Food was Excellent...service at the cashier was a lil aggressive on the tip, she literally turned the register around for me to tip and I declined! I noticed they did it for every customer as I sat there...Hello ESPUMOSO!!! YOU GET NO TIP, just for ringing me up!! Her personality was not even that upbeat..and you have to walk back from your table to get your order which made the register turn around thing...#COMICAL!!! Get it together folks!!! Food was awesome and my cappuccino was ok.

🥳 What a pleasant surprise! 🥟 Veggie Empanada 💯 ☕ Cuban coffee is bomb (bit sweet)💣💥 🥣 Acai bowl was pretty legit too 🍧 🌄 Breakfast menu before 11am 📰 Decent amount of seating (mostly indoors) - a couple outside tables. I can't wait to try their breakfast & seasonal empanadas next time

The empanadas in the Cuban coffee were excellent. Also, I felt the price was very good and gave a great value for the money I don’t get down to this area of town but if you’re here, be sure to come by Espumoso Empanadas.

I love the empanadas. I go there anytime I'm in the area. They advertise a good selection of the baked goods but usually the one I want that day is out, but any of the muffins are good.

Espumoso has the best Empanadas in Dallas hands down! I first discovered them in bishop arts but found out they have a location at Baylor (much closer to my office!) the location is not ideal as parking is a hassle. You have to park on the 2nd level of the garage and take a ticket and you only have so long before you’re charged to park. However, it’s worth it. Their beef and potato Empanadas are the best and they have a killer iced chai! Also, ask for extra salsa, you are going to want it!

A perfect place to try something unconventional. Dulce de Leche latte with a chicken and cheese empanada, and a Romeo and Juliet pastry filled withcream cheese and guava OMG!!! I don’t have the words to describe perfection in a flaky crust!!!

Best arepas I have had in Texas. Good empanadas too, the coffee is amazing as well. I haven’t tried the pastries but everything I have had is delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Maribel is a WONDERFUL, kind, sincere lady & a rare find. She appears to actually enjoy providing EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. The beef/potato empanada she said was the best selling empanada, was delicious & a perfectly sized meal (lite eater). ONLY $5.50 for this heavy bowl?! I chose to add avocado for 75 cents. Bowl is on 8' x 11' paper. NO WAY could I eat that much at one meal. SOOOO looking forward to lunch & to seeing sweet Maribel the next time I visit this hidden gem of a restaurant. 😋😋😋😋😋 My pic does NOT do the breakfast bowl justice.

Honestly, there was nothing really wrong with Espumoso (translates to "foaming")... except that it didn't meet my expectations. You see, i planned for days, then took a bus to Smoky Rose BBQ, only to find it defunct. An outdoor table blocked passage to the next-door Potbelly Sandwich Shop, so i went to the other next-door, Espumoso... intrigued because i saw a sidewalk sign that said "Street Tacos". I rolled in at a little past 4PM to be met with "The kitchen is closed... at 2:00." I'm guessing that the place mainly serves the lunch crowd from Baylor. They had some tired-looking empanadas in a glass case. Now desperate for Tex-Mex, but never having had an empanada, i confusedly selected a "ham & cheese" and a "beef & potato". I took 2 because they were little. I was a bit surprised when 2 little empanadas and a soda ruined a ten-dollar bill. I ate them there, with some tasty creamy salsa verde. And, there was a self-serve soda machine! Throughout, the guy behind the counter was extremely friendly and attentive. As soon as i got off the bus near my apt, i rolled straight to Tony's Neighborhood Store and bought 3 tacos al pastor, and over-ate to satisfy my craving for Tex-Mex.
