Got the sampler appetizer for two, ordered the dynamite chicken with a side of rice, the dynamite shrimp with a side of chow mein and the generals chicken with fried rice. Only one of the dynamites made it into our order.
The food was mediocre as far as taste is concerned. It was quick but nothing spectacular and to be honest, very Americanized.
Traveling through the area, it was a pleasure to find a good Chinese food restaraunt. I liked it so much I went there two days in a row. The food is good and the staff is great.
If you're in Davis, stop by.
The best ,. This place rocks ,we live in Woodland and of course we have our favorite there (T.D.), but if we lived closer or in Davis this place would be a regular ,, best hot and sour soup ever and the deep fried pot stickers are to die for ,pork chow mien, garlic chicken , I could go on and on ,but I will continue to research ,cause ,you know its a dirty job but someone has to do it :)
Fast and friendly service. If you’re new to this place then staff recommendations are a good way to start. Food is delicious and authentic taste. We ordered the general chicken (orange chicken) and honey walnut shrimp. Both come with two choices of sides. We chose brown rice, steamed veggies, chow mein and white rice.
Service was great, and the food was really delicious. I had the teriyaki chicken, which came on a bed of noodles with onions. Tasted really fresh. My friend had the cashew chicken, which she says was really good. We also got a large rice to share, which did not come with the main meals; had to order rice separately. All of it came out within 10 minutes of ordering and it was all hot. Will be visiting again!
I love this place. It is so reliable and the staff is very pleasant and attentive. Even if you cannot sit inside, they are happy to help out. If you are able to sit inside, enjoy some clever art sprinkled about the place. If you are not able to, the food travels really well so grab some takeout! I always get the wonton soup and even that travels very well.
Wok of Flame has been a family favorite for many years. Recommend it to anyone who wants the best food.
We have been here a lot of time and it’s perfect for soup! Whenever it’s a rainy day and we’re craving soup, we come here for the super tasty soups. The other dishes are great too! Customer service is great and the staff is friendly.

Funny name combined with the culinary skill and courteous service to back it up! Sweet and savory dishes of many regions, all delectable. The salt & pepper green beans (asparagus too, in season) are tasty, and one of my favorite entrees is the Beijing Chicken. Also, the mushu dishes and the eggrolls are excellent!
I was positively surprised by this place. The service was nice, premises clean and staff very friendly. But the best part is that the food was delicious, they have tons of options and the amounts of food are incredibly high. All of this for a very cheap price! The 6 of us had dinner for only around $10 each. Highly recommended!
