I love this place so much it is my first stop from the airport after I land. Service is impeccable- staff are incredibly warm and friendly. As I am usually there by myself, they make me feel welcome like family. They never rush you. If you can get them (they aren’t always available), the grilled artichokes are to die for!! But the thing that wakes me up at night with a midnight craving- the Thai noodle salad (I get mine with chicken). Beyond words. Just the right amount of dressing. And it has a little bit of everything in it- it is colorful and well balanced. My only (very minor) complaint is that all their red wines are from the US. For those of us who can’t drink US wines, it’s a bit of a disappointment but they new have non-US white wines which go perfectly with the noodle salad. I highly recommend dinner here.
Great vibe, craft drinks and delicious food. I’ve attended many happy hours here or meeting up with clients and I can say that they have very delicious food and great service. I always get their French dip because I don’t think you can find a better one in Denver. However, if that’s not your thing, their menu has something for everyone. Oh, if it’s season, get the grilled artichoke! Enjoy!
A wonderful and luxurious late lunch. We had the mango tuna sushi roll, the smoked salmon starter and deviled eggs, and a walnut brownie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Everything was delicious, our sever, Sarah, was delightful and anticipated our every need. The atmosphere of the entire restaurant is casual elegance. We’d definitely return.
The Mid century modern space is exceptional for a meal. Wide, comfortable, and perfect lighting. Did not have a reservation (recommended) but it the bar area was a nice place to get started.
The food is elevated Americana. Definitely recommend the grilled artichokes & the famous french dip. Prices match the area $$$$ but ingredients are quality and portions are generous. Surprised by the Osaka style pressed sushi, it’s like nigiri meets Japanese konbini sandwich, very tasty!
I will say that immediately upon entering there was a sense of being sized up since this place is higher end. Never mind though, eaters gotta eat! The service was very much “the customer is always right” so our needs were taken care of swiftly and then some.
All in all a fine dining experience.
We are traveling around Colorado from Chicago and decided to do a Hillstone tour since we don’t have the brand at home- we went to Cherry Creek Grill, White House Tavern in Aspen, and this location over the last week or so. We appreciate the continuity in service, atmosphere, and food quality.
However, today I ordered the Hawaiian ribeye and it had about a 6 inch long piece of gristle or silver skin that I could not cut through, rendering about 1/3 of my steak inedible. We took home about half of what I was able to cut through as leftovers. I did not want a new steak, but we raised the concern to our server who said they would let the chef know. A passing busser saw we had our check and removed the plate minutes later with no action from management.
At CCG last week, without complaint, we were apologized to profusely by the chef for being sat 15 minutes after our reservation time and he had comped our appetizers and visited us multiple times throughout the meal. Our experience at this location is a just a contrast to that.
We recently did a small holiday dinner for our management team here and we had a great time. The service was incredible- Our waiter had great suggestions for us- From the grilled artichokes, pressed sushi (try it if you can), and drinks, it was the perfect meal!
Cons: Parking can be a bit of a nightmare. Leave yourself some time to park and walk over, if needed.
Went here with 2 of my friends and our meal was spectacular. Manny, our server was friendly and experienced. Excellent service from start to finish. The food was delicious. They also have several gluten free options!
The waitstaff at this restaurant are great. The bartenders truly know their trade, and the food left nothing to be desired. This was one of the best meals I’ve had in quite a long time.
I had dinner here and started with the cocktail "The Crush", a vodka drink. I liked it well enough to have two. I then ordered sushi, the Thai Tuna roll, which I enjoyed. Good wait service and nice atmosphere. Being able to park behind the restaurant in their lot was a bonus instead of paid street parking.
Fabulous! Reservations recommended, but we were seated pretty quickly for lunch even though we didn't have a reservation and they were quite busy. The parking lot is quite small and a bit of a tight squeeze, so you might consider the nearby garage and have a stroll, weather permitting. We were given a beautiful table. I got the Thai beef salad, hubs got the sashimi and kale salad with the rosemary bread starter. Everything was wonderful. Finished the meal with tea and coffee. My earl grey was delicious and hubs cappuccino was perfect. The service is exceptional, the atmosphere casually elegant and modern, the food was very good. Definitely recommend this place & we'll be back for sure as there are several more dishes we'd like to try.
