SUPERB!!!!! Finally, a true culinary restaurant in Denver! Last time we tasted food of this caliber, it was in the finest restaurants of Portland OR, THE food town USA! Now, we have a place here in our town that offers such AMAZING dishes, and best of all, it does not cost you nowhere near as much as you would have to pay in places you normally get such things... To summarize our visit in one word, I would say PERFECTION! From the moment we walked in, till we left, everything was SPOT ON! The service, courtesy of the BEST (and sweetest/most courteous) server ever, Sidney! Who made us feel very special knowing it was our first time, and we were on an anniversary brunch. She was simply AWESOME! Keep in mind, she wasn't just nice with us, she was like that with everyone. Also, her recommendations were spot on! The food, which was a masterpiece, courtesy of one of the most talented chefs I have ever known, Collins. I have to say, it was so refreshing to see how he puts his personal touch in every dish, especially with him being Cajun, which gives it a kick! What an artist! They make everything in the house, even the hot sauce! Not only the taste of his food would melt your face, but the presentation, and how it looked (before I destroyed it 😄), was just as delicious! (for your eyes😳) Take a look at the pictures I attached, and you'll see what I mean. Oh, and the food came out VERY fast!!! That was great, especially since we were very hungry! The drinks, courtesy of the lovely lady who greeted us at the door, which I unfortunately didn't get the name of...were VERY refreshing! We ordered the mimosa flight, and they were CRISP, FRESH, DELISH, GORGEOUS, and full of alcohol, which went very well with my wife! 😄 Also, they make the juices they use for the drinks, fresh in house!!! I can go on and on, but I will just stop and leave it at this, we can't wait to go back... Thank you! Kevin

Yoooo it’s the experience for me. Today was made especially special for my girlfriends birthday and might I say we had a wonderful time. So thankful for Megan and Sarah were incredible and fantastic. This was an incredible experience from the best banana foster French toast to the veggie grits , it was all delicious. But moreover the service was professional, caring and truly attentive. We will be back soon. And shout out to an amazing chef Mr. Mallet Dude this was the bomb.com

This place is delightful! It reminds me a lot of Lucile’s , but with different types plates. We had to have the mimosa and Bloody Mary flights! So delicious! Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of them! The pimento cheese chicken biscuit was amazing. The buffalo hash was not as good as expected, but still enjoyable. We will certainly be coming back soon!

This place was great! The blackened chicken mac was fantastic but if you're not a fan of stinky cheese you're not going to like it. The homemade hot sauces were awesome too, I couldn't decide which one I liked more. There were several things on the menu that looked really good so I'll definitely be back!

This is a very pleasant, Southern US-themed restaurant on East Colfax, within steps from the Colorado State Capitol. I was a bit surprised by the exterior of the restaurant, which was in stark contrast to the bright and welcoming interior. Party of two on a Friday lunch, and we were seated at the counter upon arrival. Ordered the Jambalaya with chicken, and the Pain Perdu, both very tasty and in good portions enough to share. Didn't have any drinks, but other customers seemed to be enjoying theirs. Recommended!

We had a great time here, our waiter was fun, and the food is great. We had the boudin balls (very good), banana fosters French toast 😋 (also very good), deep south Benedict w/ sweet potato hash, grillades grits, Buffalo hash w/ fried egg, and short rib Mac. There was some collard greens in the dishes...that alone I wish I had ordered an extra side plate of.

This place is the reinvention of the former restaurant to occupy this space-- Sassafras. I was told that the chef/owner of Exile was the chef for the Sassafras team. The menu and the decor are pretty much the same. There are some super tasty new savory brunch options. Also, the beverage choices have expanded. We enjoyed starting with beignets, followed by Grillades (short ribs) & Grits as well as the Green Tomato Benedict. It was awesome. Service was outstanding too, cheerful and quick. The coffee never got empty. We'll be back, quicker than a trip to New Orleans.

Great food at a very reasonable price for the large portions you get. People we were with are from New Orleans and said this is just like from home. The Mimosa's (did two different types) were awesome.

This was a great experience. Food was amazing, our servers were super nice, overall we had a great time. My cousin got married the day before so about 30 of us met for brunch here. We had reservations and the staff was really accommodating. I hope I can fly back to Denver and visit again!

I had jambalaya. It was decent. Spicy hot but a touch too salty and dry. Parking was in the street, around the corner, and down the block. Seating was fast and easy for a Saturday morning. Staff was very friendly. Service was decent. Beignets were good. Good overall experience.
