The staff here were very generous and the food was fresh and hot. I used the app which was helpful because my food was ready in no time. I will be visiting this location again.

This location is much better than the one at Illinois and I-35 which has long lines and wait times. It was much quicker to get in, the food was hot and fresh, and employees were friendly during my visits. The only issue was the people who walk up to your car asking for money. I'd give you food if you're hungry but don't want to enable someone's addictions.

Service shone on this visit, the employeeswere patient and showed their expertise in their positions, except the kitchen staff. Food was not the best, the meat was scarce, and each taco had maybe 4 pieces of shredded lettuce. I understand profit is needed, but it seems like they were being stingy with the ingredients within the tacos. Either they are under ordering or throwing away food at the end of the week. Please do better with prepping the food better. Yes, I have fast food experience, so I can see the difference in how something should be prepared. If prices are being increased, the product quality should NOT go down.

I must be honest about this review. My lunch there on this occasion is more about a childhood comfort food than anything else. Growing up in the 70s the one thing i remember most about "Jack-in-the-Crack" was how glmuch I enjoyed thier cheap tacos. In the day, they were like ¢19 each and as a family my parents would order what seemed like 100 tacos. I enjoyed them then, and I still do. But here's the 5 star review. I am not sure what type of meat is in them, if its meat at all. They are WAY too greasy, have so little lettuce and other veggies that it barely makes a difference. The shells many times are only crunchy at the opening. The rest is chewy. But I still love them. So first, you take the taco and place it between 2 stacks of napkins and press all the grease out. Just a quick and light pressing, no major effort needed. Once the excess is pressed out, its ready to enjoy. Just try not to think too much about the grease or what the meat could be. Not to worry you, but in the 70s, before they blew up the clown as part of a brand relaunch, they got caught serving kangaroo meat at some locations. The rebranding was needed after that little tarnish to the brand. Maybe try a piece of their cheese cake afterwards to take your mind off the thought that always pops into my head, "I wonder how many years I just took off my life? "

Food is good, service is okay but slow. The atmosphere is not good. People always hanging around begging for money. One guy ask me for money and I told him I don't have cash however I can buy him some food and he told me I don't want no food I want cash. Smdh
