At the time of this review this place had 34 straight 5 star ratings. That about sums this place up. Great gelato!. The hazelnut is amazing. Prices are decent. If you go at an off time it's kinda kozy in there with soft Italian music playing. I'm a fan and will be back for sure.

I just came back from Taormina Sicily and was thrilled to find a local place that served gelato! I was even more thrilled when I saw the brioche!! This place reminds me exactly of the "bars" scattered all over Italy and sipping the cappuccino and eating my brioche with hazelnut and espresso gelato made me feel like I was right back in Italy!! I wish them the best of luck and continued success!!

I grew up in Italy and I can say with confidence, this is one of the best places to get real housemade artisanal gelato. Made daily with fresh ingredients. An hidden gem. Try it, you won't regret it. Best real gelato on Long Island in my modest opinion.

The gelato is to die for!! The people are friendly. There is a vast array of Italian delicacies. I only wish it was bigger and had more seating. That notwithstanding, I will definitely be back!

It's nestled in a strip mall on Deer Park Ave. in Deer Park. But when I walk into it I feel as if I'm back in Italy. Antonio, Michele, Massimo and the others speak Italian with me. You can order Panini's. I can get a cappuccino with soy milk. And Justyna told me that they will be making a lactose-free gelato in March with coconut milk. I am so excited about that.

The best place I have been to for Gelato since being in Italy! Each flavor I sampled was absolutely amazing. I settled for 4 different scoops and I can’t wait to go back. We first had a lobster tail dessert and espresso. Both were made to perfection! The he top flavors for gelato were caramel, Baci, Reese’s and an amazing chocolate with an orange syrup that was out of this world! Isabella served us with a passionate personality and style! We walked out with tubs of gelato and loaves of bread. Worth the trip from wherever you are!!!

Love this little cafe…some of the best cappuccino in the area and the gelato is really good too. We always stop in here when I’m the area and even make special trips there just because it’s great. They have a large selection of flavors for the coffees and nice selection of gelatos (for the warmer months). If you want milk alternatives they also have oat & almond milk which I think is great because even some restaurants don’t offer multiple milk options. This is a family owned shop and if you are a regular you are basically family. They know my father in laws order like the back of their hand and always welcome to u in with a warm smile. Can’t say enough about this place! Come support local business & family owned they are cool people.

Cute spot with a lot of options. Their gelatto is phenomenal. not a fan of the cookie butter coffee. But I tried the iced latte with butter pecan and it was pretty good. I look forward to trying other things on the menu because there are quite a few!

They have the best gelato and coffee on the Island. My favorite gelato flavors are the Tiramisu (has lady fingers in it), the Amarena and the Wildberries Mascarpone. The espresso is smooth and strong. The customer service is top notch. Lots of regular customers.

I absolutely love the homemade gelato at this location. They have a nice variety and it is always fresh and tasty 😋 And if you enjoy lattes and cappuccinos, you will be pleased with their coffee as well.

The gelato and lobster tails are perfection! And Tony is such a great guy. He absolutely goes the extra mile and it shows in the food. A small, perfect little spot that has the best pastries and gelato around

Fantastic cappuccino, good tiramisu, and the lady making/serving them is very nice and friendly. While we were there a guy came in who seemed to be the place owner.. and he didn't seem very nice. But I don't think he interacts with the customers.

What a unique idea to open an authentic Italian gelato / pastry coffee shop centrally located in a town that has been primarily Italian for 60 plus years. DOH!!! Why the hell didn't I think of it. This place could be plopped in the middle of little Italy and people would flock to it. Not that there is much of little Italy left. Got there around 8:00 after a great dinner just down the street. Very small place a few tables along one wall and 2 small tables outside. 3 of us ordered coffee and gilatos and grabbed one of the outdoor tables. By the time we got half way through the line was literally out the door. Tried to take a picture but battery in my phone died as I hit the button. Many Italian speaking people, it reminded me of my aunt Sarah's kitchen when our big family was over for dinner. Don't know what to say except GO!!!!! First reviewed this place 16 months ago. So glad to see so many 5 star reviews. Summer has returned to Long Island. Gelato/espresso is part of it.

BEST HOMEMADE FRESH GELATO! They have their signature flavors but they have fresh new flavors like today hade rainbow cookie gelato. They have the best tiramisu, biscotti and other great desserts. Cafe Italia is their own little Italy. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend trying them out if you haven't already. Always friendly staff.
