Have eaten there several times at both restaurants. Food has been very good every time. Had lasagna three times as it was so good. Also had breakfast on a few occasions. Omelet with potato's, fresh bread with all meals. Places were very clean, with the A1A location new as well. Service was very good. Seems as though the servers need their jobs and came to work. refreshing in this time. Thanks so much for having such a really good place to come to, with good food, good price, and good service. How can you beat that? Seems some people only write reviews when something went wrong. Not the case here. We'll be back when we come to your town.

EXCELLENT. I'm unsure if the other reviewers actually ate at Steves Diner or if they are commenting out of spite for other reasons?? We've eaten here several times over the last 2 mos. and every time and every meal has been wonderful! Chicken Parm is to die for! Soup, bread, and desserts are fabulous! The owners gave us a free loaf of homemade, fresh baked bread when they found out we were new to FL and made us feel very welcomed! This diner is not at all what you'd expect to find in a heavy tourist area, but instead a nice, friendly family owned diner with excellent service and food! We've probably had 20 different menu items and can honestly say all were superb! Burgers, fish and fries, gyro, beef and barley soup, eggs and pork chops, Greek salad, and meatloaf all 5 stars! My kids beg us to take them to Steves quiet often! There's thousands of places to eat in the Daytona area, yet we always go back to Steves.
My suggestion, give it a try because some of these negative reviews are completely unbelievable to me!

I'm in love. My boyfriend and I (from Ohio) visited Daytona Beach in March earlier this year and are still raving about this place! We ate dinner here the last evening of our trip, and I ordered the Greek lasagna. It has a hint of cinnamon (which might sound weird), but it's quite possibly the best lasagna I've ever had. I also had an omelet the next morning (we just had to come back once more), and it was also very awesome. The bread is baked fresh each day and it's to die for. We actually bought a loaf of it to take home with us. The prices are good, the portions are large, and the service is also very good- the waitresses/waiters are friendly and the food comes out decently fast. Also, the view from the restaurant is awesome!
We joked that if we didn't love our families so much, then we'd move to Florida just so we could eat at Steve's. I give this place an A+, and should we visit Daytona again, we'll definitely be back.

I liked Steve's diner. It was a tiny place with a lot of personality. It was a little pricey, but overall our service was excellent and the food was tasteful.
Great Diner!. Great breakfast! Been here several times and our favorite breakfast diner. Food comes out fast, delicious and always HOT!

Good Breakfast Value. Had a late breakfast here today and found it to be decent food for a good price. The homemade white bread toast was very good. The biscuits and sausage gravy were above average with a nice peppery taste. My ham and cheese omelet was fine, though the cheese was American (process) cheese, not one of my favorites. The grits were a bit bland, but with a bit of salt, pepper, and butter, they improved a lot. Service was good and fast and friendly. This is, I'd say, typical diner food found throughout the land. Just good eats. You know what you'll get when you walk in.
I will say that their desserts looked awesome. I'd like to try some one day.
This is one of the best places to get a really good meal for a reasonable price. Homemade bread and soups, nice service. Breakfast for 3 people for $30.
Steve's Diner, This was my first time back in 10 years or more. This place is as good as it was and better than ever. My guest and I were early for lunch and late for breakfast. We got served the meatloaf meal anyway, as fresh as could be, the bread was so fresh it hadn't had time to cut proper. Food was great and service was fantastic. Look, the prices are spot on and worth it. Steve's has been around a while, they deserve to be here forever. Thanks for Keeping the Service up. P.S. place was clean, masks were used. I felt comfortable.

Absolutely Delicious!!! Larissa and her staff always treat us like family. Even baking my favorite Muffins fresh for us. Pistachio Muffins yum. :) We love the food here. It is always tasty. The waitresses and friendly, warm and welcoming ❤️ See you next week 😁

Cooking style meal I’ve had in years. The bread is made from scratch and the barley beef soup was perfect. Ordered the chicken parm sandwich and it was done right!
