perfect. No 5 stars only because I feel food presentation lacks in the US in most places and classic, good diners also tend to have a long wait for food. But definitely recommended for a good brunch.
The best diner in Oak Cliff late night. Good food at a great price. Service was excellent and fast. The cook did a great job ensuring the dishes were spot on and ensured the freshest ingredients.

We came here after a rough day. It was right after the State Fair Shooting. The staff was awesome. YOLO was working that night and was honestly running everywhere but on it. I would totally go to this diner over Waffle House and Ol South. It's typical diner food and fair price. Hat's off to the short order cook that night also. I didn't catch his name but he was swamped and popping out orders like nothing. It was honestly just awesome to watch him cook. They also have French toast. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Real diner feel, only had one cook one waitress . No straws i was not putting my mouth on the cup . Food took a little long but when it came you would have thought Jesus himself was back there cooking, it was good.
Food was great . I order the 2x4 and replace the pancake with a waffle which just made it better .
I really enjoyed the food and the service in this place and would like to go again soon! I felt a little cold in there and asked the waitress if they could raise the temperature and she said sure! And did it right away and I felt the difference right away! Great service!
First experience at Metro Dinner OC. Service and food quality were great. Cleanliness throughout the restaurant is still a little behind. Nice little diner in Oak Cliff! Will definitely come back!
A great spot. Not fancy, doesn't have a really large menu, but what they do they do well. I highly recommend for breakfast. It might look like a dive from the outside, but don't let that discourage you. Seriously old-school diner.
