It’s a classic burger! I got the Double Double with all the fixings and onion rings. The meat is seasoned and the bun is perfection, toasted and soft. They don’t make them like this anymore! Delicious! Atmosphere is okay. The floors need a little love but the customer service more than makes up for it. It’s inclusive and LGBTQIA+ friendly. Great price as well.
Visited here for the first time just before noon on a Saturday. Burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, plus other classic burger joint options. Burgers was delicious, ordered a cheeseburger, and my son had cheeseburger with bacon(he loves their thick cut bacon). Fries were excellent, not greasy and not “dry” tasting. Nice little patio outside, though seats not under the awning were subject to acorns falling from the sky(Nov), as well as bird droppings.
This place is exactly what we were looking for in an old fashion burger joint in today's world. Very good burger, simple basic good quality ingredients. Everything was hot and fresh, the oil was definitely fresh, the onion rings are thick and juicy but crisp on the outside. The jalapeno poppers have half a pepper and melted yellow cheese, perfectly fried. We also shared a strawberry milkshake and it was spot on!!! I have 0 complaints, the staff was so kind and helpful as well. Super fast and friendly service, lgbtq+ friendly, and they had some really yummy looking cake, we took a piece to go. I'm definitely gonna be returning here. Parking in the back of the building and handicap accessible ramp. Chris was the guy running the register, and he is amazing, Customer Service 👏 ❤️
If you're looking for just a good stacked old fashioned burger, you've come to the right place. Some of the best onion rings out there, light crispy and delicious. Same for the tots, crispy and no mushy inside, perfect. It's in the heart of bishop, so it's also a nice place to eat, people watch and on to the next adventure.

Patties were juicy, we got one Texas sandwich style and another with guac. Very filling, would come hungry.

Haven't been to this place in 7 yrs and it was just as good as I remembered! Come with an appetite because the burgers are HUGE! Large portions with large flavor is what you should expect here. If you also like homemade cake or blue bell ice cream, it is also here. I was more than full after eating my burger and tots. Will definitely be back before another 7 yrs pass me by.

Classic burger joint. Good prices and good food. I got the Hunky’s Texas cheeseburger which is a bacon cheeseburger on Texas toast and their chili cheese fries. Fries are a little small for what you’re paying, but the burgers are a good value.
I love the big straws and this place, specifically this street corner where Hunky sits, is where I met my husband, while having coffee, 20 years ago. ❤️
I've been coming here for DECADES and I've never left here unsatisfied. The burgers are to DIE FOR. While here you also need to try their shakes and onion rings as well. Very delicious!

I was appreciatively surprised at the sandwich I received! Most places have downsize the size of their food for astronomical prices so when I took my order to go I thought oh well, and like I said was pleasantly surprised to find a normal size sandwich which was delicious a small size onion rings which was really very large and all for a very small price comparatively! Really really happy with what I purchased after my first visit there will go back.
Hunky's is a very popular place. I had the delicious sweet potato fries and the beef chili cheese dog. I loved it and recommend Hunky's for the retro diner experience.

I just love coming here. The staff is always so nice and helpful… the food is simple, yet AMAZING….. We had the best service today from Augustine!!! He was so beautiful and sweet. The owners here have it right, when it comes to everything in this business. We will definitely be back.

Cute 50s diner. The service was friendly and prices were decent. I tried a cheeseburger and fried pickles. The cheeseburger was a decent size and filling; however, it was a little greasy for my taste. The fried pickles were decent, but could have been a little more crispy. They were a little limp. Overall I'd go again, but considering trying something different.
Absolutely INCREDIBLE! The burgers here are hearty and delicious and the fries are the best I've had in years! I will absolutely be coming back here again soon!
