I came in and sat at the sushi bar and asked the sushi chef, Will, to make me whatever he wanted to make. I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied by the meal that I received, which included fish I have not tried previously and some really remarkable standards like tuna, hamachi, and unagi. Will was gracious, knowledgeable, and above all seemed to me to be very devoted to making me the best meal he could.
From the outside (and even from the menu) the restaurant seems like the standard American-Japanese joint: high end appointments, flashy food, not necessarily much to do with traditional Japanese food, but pandering to the crowd that likes crazy sushi rolls or hibachi dining- all of which is fine. But by sitting at the sushi bar and requesting what the chef wanted to make, I got a really remarkable and satisfying meal, as well as enjoying watching Will work and conversing with him. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who might be interested in this kind of dining.
Came here for happy hour and was very impressed with the quality of their sushi. Definitely recommend the sushi bar and drinks.
The food and service was very good. We were there for a graduation party... and had 35 people. 3 chefs.. 3 tables.. ALL on point
As always the food was great! The bartender always friendly and very helpful! Karaoke was off the charts tonight great Halloween party
Absolutely the best Sushi in our area. The rest of the food Hibachi etc is good too but the artwork and freshness of their sushi is unbeatable.
this place is very nice and the Habachi...awesome as well....great place to bring family or a night alone or a date.....
Service and food are outstanding! Their curry seafood soup was superb! Highly recommend!
Had hibachi the other night, food was really good and of course the chef was entertaining! Only wish he squirted more saki in our mouths lol
Just hubby and I at the table. Chef still put on a great show and the food was outstanding. Will definately be back!!
Love their Hibachi. The person in charge was very friendly and asked us to try the bar snacks. Been meaning to.
Loved the sushi and hot starters. Fish mains were cracking.
Both takeout and eat in are great, but eat in is where it really shines. Food quality is consistently good, presentation is excellent. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Seating arrangements are great in the restaurant. Recommend for eating in.
Since Google keeps on pestering me, here I am again.
Overall this place was great. Nice atmosphere, nice decor, food came out the way it's described. Nothing super outstanding, but it was a good experience. If you want a visual feel, this place was basically a cafe except restaurant food.
We were in the mood for some sushi and japanese cuisine and came across bambu. We were pleasently surprised with the food. We ordered the mango chicken and beef nagasaki. Each dish was perfectly prepared and delicious. The mango chicken pleased the palette with the spot on balance of sweet and heat. The beef nagasaki was savory and scrumpcious. We loved it so much that we ordered an additional mango shrimp
which was equally amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant
