We ordered the Carrot Cake Waffle and Grandpa’s Favorite breakfast. The waffle was amazing! Lots of raisins, so just be aware if those aren’t your thing. That cream cheese drizzle though.....so good! Bacon was perfectly crisp and the sausage gravy had a great flavor - a little on the salty side - but delicious nonetheless. Would def recommend. Anxious to go back myself to try something else.

This is for the new Oaklawn Location: Great start to a brand new place. The staff is still learning so be patient and give this place a chance. The food was great. I had a great brisket omelette and the potatoes were delicious also. Great atmosphere, they put some major bucks into this place so I hope people will try it and keep going back.

When the only complaint you have about an establishment is you want a bit more of their wonderful food on the plate, it’s a pretty good sign you’ve stumbled into something amazing. I’ve had a lot of pancakes in my life and I’ve never had them this fluffy and flavorful. I found myself wanting them to be a little larger, or just one more of them if keeping them this size is what caused them to be awesome. The biscuits and gravy were also a hit and it took will power to leave behind something called pina colada cheesecake that was staring at me lovingly from the sweets case. I found the staff incredibly friendly and wouldn’t care if they were purple with green spots - if they can operate a successful venture in the gayborhood then it’s pancakes for everyone! It shouldn’t matter and we should all really work to care less about details as long as the environment is friendly and inclusive.

Excellent food, so far I have not found anything I didn't love. The owner is an amazing chef and has developed unique recipes that I have not found anywhere else. Today I tried the Texas Cackleberry Sammy with a side of garlic potatoes and a cappuccino and for dessert a white Chantilly cake with a Strawberries. Delicious!

One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. Sunny side up egg, applewood bacon, house made spicy pimiento cheese on jalapeño bread. Fast casual set up with full bar. Fresh pastries at the counter, cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls, yum.

Had one of the best breakfasts ever. Food tastes perfectly cooked and fresh. And the service and people were friendly and attentive. Wish I’d found this place a long time ago.

Best seasoned eggs and potatoes I've ever had. I'm actually eating the banana nut chocolate chip muffin and its stupendous warmed up. Oh I bought $15 worth of sweets. And I'm not a drinker, but the Bloody Rickey is too good. Cute little spot with just enough tables. I can't wait to go back. 😆

Love everything about this new spot in Oak Lawn! My favorites? The bacon, the biscuits and gravy(I can't stop thinking about those biscuits), the strawberry cupcake, everything was so delicious! We met several staff and the owners and everyone was so gracious; we will definitely be back. Try this place!

Love this place! Terrific food, great atmosphere and service. Several healthy options to go with the decadent bakery items, too! What a great addition to Cedar Springs.

Food is amazing and you'll find yourself wanting more, yumm. Baked goods are worth gaining the weight for. Any place that sells cupcakes and beer, count me in! Mark and Chad are always so helpful and willing to do anything to make a customer happy!

The food is great! We ordered the grandpas favorite pancakes. The biscuits were crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside. The peach jam was awesome. Egg soft and fluffy. The waitress and bus guy moved through the crowd with ease and was very attentive. No distractions with oversized tvs in the main area pure conversations. No kid options but that’s fine.

The food was very good! Made to order, fresh and tasty. You seat yourself and order food at the counter, with self-serve soda and water. Don't forget to get your own silver ware also. Casual comfortable lo key place .

A really cool place to stop in for a bite! Nice decor, & a nifty use of space with the bar tucked to the side. Wish the menu behind the counter was larger words for us glasses wearing people. The food was really good! I definitely made a happy plate! It's a place you would go back to try all of the menu items!

We went here early morning 8am and had breakfast. The place is nice and the food is delicious! You can’t park across the street in that nice parking lot or you may get towed (we got a warning). The servers and the customer service was great.

All of the 5 stars. Order at the counter, find a seat, and wait for perfection. Urban, eclectic, so darn good. Try everything. Small touches matter and the jam (passion fruit, raspberry, etc) all homemade. And they didn’t have any to sell. Just solid, good and a total destination for the day all on its own. Great drinks- standard and extravagant food. Just make it part of the visit. Let’s be real clear on this one….. this place is on the road ThrockMorton and that will be the name of my next pet. *** I travel for work and play focusing on the small business that serve great food, good people and make a place worth the visit. No bad reviews from me as everyone gets a second chance and I’m not in one place long enough to find out. Only good places get my time and attention. One of the best bistro / bunch restaurants in Dallas and it’s locally owned!! There’s plenty of seating & a small bar. The chicken salad croissant was delicious, and the red pepper chicken panini was tasty!!

My wife and I stopped in and had a fantastic experience. The service was the wait staff was friendly and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and everything was priced far lower than we expected. Everything was fresh tasting and nothing had old or freezer burn feel to it. The meat was all fresh and we will be back. I would recommend it for anyone in the are and wanting to have a good meal and a great price with warm service.

All the food was cooked perfectly and unbelievably cheap. Food was out in less than 10 minutes as well. The picture below is a friends dish but I got the Early Riser with 2 pancakes and no complaints. All around great spot and surprised it wasn’t busier

We chose to go here because our hotel had terrible breakfast the day before. We were just winging it and wanted to go somewhere nearby and looked up some breakfast places and found this. So glad we did! The food was wonderful! The staff was friendly and the service was quick. This was a great place to take our 10 year old, but would be a wonderful place to have brunch with your friends. Such a clean place and great environment! If we ever need to visit downtown Dallas again, this will be on our list of places to go.
