Loved the food, tacos and the queso on the enchiladas was heavenly!!!! Oh and the margarita's were really good and only $2.50 at happy hour!!!! Great place, will be back!!!
Girasoles catered my sons wedding rehearsal dinner. Excellent food. Everyone was very impressed w the meal. Some local people had never heard of Girasoles. They will now become regulars I believe!

Fabulous, quality Mexican food, great service. This is absolutely, without question, the best Mexican restaurant in this area! We have tried many, many items on the menu, and have had super meals every time. The guacamole is no corners cut and delicious.
The salsa is quite savory. Try the cheesecake chimichanga for a delightful dessert...they also often have homeade flan.
My daughter and I eat here at least once if not twice a week. lol We love their food. Everything is so fresh. I have never tried something here that I didnt like. Highly recommended it. OH and you have to have a margarita.
I've dined here several times and have never had a less-than-stellar dish. Menu features typical Tex-Mex fare, freshly-made in-house that morning. The brisket tacos have just the right amount of kick and the hand-poured pineapple margaritas (on the rocks) are on point, as well. You've got a run for your money, Kent's!

We had chicken fajitas and they were great. Plenty of meat. Family owned and service was fast and friendly. From Norman, Ok.
The food here is consistent. Always fresh. The beef is freshly ground and nothing is ever frozen, except the margaritas 😊. They use real cheese and the salsa is always spot on. The waitstaff and cooks will treat you like family. ❤️🌮🌯👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 I love the grilled shrimp salad with huge shrimp and avocado slices and sometimes with the carne asada.

By far the best Mexican food around! The queso is delicious, addictive salsa, spiced just right chicken or beef entrees as well as Veggie options- love the garden burrito, great guacamole, amazing margaritas, and friendly staff! I have yet to have anything less than a wonderful meal at Girasoles!!!
First time here and I really enjoyed it. The chicken flautas had lots of chicken and were seasoned well. They came with guacamole and sour cream. Beans were good. I will be back!

This place is AMAZING. First of all, Yelp must be rigged because it has a 96% on urbanspoon after 50 reviews, and 66% after 3 reviews on Yelp. Yelp is dead wrong.
We came in at 2:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday, and there were already 4 tables for one server. He was probably the best server we've ever had. We got everything we wanted or needed, and quickly.
Chips and salsa? Amazing. It tastes so fresh. A bit of spice but the perfect amount. After 6 chips, you just can't stop. They're so good.
We also ordered margaritas. The server suggested that we not order regular margaritas, but rather one of their made-fresh varieties, like orange, pineapple, grapefruit, or hibiscus. My wife got pineapple and I got hibiscus. I don't say this haphazardly, but these were the best margaritas either of us have ever had. We've had margaritas at the best restaurants in Houston, Albuquerque, and anywhere just east of Dallas, but we've never had margaritas this good. They complimented the chips and salsa perfectly.
And the food was incredible as well. I personally prefer the sour cream sauce at a family restaurant in our hometown of Commerce, TX, but this was a close second. My wife said it was the best Texmex she's ever had, bar none.
We are definitely coming back, and probably even tonight while we are still in Denison. Twice in one day isn't nearly enough for this place.
FYI, she had the number 1 combo dinner with double rice, and I ordered three enchiladas (one with enchilada sauce, one with sour cream source, and one with salsa verde) with double rice.

Great experience. My uncle suggested we go there for lunch. He has been eating there for a long time and we are from Oklahoma so we tried it. It was absolutely great. I said I wish they were close by because I would be frequenting them regularly.

So Close and So good. Have lived 6 blocks from this place for years and never tried it. After reading the reviews on Urbanspoon , we decided to give it a try. So glad we did! The food was excellent. I had the carnitas and my wife had the chicken fajitas. The thing that impressed me was the amount of peppers and onions on my wife's fajitas. Most places skimp on these, but not here.She also had the tortilla soup and said it was the best she ever had. All the food was excellent and so was the service. I will definitely be going back.
Dinner review. Excellent!!! Everything was awesome. Food was great, margs were freshly made and they even let you taste test. The hibiscus was to die for! Service was incredible, will be back. Bravo!

We'll be back. Have to admit, the chips scared me. Kinda stale bagged tasting chips. But the salsa was good so I tried to keep my hopes up. Then the queso arrived. A nice white farmer's cheese, no velvetta! Now we're talking. I had the carne asada. Very tasty and had a cheese enchillada hiding underneath. Not sure if that was on purpose or not. My wife had the cheese enchilada's (No asada hiding underneath). Very nice with a specially spiced sauce. Didn't really have room but we ordered deserts anyway. The sopapilla was different than any I've ever seen but was delish and huge. My flan was quite good as well but next time I think we'll just go double on the sopapilla. Service couldn't have been nicer. Huge improvement over the cuban place that was there.

The food was good, usually when I go somewhere to eat, they say that the plates are hot, when in fact it's barely warm, but they ain't kidding here, burnt my fingers touching the plate, our waitress took very good care of us, best thing I seen being my first time there was the insane amount of food you get for the price and I do believe that they have the cheapest drinks around. Knocked one star off because of the salsa being severely hot(spice wise) and their cheese dip was very bland(at least to me) other than that the rest of the meal was amazing.
The place was nice and clean. Staff was very welcoming. The food was great. Staff seemed very busy and could use a hand. But they where able to get everything done. We talked and didn’t mind the wait. Will visit again.
After 7 years in Texas I have finally found Mexican Cuisine that I love. Great service, atmosphere and great food. For the hungry man, I highly recommend the "Texas Burrito." I opted for it to be topped with green sauce in lieu cheese sauce and could had had it made to order which I didn't do. Filled with Carne Asada, Carnitas, Chicken, Beans, Rice, Guacamole, Sour Cream, Cheese and Pico de Gallo. A hearty meal weighing by my estimation to be in the range of about 4+ pounds of deliciousness. This gargantuan of a burrito is the best I have EVER had and Girasoles Mexican Food will become a regularly Restaurant for me in the future.
Wow!!! The food is just so great. They have authentic Mexican food that is made to perfection. I will be coming back a lot and bringing my friends and family too. If you like real Mexican food then you have to try this place. It's amazing.
Never disappoints! Chile Verde burrito is my favorite. So tender and flavorful. Their Carne asada is very good as well.
