We totally enjoyed having a special frosty treat in this quaint, old-fashioned ice cream parlor.
A quaint, old fashioned ice cream parlor in the Historic Castle Inn. Nice to see the space being used and enjoyed. DWG needs more life like this on Main Street!
Happened upon this really cute ice cream place this morning while walking around town. Stopped in because I shared the name! It was a really nice place with great ice cream (I had the mint). And a shout out to Diane, who was working this weekend - what a lovely woman! She took good care of us and was so nice! We plan to be back when we're next in town!
Take a minute to step back in time. Great place to stop for a bite to eat or some delicious icecream. You can recieved a discount if you're riding the pocono trolley tour which makes it even better. Great service.
Second visit here and it is superb. Last visit was for a shared cone and this time was for a sundae with sugar free chocolate syrup, walnuts topping over vanilla and strawberry scoops. The gentleman is kind and polite. I like the cafe because it provides an antique look and it's a quaint atmosphere.
I’m an AT thru hiker who also happens to be vegan. This place has great vegan options, including a vegan breakfast scramble and some vegan ice creams. I heard from my non vegan friends that their non vegan options were good too. Friendly service and a cool atmosphere.
I’ve had multiple exceptional visits to this extravagant ice cream shop, and there have been a few times where my order was fulfilled by a young, polite man named Keane. His manners were unmatched by any of his coworkers, and for the remainder of the time I spent at the establishment, my party was treated with kindness like I’d never seen. Employees like him should be rewarded more heavily with better compensation. Praise the lord for blessing us with such a fine young gentleman.
BEST SERVICE EVER!!! My server was the best, his name was Keane and he was AMAZING. He fulfilled all my needs and expectations. He was amazing with my entire party and treated us like we were gods. Whatever your amazing staff is getting paid it should be double. GREAT STAFF!!!!!
I have recently visited this establishment and to say the least it was amazing. The food and ice cream exceeded my expectations and the service was fantabulous. My waiter Keane was exceptionally well mannered and amazingly well spoken. He was very kind to me and my kids and the best waiter we have ever had. We got everything on time and we’re treated like VIP’s. Thank you for the amazing service and your employees are the best.
Great old-fashioned ice cream parlor. Didn't know they have lunch there also- next time. Worth going a little off the beaten trail.
Great ice cream! Would recommend the strawberry or vanilla.
Great place. We enjoyed lunch & ice cream after our hike on the Appalachian trail. Very reasonably priced & friendly staff.
I’m so delighted to be able to share my wonderful experience at this shop. The employees are exceptional and I have never had such amazing service, especially from an employee named Keane. BEST WORKER!! Great attention to costumers. They deserve more.
Ice cream is always on point and anything you order from the menu is scrumptious Ellie the cook is a gem
Great ice cream parlor! Perfect for anyone going through the trails or passing by. We didnt get a chance to do the tour but next we will!
Nice shop, good ice cream. I was expecting more variety, only six ice cream flavors. Butter Pecan was listed as sugar free, the menu on the website says no sugar added. Be nice if that had a sugar and a no sugar version, it's my favorite flavor but I went with Vanilla. Give the hall a walk through and go around back to see the Castle Inn.
We went hiking to the mountains and when we were looking for something to eat or drink we found this beautiful spot. First time there. Beautiful place and the ice creams are delicious. I loved the decorations plus they have all the necessary protection when serving to people during this covid times.
A large group of friends and myself came in five minutes before close after an exhausting hike up to Mt. Minsi. Despite this, the gentleman behind the counter served us all cordially and patiently well past the shop's time of closing. The ice cream was delicious and the atmosphere was fun and charming. I'll definitely be back!
The decor of the ice cream shop is definitely old fashioned, vintage. We were on vacation and the place was getting ready to close and Mark was nice enough to serve us. My son opted for orange sherbet, I had vanilla ice cream on a Belgium waffle and my husband, a brownie sundae. Everything was delicious!
We LOVE coming here and make special day trips just to get out in nature and always take a pit stop at Zoe's and the antique stores around it. We stubbled upon this cute little café 2 years ago and have been coming twice a year ever since! We love hiking and then coming in for a warm tea or coffee. Their ice cream sundaes are great! The entire place is super cute and we like to think of it as our little secret spot! We can't wait till you open again!
We stopped here after tubing the upper Delaware. The ice cream was awesome!!! The flavor we had was a special of the day and we can't remember the name. It was old-fashioned vanilla, with chocolate and fudge something. I would travel up there from the Lehigh Valley any day to have that again! Thanks for the perfect ending to a great day.
