If you haven't eaten here, do yourself a favor, drop everything, and go. I highly recommend the falafel, it is out of this world good, as well as the hummus, baba ghanoush, and pita. The owner is also a sincerely nice guy, as well as the friendly and creative staff (shout out to Mike, keep it spicy, my friend.)
Yummy's has been a Denton institution for over 10 years. If you haven't been a guest of Yummy's, go today-you will not regret it!!! The food is made with the freshest ingredients and has great, authentic flavor. There is something on the menu for everyone. The staff is friendly. Reasonable prices. Even has a small patio for beautiful North Texas days. Time to get Yummy's in your tummy!
My friend and I had a lovely dinner followed by a very informative conversation with two of the staff members about the meaning of "Baba Ganoush" and it was awesome! The food was wonderful as always and the staff was warm and entertaining! Thank you for a very pleasant evening!
Tried the Greek Salad with chicken and all I can say is WOW!!! It was honestly one of the best salads I've ever had and I will stop here every time I'm in Denton now!!! So delicious!

Was the first time I have had Greek food and I loved it. I am from the Houston area but will gladly come back when I get the chance.
Delicious Greek restaurant! It is in a tiny strip of stores, so very easy to miss. We went around 6 on a Monday night, and they had a steady stream of customers the whole time. We ordered a cup of the lentil soup and the yummy combo, which came with a delicious side salad. The soup was great, and the combo was perfect for us to share. It had delicious kofta, hummus, a parsley (?) salad etc etc. The pita was soft and fluffy. We will definitely be back!
This is a great example of Greek food and per inflation prices for lunch. My wife has eatn here for years and now I'm a fan aswell. I was more than pleased to tip 7 bucks on 25 dollar lunch for 2 with desert... I'd recommend this place for a business or couples lunch for 2. Not a big place so if your part is more than 6 do take out. IT IS GOOD!!!!
I’ve been eating here since I was a little girl and it’s still my favorite place in Denton for Mediterranean style eats. I’ve literally never been disappointed with the food here. You can’t go wrong with a gyro and pita with hummus or some dolmas. And I definitely suggest saving room for dessert.
So good!!! We have been multiple times, as it is close to work. Quick lunch and you feel like your sitting in grandmas kitchen while she fixes up great Greek food!

This is the kind of place you want to get a gyro from - hole in the wall with an owner operator that's friendly and cares about customers. Portions are perfect and you cannot beat the price.
I LOVE the specials - gyro, hummus w/ pita, and fried zucchini for $9.99 (there are many combinations available). The places in my area are around $17 for a gyro, fries, and drink. I would certainly be a weekly regular if I were closer.
These guys serve great. I have been going to this restaurant for close to a year now and the food quality is always right up there. I'm a big fan of their gyros. And their special board is excellent especially if you are getting a togo order.
