Have been here on several occasions and they never let me down. Food is always delicious. Servers are pleasant and fun to talk to. Highly recommend this place. I have also had my party catered and there was more than enough food for my guests!

Best Mexican restaurant around the area. Staff is super friendly, drinks are awesome and food taste great. It stomps Uno Mas into the ground. Come here for a great food and an overall good time.
Not only is the food absolutely delicious but the staff make the experience so delightful.. The carne asada is a must get along with the Tradicional margarita!! What a great combination !! Can't wait to go back....

Stopped in to this restaurant on this snowy night to visit Edgar, Carlos and the team! Service was great, as always, margarita exceeded expectations- you have to try the black Cadillac margarita (brad calls it the manly margarita as he first tried to order the "skinny girl margarita ")! I'll definitely be back!

It has excellent food and music ... the cucumber and jalapeño margaritas are to kill for, I love the warm feeling of the traditional Mexican cuisine, and the way you feel welcome every time you visit ... it feels like I'm going back home for few hours �

My family and I loved this place. The service was really top notch and the food was wonderful!!! The servings are of good portions and the taste is really authentic. The guacamole and the fried dough appetizers are a must. If you're passing through or live in this area don't miss this place!!!
A very nice sit down restaurant in Deerfield. It has a real family/ romantic setting. The drinks are delicious and all the staff are friendly.

Friendly service and a lot of variety. I had a sampler platter that was delish. It came with some tamale like dish that was quite good. The chicken soup was a nice starter. Fajitas were a huge mound of beef with lots of green peppers and onions caramelized perfectly.
Great place to unwind after work, host a corporate party, or hangout with family and friends! Their fajitas are great - especially Fajitas El Rey!

The food is pretty good. It takes a pretty long time for the servers to bring our food though. The bathrooms are somewhat clean. Their guacamole is top notch. It tastes amazing. Probably the best gauc I’ve ever had. I would recommend this place for a party or a small group.
We're glad we found this place. Everything is fresh and there are warm tortilla chips and homemade salsa put on your table the moment you sit down. The best guacamole my wife has ever had. We all loved our dishes: enchiladas, steak, burrito...all good. You can get delicious vegetables on the side instead of rice and beans if you want. Service was warm and efficient.
4 p.m Sunday, we were the first to sit there, the staff was very friendly, smiling and willing to explain everything. Wanted to try the different salsas they had, they gave us samples of everything without hesitation and no charge. The food was quick to the table, the drinks were good and overall great experience.
I went there after work with colleagues for happy hour after trying a couple other local Mexican restaurants (either very expensive or not so great), and was thrilled.
The Margaritas are FANTASTIC! Very tasty and they don't skimp.
The food is great too -- ceviche, tamales, burrito -- all excellent and reasonably priced.
I've been back twice in the last month after my first visit. Highly recommended.
Great Margaritas, Mediocre Mexican food.
I cant say much beyond its exactly what I expected. I would have given it three stars but they pour one heck of a Margarita here. during happy hour (4-6pm Tues-Fri) they sell them for 6$. A great value.
They also have a small happy hour menu with 5$ appetizers, of the ones I have had none have been good, but all have been acceptable salty compliments to the margaritas.
If you are looking for amazing Mexican food, go elsewhere, but if you want a quick bite, and a nice drink this is a great place for it.
Discovering this gem for lunch has changed my view of Mexican food in the Chicago area. It is delicious and more traditional than most places serving typical fajitas and burritos. The food is very authentic and absolutely delicious. I especially loved the chips. I will definitely return for lunch or dinner. The waitstaff was particularly helpful in explaining menu items to us and they are all very friendly. There is also a private room for group functions, which I would consider if I am planning an event. Parking is plentiful.
The food was good, however the service could have been better. Our server was not to blame. Simply put there should have been another waitress or waiter on the floor with him. He was triple and than quad sat in a period of 20 mins and the struggle from his end was obvious.
Went here based only on an online review. I was a little hesitant since the area is mostly filled with cookie cutter chains. I was pleasantly surprised. Nice folks, good food slightly different, but totally delish, and a margarita that I could actually taste the tequila! We'll be back for sure.
We attended for a coworkers going away happy hour event. Our waiters were friendly & fast. The food is decent & pretty traditional Mexican with a hint of Tex-Mex. we had a great time. Would definitely go again.
Solid lunch with some enchiladas and the service was fast. A bit too early to determine if other menu options are as tasty. Love the fact they very vegetarian friendly since most food options include mushrooms, cheese, etc.
Always a delicious meal... Best though is the warm welcome. I really enjoy having a meal here... It's like family to me. It's my understanding the entire menu was created by Carlos mother... real home cooked meals here. My favorite are the shrimp cocktail and cucumber jalapeño margaritas. I have had their soups... They a delicious. My family enjoyed their entire menu over the several times being here. Children friendly adult exclusive as well. For a very cordial restaurant in Deerfield I highly recommend this place.
