Friendly, Fun and Accomodating. We have been staying here for a week with another week to go for work. Great friendly staff. The bartenders are so friendly and have some great recommendations. They make great drinks too. The pool is fun with lots of room to lounge around, great beach access and the morning view each morning of the sunrise over the ocean is breathtaking.
Food is great, (room service is a bit too overpriced) but the quality of food is excellent. Great menu to choose from. I've had a variety of their dinner and breakfasts and have never been disappointed. Will definitely return again and highly recommend this hotel/restaurant to everyone!
This isn't a beach side hotel where only tourists are welcome. The Hotel Management welcomes locals, as well as tourists. Love the bartenders, and kitchen always pleases. All hotel staff make you feel welcome, and wanted.
This is a restaurant inside the Holiday Inn and open to the public. They have a very affordable menu, and a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. There was also a DJ there on the Saturday I stopped in playing a variety of great music. The server was high energy and friendly. The food was good. The view was beautiful. I parked in the lot and let them know I didn't have a tag but just wanted to visit the restaurant. The server said not to worry about it, there was no problem as I left within an hour. Something to mention to server if you drive here from another place though.
Maybe the best kept secret in Daytona. The Holiday Inn's restaurant has great food in a fantastic beach atmosphere. Sit on the patio overlooking the pool and beach, or inside in slick, glossy fresh environment. Food is GREAT and the service was quick.
BTW - I see a few reviews here concerning the manager/bartender being unfriendly. I don't think that's the case. It seemed to me that he isn't there to charm people or make new friends. He IS there to serve you quickly and efficiently, which he certainly does well. And when I complimented him on the place and the food he he was clearly happy to hear it and was quite gracious.
The food was wonderful, as were the views of the ocean. I sat out on their patio and had the sights and sounds of the ocean surf. I had a shrimp quesadilla and a "Build Your Own Burger" with all the fixings plus bacon. It was all for a taker reasonable price, to.
The staff were very good, to. Edwin was available most anytime I needed something, but without being overbearing at all. That is a fine line to keep for waiters and waitresses. Been there, done that, so I know.
You won't be sorry about you choice to eat here, ... at least from my experience.

Great place to sit and have a drink. Nice view to pool and the ocean too. Staff is very friendly and attentive. I can't say how the food is because we haven't eaten there yet, but heard it's good. Stop in and say hello to the bartender (Marla). She is very friendly, and informative.
