Enjoyable atmosphere, good music. We ordered brisket nachos, white queso , taco plate. Taco meat seasoning was Really delicious.
The 2 complimentary house dips alone are great! We had a fantastic server Jason. Good sweet tea.
Place was understaffed so a long wait time. But once finally seated it went quick. Food was good. Margaritas were better!
Whoever the man with the glasses and the green shirt was working behind the bar and taking to-go orders on Tuesday 06/07/2022, PAY HIM MORE. One of the best servers I’ve ever had. We made a to-go order with him, and he served us our drinks ahead of time, served us chips, made sure we had some refills before we got our order. Very pleasant! I really hope he got our tip (I had to tip with my card). He absolutely made my day and I hope to be served by him in the future!
I finally got to visit The Jalapeno Tree! We did have a bit of a wait to be seated but the food was excellent. I got enchiladas and hot tamale and two vegetable sides. Our waitress was so cheerful!
Food was really good, service once seated was good and friendly. It seems that this place like many others is having trouble finding servers. I don't understand why, if as a server my average tip per table is 10 dollars and I have 5 tables and I turn those every hour, thats 50 bucks an hour. My bill the day we went was 90 bucks for 3 of us and we actually sat at the table for 50 minutes, my tip was 18 dollars, pretty good money for anyone. If you want that guaranteed 15 an hour just explain that to the owner and turn in all your tips to them, I would take you up on it in a minute as the manager or owner, heck let's make it 20. Minus 1 star for a sticky spot on our table that the server cleaned for us after seating.
