So my husband & I visited this restaurant upon a recommendation from a colleague & it did not disappoint! I’m not aware of who the celebrity chef is as noted by some of the previous reviews but from the moment I walked in the staff was friendly, professional & it was evident they had been highly trained. The ambience was everything I expected & more, but the food, so I’m a picky eater & usually not into trying new things but since we were there to celebrate my birthday I decided what the hell. I had the red chili marinated shrimp � & it was absolutely delicious, for my main course I then had the beef tenderloin steak w/golden Yukon mashed potatoes & asparagus, both the steak & mashed potatoes literally melted in my mouth. I couldn’t have asked for a better meal, our server was very knowledgeable concerning the menu, you are served by the staff which was quite nice & it’s fairly quite & peaceful inside. I would highly recommend this establishment & I think my husband & I will have to make this a monthly must for us. Thanks again Queenie’s for the exceptional experience!
Went for a belated Father's Day Dinner with my two sons. Service was impeccable, the wine service was great, they explained every choice and made recommendations. The food was out of this world. Would highly recommend Queenie's, can't wait to return.
wonderful dinner tonight celebrating our daughters birthday. Sean our server was fantastic and the tomahawk wagyu beef ribeye was unbelievable. Everything from the valet on was outstanding. Thanks for a great night, Queenies!
The most perfect birthday dinner in 48 years. My husband surprised me with reservations and we loved every minute of our evening. The food was amazing - and we tried a LOT of it. My favorite dish was the orecchiette, my husband loved the truffled mac and cheese. But every plate that came to the table was delicious. The staff was incredible. Chelsea waited on us and answered all of our questions and took very good care of us. We've already made reservations for our anniversary next month. Thanks for a spectacular celebration meal.
Great atmosphere- nice without being stuffy- friendly staff, and amazing food. We wanted a special place for our anniversary and we found it...above and beyond our expectations. Thank you to our waitress Chelsea for making it wonderful. I have been to celebrity chef restaurants before and usually leave disappointed (food too expensive for what it is, obnoxious atmosphere, unfriendly staff)...not so here. We will be back.

Yummy all around and a really nice romantic place to eat in Denton! Try the Colorado Trout and any of the other menu items. Pork Belly is so yummy....
Staff was great! Steak was excellent! And so was the special dessert...donuts and three dipping sauces. Yummy! Great place to celebrate a special occasion.
Queenies is one my favorites. Elegant food and atmosphere, but at the same time casual. Their cocktails are great and the seasoning on their steaks is the best!
This Resturant is incredible. The atmosphere and people are wonderful, but the food was the best I have ever tasted. We will definitely be back for more.

Excellent!. We were on a double date and none of us are used to being in fancy restaurants; the staff treated us like any other fancy restaurant goer! They were super awesome and the steaks were phenomenal!! Highly recommended!!!
Totally Unexpected. We found Queenie's on Urbanspoon, looking for something besides our usual Mexican fare. Queenie's is much, much nicer that we expected and would be ideal for a special occasion. Our random Friday night dinner was a true treat tonight. They have live jazz, fantastic food and you absolutely must try the jalapeno and cucumber margarita. We can't wait to return and bring friends.
Unique sides and appetizers make for a fun dining experience. The waitress was the most knowledgeable and informed about the menu I have run across in 20 years great job. The steak was perfectly cooked and all in all a great evening. I'm not used to having to have reservations but if you to eat in the dining room you should definitely make them we ate in the bar area which was fine but for a more formal meal you'll want to be seated in the dining room.
My steak was cooked to perfection ordered the fillet as did the rest of my table and I can say it was cooked to a perfect medium rare and they were delicious our sides were cooked to perfection. now to the stuff that was not so good the waitstaff For the price of the food they should know the wines the menu inside and out. The desert I had was not very good unfortunately they need to make sure the desert is outstanding and homemade. it is a new restaurants give them a little time and ill try it again that was about it. everything else was perfect.
Love this place! Great atmosphere. I ordered the chicken fried whole lobster and it was to die for!

Went for our anniversary dinner and had a great experience! Waiter was patient and explained things and answered all our questions. We ordered drinks, a few different appetizers, one entree each, and shared a side (sides are pretty big) and dessert. My favorite was the grilled oyster appetizer - the Serrano lime butter sauce was amazing and the Serrano pepper gave it a nice kick while still being light and refreshingly tasty. The entrees were good too, meat cooked perfectly. Definitely a place for a nice long sit down meal - took us a couple hours to get through all the courses. Perfect if you are looking for a dinner experience and want to enjoy a relaxing night out. Only complaint is that because the restaurant is in some kind of congested warehouse, sound carries a lot and makes it a pretty noisy dining environment, not what you’d expect from a high end steakhouse. Not the place to go if you want a quite, private feeling ambience. But the great service and delicious food made it worth it. And especially since there aren’t many nice places to eat out in the college town area, this place was a fun treat😊 Definitely recommend! And plan to go there again for another celebration day.
Food coma. The rabbit/rattlesnake sausage, the corn chowder, the mushrooms, asparagus, buffalo ribeye… so delicious! Oh my and the cocktails! I didn’t love the shrimp appetizer- a little more fishy tasting than I like my shrimp, but my boyfriend liked them. Excellent service with a smile. Really enjoyed my birthday dinner here!
Had an excellent time and enjoyed the melody of flavors. Queenie's isn't just a standard steakhouse but focuses on chef inspired dishes that are worth the trip. We enjoyed the night's specials and some standard fare. DELICIOUS
