A group of us really enjoyed every dish we ordered at this family style restaurant. One thing is always true that the food tastes a lot better when served right after done cooking and we had tried chicken, shrimp, beef, fish and vegetarian dishes. For large groups a rotating tray (lazy Susan) would be more convenient. The price is reasonable. Not a complain since it is quite understandable, but the portion could be more generous.

Read the reviews of how authentic it is. I have no means of questioning the authenticity as my heritage is Korean but my 2 Chinese friends confirmed the food is very authentic to it's origin (Chengdu style). We ordered nearly over 8 entrees and everything was absolutely fantastic. Crispy beef, crispy chicken, pork with pepper, beef with pepper, and more. Even the general tso was great, no heavy breading and real chicken. I would drive 30 minutes out of my way to revisit here.

This is our family's go to chinese resto when we want a laid back yummy dinner. All their food is really so good, from their fried rice, noodles, kung pao chicken(we got this free in promo above 50usd free chicken) their pad thai, everything is great. Egg rolls and more. You call them up to make an order and it will be ready, fresh and yummy in 30minutes. It is well run restaurant with friendlyz efficient and fabulous staff. Thank you so much tasty 68! We were very surprised to find this authentic Chinese restaurant without having to head south toward Rockville as we usually do. It’s located directly off Rt. 27 at the corner of a bland, unassuming strip mall. The exterior is not exactly inviting, but you have to overlook it and get inside. Don’t judge the book by its cover, right? This is a hidden gem. The interior is spacious and clean, decently decorated. There are framed vintage photos on the wall, and a masterpiece calligraphic mural in Chinese which says “Heaven’s way: hard work shall be rewarded.” A great motto for the staff. The menu is really nicely done despite a prominent typo on the cover. It’s hard-bound, with pictures of featured dishes professionally rendered. The selection is vast, ranging from Americanized dishes to Thai curries. But if you’re here for the real [authentic] deal, skip straight to the second-to-the-last page!! Listed there are the classic Chengdu cuisine, their real specialties. On top of the list is C19 – Chengdu Spicy Chicken – a definite must. They use so much dried red chili pepper that the heat permeates through the tender juicy diced chicken. It’s a dish to die for! On the same page we also tried Cumin Beef, we all loved it as well. Other dishes we had on this visit: Pork with Shredded Bean Curd, Tofu with Vegetable, and Fried Rice. They are all good, notably not overly salty. I also love the fact that complimentary rice was provided on a big bowl. With so many appetizing dishes, I never had to worry about running out of rice. Service was superb. Staff were very friendly and polite. We were asked how we liked the dishes, tea was refilled promptly, and even the complimentary rice was refilled without being asked. I later found out that the chef was an award-winning chef back in Sichuan. Now it makes sense why the restaurant name in Chinese has his last name (Xie) on it, must be his trophy nickname. Anyway, that’s all the more reason for me to go back and check out more (Chengdu) dishes! A+

I had a very good experience dining in with the family. The place was really nice and clean also gives out an authentic vibe to the theme of the restaurant. I ended up trying the Singapore noodles which had a delicious taste of the fresh ingredients and spices. I would give it 5 stars but the reason there drinking options were limited not sure if the stock was low. The options they had were only orange fanta, mountain dew and Sprite.

The food here is really good. Sometimes the salt levels seems to vary (by chef, perhaps), but overall always pleasing to eat. The stand out dishes are the Cheng-du dishes (cheng-du chicken, cumin fish and cumin chicken, and chicken with scallions are the best on the menu). The prices have increased 30%+ over the past couple of years (way beyond inflation). I am hoping they plateau, as it is affecting how often we order. The main issue (why the rating is 4 stars) is that for delivery straight from the restaurant (not DoorDash or UberEats), there are A LOT of extra charges (a $20 order averages $4.15 in extra fees, including an "admin" fee, a bag fee that is 4x the amount of a Maryland bag charge, and one which is called a "driver fee"). However, the driver doesn't get that fee (the restaurant pockets it, as I was told by the driver) and so you are expected to tip 20% on top of the food cost and fees. On a $20 order, somehow you are expected to pay $28+. The restaurant really needs to drop the "driver fee" or give it to the driver.

We ate here for the first time yesterday on the recommendation of a friend. The food, flavors and the manner of preparation were all outstanding. This was perhaps the best Chinese meal I've ever had.

Love this place. When looking for authentic Chinese food, look no further than Tasty 68. Chicken w/ cashew was great as well as the Mongolian beef. I always get a wonton soup to go with as well. I look forward to trying more on their menu.

Absolutely delicious! We ordered the spicy cucumber salad, crispy beef, chengdu spicy squid, chengdu fish fillet, crispy tofu and basil eggplant. Everything was fantastic. Food came out quickly and staff was attentive and considerate.
