Recently experienced the delights of this popular gem, a cozy ramen spot with a warm ambiance. The attentive staff added a personal touch to the dining experience, ensuring we felt well-cared-for throughout. The ramen itself was a flavorful delight (personally recommend the Tokyo black) boasting proper spice levels that catered to our preferences, and generous portion sizes that left us satisfied.
However, it's worth noting that the cleanliness of the place could use some attention. While the overall experience was positive, a tidier environment would certainly enhance the overall impression. Despite this minor drawback, the delicious ramen and excellent service make it a worthwhile visit for any ramen enthusiast."
Love the music! Love the dining! And most of all love the food! The ramen was phenomenal and very delicious. First time here and I'm planning already returning, even though I live an hour away. Can't wait.
Don’t walk, run to order the black garlic tonkotsu from here. My goodness, the waitress recommended this dish and it was DELICIOUS. You won’t be disappointed
Not exaggerating but this is probably the best ramen I’ve had in Dallas so far! So much flavor! I got the Tokyo Black 🔥
WOW! Let’s just say I was blown away! So much flavor, noodles, meat, veggies! I almost wanted to order another one. Service was quick after you order, great vibe an downtown walking distance to everything! If you want some quick authentic Raman you def will not be disappointed. Price is good but you get what you pay for! Will be back!
If you are looking for authentic Ramen, sorry, you come to wrong place. However, If you want to get not too expensive Japanese food and get bigggg pork belly with not salty soup, here is your choices!
First time visit! I got Tonkosu Ramen I think, and it was good. It could be better and they forgot my whole soft egg, had to bring my bowl back to ask them for it. The service was alright, you pick up your own bowl, but they have staff who clean for you afterward. The taste of the soup was different. The outside seating in the back is nice... Overall, I would be back to try different Ramen.
Food is great, this is my new #1 ramen spot. Dallas has some incredible food. The black garlic tonkotsu is next level. Highly recommend if you enjoy ramen.
We came here for lunch and it was delicious! Pretty small space and not a lot of seating if you have a larger group, but definitely worth the stop. I had the Tokyo Black Ramen which was delicious.
Great place for Ramen.. it was a little loud for me, but it's the Deep Ellum vibe.. the food was great! They have outdoor and indoor seating. They were out of a lot of things though.😩
First time at a ramen restaurant & it was delicious! I don't remember the name of the dish I chose but I'd definitely choose it again.
It was a little more pricey than I expected and add ins were an additional charge. I have zero chopstick skills so a fork would've been appreciated but I managed some how.
If my son offered to take me again I'd definitely accept!
I love this place. I'm from Louisiana but everytime I come to Dallas I like making this a priority. The staff is awesome, the atmosphere is awesome, and it's some of the best food I've ever had. I love hearing the staff talk about anime while they are cooking, it really makes it feel like they actually enjoy being here. You gotta get the Tokyo black Ramen with the fried gyoza. The front of house guy with the samurai tattoo on the back of his head was super attentive to everyone in the restaurant. I can't say enough about this place haha
Great tasting ramen that is perfect on a cold night. Very flavorful broth and even the mild spice is just right. I would recommend adding extra noodles so you can have some for every drop of broth!
One thing to note if dining in, it is a very crowded and small venue. Also very hustle bustle atmosphere so get up to a kiosk, try to snag a spot as quick as you can, and then enjoy!
I ordered the tonkotsu ramen with a soft boiled egg and the fried gyoza. The egg tasted good, if not a bit bland.
The pork belly in the ramen tasted heavenly and it paired well with all the ingredients. My only gripes with the ramen itself was despite the great slightly umami flavor of the broth, it was a bit weak. Along with that the bamboo chutes tasted and smelled off, though that is usually a given with most sources available, which are either canned or jarred. The fried gyoza was new to me (I've only ever had them steamed) but it was still good, I would prefer steamed, which was one of the options, but I decided to try something new so it's not fair to judge it.
Overall I would rate the dishes 4 stars only due to the broth and bamboo chutes.
This place is one of the better Ramen spot i ever been to. Good portion! Would recommend.
