If you are going to Daytona, the Starlite Diner on A1A is a great meal at great prices. I have eaten there just about every meal I've eaten since I arrived and I will continue to eat there until I leave town. Great food, GREAT waitresses, and at home atmosphere. You don't know what your missing!
Everything about this place is amazing. The food is great, as are the prices. Their milkshakes and sundaes are the best ive ever ate. The servers even have personality!
Service was fantastic. Was happy to see they serve Pork Roll. We had Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese sandwiches with a side of grits. Grits were hands down a 10 best I’ve ever had. Owner was very sociable and sat with us and talked N.J. till our food came. I highly recommend the Starlight Diner.

The Starlite diner is a must everytime I visit Daytona. Love the atmosphere. The food is always good with big portions. I got the Momas meatloaf. The price is fair. The staff is friendly and attentive.
Really impressed with the quality and quantity of food... We had the fish and shrimp and the Mushrooms Swiss burgers.

The food was amazing. When we got in, it was slow but it very quickly became packed and of course the servers will be a little bit slower but nothing to get upset about. Ayanna was very nice! Would definitely eat here again.
my daughter & I had breakfast at the Diner the other morning and we had a pleasant experience . we thought the breakfast was really good . next time we visit Daytona Beach we will be going back again to eat breakfast . we were seated right away & the staff was friendly.
We are there for the 1st time last year, started with dinner then went back the next morning for breakfast. It was all very good, good prices and service. We are back and that's were we once again ate dinner. We love this little diner and will visit a few more times before we leave.
Three days in a row! Eggs Benedict for me. French toast for my son. Their coffee is perfect. Ronda is a great waitress. We'll definitely be back.
What a gem! The five of us were greeted and sat immediately. Our server, Emily, made a quick job of making us feel comfortable and right at home. The menu is extremely varied so you are sure to find something yummy to satisfy every taste bud. The Cuban sandwich and mashed potatoes hit the spot. Then we decided to share a banana split( Emily put a lot of love in that dessert). So good but so big the 5 of us couldn't finish it. Will definitely be hitting the diner up for breakfast before going home. Be sure to ask for Emily(she's awesome).
After weeks of seafood up and down the coast, from Wilmington NC to Key West Florida, this iconic diner was a godsend. Down home cooking and every bite was delicious. My husband had the chopped steak with gravy and I chose fried chicken. I topped it off with apple pie ala mode, which was like manna from heaven. My husband had the key lime pie which was also great. You have to make sure you eat here if you come to Daytona. It will make your day!
First of all, just walking in, they welcomed you and you were taken care of the whole time! Top notch service and quick too. The food came out quick and was hot and delicious! One of the Best clam chowders ever! Amazing meatball sub too! And in such a cool, 50's retro diner! It was like an old street car! Great Daytona Beach diner! There's free street parking nearby... a must stop!
This was our first visit, definitely not the last! Michelle is the kind of waitress you come back for even when the food isn't that great... HOWEVER THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! if you like corn beef hash you have got to try theirs! Nina wasn't our waitress but we witnessed her cheerful personality and awesome service as well! LOVE THIS PLACE! LOVE THESE GIRLS! Pretty sure we will have breakfast here everyday of this vacation!
Very cool restaurant. Lots of cool and funny posters. The food is amazing. The seafood basket was very good. The fried mushrooms were good. The mashed potatoes are very good. The servers are very nice.
We had no reservation nor do you need one first come first served. We where told 20 mins for a table and it rook like 10. Our server was very friendly even though busy she would check in just as much as a good server with only two tables would do. Kitchen was backed up which meant certain orders took longer than others to get out.
**Atmosphere was very casual almost like a diner scene in one those movies.
**food was pretty darn good too my eggs were cooked just the way I wanted them the country fried steak had more batter than steak lol but nonetheless it was great my first time eating it so maybe am not the best judge.. so I think it's best you go and see for yourself.
Great food for a good value. Love the key lime pie! Milkshakes are amazing, too. Serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day.
