Nice staff at the front desk (dude named Adam. Folks in the kitchen are a bit serious and angry it seems, but that’s ok - kitchen folks don’t need to talk to customers usually).
It’s mainly a tourist hangout for guests of the Ritz Carlton nearby who are tired of paying $31 for a turkey sandwich there and walk here instead. Take-out took 30 min at 3pm on a random Sunday due to a long line of (*drunk*) hotel guests who decided lunch happens at 3pm after their buffet breakfasts in the morning were wearing off.
Nevertheless the sandwiches are good here and the beer is cold! I like the vibe and the quality of their crisp fresh produce on the sammys. Bread is super soft and not at all crispy or toasted - so make sure you’re ok with that.
I’m a local but still go and recommend it. Worth going just be prepared for lines of tourists sometimes. (FYI, if you are $$ conscious, do not go here. It’s pricey for what you get but that comes with the address being on Ritz Carlton Drive).
Chill atmosphere. Easy walk to Ritz. Polite, patient employees. Had a food allergy in our party they were great to work through menu. Monster sized sandwich.

Great sandwiches but the fresh crisp veggies they use definitely take it to another level. Great spot to grub after a day at the beach
This place rocks! Great food and they will make you right at home.. they even made me a few things that were not on the menu. It's a short walk from the Ritz-Carlton, and it's your best bet if you want to get off that property. I love this place great beer great beer selection, and really good sandwiches
The super salad with our own choice of greens is to die for - absolutely excellent, filling and a piece of art! Neither one of us added a protein but you do have that choice! Easy parking too.

Easy parking, delicious food, a decent draft beer selection and outdoor dining during COVID. They had great vegetarian options as well! The malibu hot sandwich is pictured here and was just what I was craving.

Yummy doesn't quite describe the sandwiches. They are more like delectable. My son nn I had a great sandwich experience here nn will definitely return. Every one is extremely friendly here.

Very nice location. Very clean restaurant. The outside is open for patio dining. My husband and I split the extra large sandwich, which was plenty!! It was delicious. They also serve salads and hot dogs. You can have your sandwich hot or cold. Very great customer service.
Great local place since 1981. Close to the beach and the Ritz. Get the Santa Cruz great sandwich. Staff is friendly.
