The cheese steaks are delicious, the fries are seasoned well, and the lunch special is a great price. By far, the best cheese steaks I've had in Dallas. I highly recommend.
Great Cheese Steaks at a great price. I love this place. They have a great lunch special as well. Staff is always friendly.
Made when you order, hot and delicious. There's only a handful of chairs in this tiny place, so get it to go. I like the "Gino" option with peppers.
Absolutely delicious! I love the bread! The meat is cooked & flavored well. Service is good & friendly. I love this place & highly recommend it.
*Call before you go to and be sure that they are open. When you get to the end of the operator message just hang on & the phone will finally l ring.
Great cheese steaks. Super small - most people take sandwiches to go. Was a little warm inside and only has 2-3 small tables. You can see the chef cook the food and I enjoyed that they wore an actual chef's shirt.
Small locally owned resturaunt. The owner was friendly and took pride in his product. I ordered the Gino and it was just the right amount of spice added to a traditional Philly cheese steak sandwich. Bread is fresh and meat was good.
Location was not good, with little parking and a seedy kind of big city vibe, but the owner said he was moving off Preston and Cost within the next month. He should do well there. Best of luck!
We moved from the northeast a few years back, and every once in a blue moon we crave some Phillycheesesteaks, or NY Style pizza, or Brooklyn style Chinese food.
This place was a godsend! We went for the classic phillysteak, and LOVED IT. AWESOME style. Real and authentic.
Service was very courteous and friendly.
Great food, nice people. I've had cheesesteaks far and wide but I see why Gino's specialize in these. Their bread is phenomenal and their fries are seasoned to perfection. Plus where else can you find Fanta Birch beer on tap?
Well, I'll definitely tag it with the "hole in the wall" type if place. But like most "hole in the walls" the food is fantastic. I ordered the Ginos style cheesesteak and at first bite I was won over. This cheesesteak in particular is not your normal steak and cheese as it has some kind of red sauce on it, but I immediately knew that was going to enjoy every bite until it was gone. The fries were fried to perfection and while the hot sauce might not be for most, it was definitely for me. The ingredients were obviously fresh, specially the bread. I'd definitely make the drive again.
Just moved nearby and went in on a random night to try their cheesesteaks. The guys working were very friendly and told me that they have their bread and other ingredients shipped direct from Philly. When I got home and tasted it, I was thoroughly satisfied. Washed it down with a grape soda and their onion rings....good stuff.
