One of the best Tacos places I ever visited
Hot , fresh and fast
I ordered 2 Tacos ( 1 carne asada and 1 Bistek ) and Menudo ( chico )
Everything delicious so far
Highly recommend
We got the mole gordita, bistec taco, chicharrón gordita & more and it was all absolutely delicious! I'm not a huge fan of some corn tortillas but these exceeded my expectations. We highly recommend and will definitely come back!
Can't say enough about this place. Authentic and fresh. So flavorful. We managed to bridge the language gap and get a great lunch at a very reasonable price. This is one of those little local hole-in- the-wall places that you just can't miss.
Very delicious 😋 clean place, prices are good for fresh food.
Small place but you can't find a better place for tamales or menudo. Plus they are constantly making fresh tortillas as you are ordering. This place gets packed,so either get in early or be prepared to wait in line as it always out the door.
They have fresh tortillas but they also have several food choices that are good and auntentic Mexican dishes I pretty much like everything except the fajitas. They are too hard and have a weird taste. Most of the staff are nice. I've noticed the prices have gone up sine I started going but overall still recommended.
Today was my first time visiting this establishment!!! The fajita tacos were so worth it!!! They gave me a lot of meat in my tacos. Everything was so fresh. I had a 10 minute walk home and my food was still hot when I got home. The tacos were big too!!! I just need to learn to speak Spanish!!! I love their tacos so far. I need to try their other dishes. Thank you guys for serving awesome food!!
Tamales... This place blew my mind from the first time I ate from La Nueva. Now I only ate the chicken tamales but on a scale of 1-10. I would rate the tamales a 9. The price for half a dozen is a little pricey which is my own opinion but $7+ almost $8 bucks for 6 any $ spent will be well spent they make sure and pack em in really good..
Love stopping in for some tacos on homemade tortillas, then filling up in some guacamole salsa and tamales to go. Great prices and very delicious. Gringos, don't be afraid to stop in, it is worth the stop. Had a churro the other day that was very solid.
Delicious hot & flavorful food. Cool seeing the back kitchen area making the tortillas fresh. Although with that much business i recommend fix the cosmetics of the place to go along with the experience of enjoying such yummy food.
Haven't had this good of Mexican food in a long time! First time we had came to this place, glad we took a chance. The outside and area around it doesn't like much but the food makes up for it. They had a big menu, several options with food and treats. I had taco plate with fajita and bistec and my wife had the brisket with potato plate. Both plates came with tortillas that were made there. The food was hot and had great homemade, authentic and fresh taste. For the inexpensive price you got a good portion of food. Next time I come Im trying the chile relleno but taking some tamales, salsa and tortillas home! Feel lucky to have found this spot, will be coming back soon.
We Googled Mexican restaurants and this one popped up. It was very delicious. We had chili rellenos and it was very good. The staff was super nice to us and even gave us complimentary chips and green sauce. Tortillas were delicious.
They make their own tortillas and the tacos are a good size, larger than most street tacos. They also have 15-20 varieties of meats. The pastor and bistec con papas were very tasty.
I love!!!!!!! the food here. It is a small place but they have the best tortillas and caldo de res ever! Been going here for a while now and wont have caldo from anywhere else. I also like that they sell their own salsas and chips. Prices are fair for the amount of food they give you.
Cant beat this place.
Great small tortilleria. If you need fresh corn or flour tortillas, these are fantastic. They also have a pretty extensive menu of cheap plates for lunch. But, man, those tortillas!
After living in San Antonio for almost 10 years, it was tough to find a good neighborhood taco joint in Dallas, but we finally did. La Nueva has great tortillas as well as excellent staples - guisada, barbacoa, picadillo, etc. The salsa & soups are always spot on too. Excellente!
