My hubby and I recently moved from Florida and we were trying to find an Indian cuisine place. Oh boy. We were surprised. From the pictures it looks nice but the service the environment and of course the food were amazing. I ordered the seafood Curry and my hubby the chicken tikka with some garlic naan bread. So so good. We will coming back and recommending.

Had a spectacular meal. Eddie's vision from Zaika has a fresh new spin here. Everything is better than the next. Let him recommend what to try. The wings are like crack.

The food was wonderful and the service was great! Mehak is located in an area that is easy to get to with parking available. The lunch special is very affordable, especially for everything that it comes with: soup, naan bread, rice, entree, and a glass of wine or beer. I'm excited to visit again.

Excellent restaurant! We enjoyed the best Indian food we've ever had in Colorado at Mehak. The food is delicious, the ambiance is upscale and super clean, and the service was great. Very friendly and professional people operate this place--they clearly take their food very seriously! Go!

Mehak is a solid addition to the Denver ethnic eateries and the Cherry Creek neighborhood. I checked it out for lunch a few days back and the menu had a ton of options that all sounded amazing. I ended up with the Tikka Masala because I couldn't pass on my traditional favorite, and it definitely did not disappoint! The restaurant had a good vibe to it, especially for being newly opened, and the bar had a couple local beers on tap. Also, the Naan Bread...AMAZING! Now I want to go back and check out a few other menu items...probably the Vindaloo next time.. Thanks Mehak!

I have been searching for legit delicious Indian food, saag paneer especially, since moving to Denver from London where Indian cuisine is a staple. I've been disappointed every where we go until now! The food was spectacular and the restaurant is beautiful with a lovely ambience. The service was not great, but not terrible either. Will most certainly be coming back here to test rest of the menu!

I went with my mom and niece recently, and we were immediately impressed with the ambiance. It has an elegance suitable for a special occasion or date, yet it is also comfortable, warm, & inviting. The staff are friendly & professional -- in fact, Eddie personally did everything he could to ensure we were delighted with our meal. Our family pride ourselves in being "Indian food connoisseurs" of sorts, having sought out Indian restaurants around the world in New Delhi, London, NYC...We are happy to have this new jewel so close by and are looking forward to sampling more delectable dishes. (On a more practical note, I also appreciate that gluten and dairy free items are clearly marked on the menu.)

Service was great, food excellent, and atmosphere is absolutely immaculate and beautiful. The lamb biryani was delicious. My only tip is if you like very hot food and are white, they won't take you seriously. I ordered mine hot hot, they second guessed me several times, despite heavy reassurance from myself and my friend... They didn't bring it out hot. It was definitely more medium heat. They were very kind when I asked about it, and they brought me some exceptional hot sauce chutney thing to help out with the heat. I'm honestly excited to come back. Everyone was so friendly and thoughtful, and the food is absolutely amazing!

We could not have had a better experience here. They were open on Christmas Day, and we were traveling and not in a place where we could easily cook. Service was excellent and so friendly. The food was delicious. Can’t recommend it more highly!

Loved the food! This is a great place to stop for a date night or casual. Food was fantastic, service was excellent, drinks were top tier, and I loved that they gave us our own space for our date night tonight. 5 stars, don’t miss this one.

Excellent Indian restaurant. We have done both dine in and carry out and have eaten here over 8-10 times total and have also dined here when they first opened. Mehak is our current favorite in the Denver area, specifically for North Indian food. Please note that if you have a toddler, they do NOT have high chairs, so plan accordingly. Despite this, there were multiple families with children eating at the restaurant. It is a very clean restaurant with courteous staff. Restrooms are pretty clean. It somehow feels like a more classy experience than the majority of its competitors. Cocktails are great- especially the Oak and Acid for bourbon lovers. They have a small beer selection but better than most Indian restaurants. Most appetizers are wonderful but some don’t carry well for take out (paneer pakora can get soggy). The gravy based dishes carry well, as one would expect. Although the main course serving sizes are smaller than most Indian (and American restaurants) they are appropriate (don’t expect leftovers if everyone is hungry). Saag paneer is excellent. Spice and salt levels are mostly consistent, but we have witnessed some variation. Dessert is tasty, nothing particularly special, but the presentation makes up for it. We will continue to eat here regularly and hope for some menu expansion in the near future. Also please get some high chairs!

Excellent food. Very much enjoyed the Naan, Vegetable Samosas, and the Chicken Tikka Masala, was very spicy so if you like spice it definitely meets that! Mango Lassi was very good, highly recommend!

Great experience. Brought my mom here for her birthday, had to come back for my friends birthday. Not crowded either. Great food. The rojan josh and the samosas was so good. My mom loved it despite being a picky eater

Very friendly owner and staff. The food is excellent. The samosas were great, but the momos (a dumpling served with a savory curry paste) were even better. We tried the Peshawar naan in addition to garlic naan. Both were very good, light, fluffy, and not too chewy or thick. It was difficult to pick a favorite between the lamb vindaloo and the chicken curry. Both were rich, fragrant curries with perfect flavor, served with proper basmati rice. They offer 5 levels of heat for each curry, ranging from mild, medium, medium-hot, hot, and India-hot. Medium had enough heat to tell it was there, but I think medium-hot or even hot would be manageable (I like spicy but not face-melting heat). Indian-hot might be an adventure, but I'll save it for a night when I don't have anything going on. The mango chutney was excellent as well, a solid choice for cooling the heat and it serves as a good counter to the rich curry. All of the servings were good-sized and very high quality, and every dish was flavorful. They also have a full bar with lots of premium liquor, several wine choices, and a small but solid beer list (the Avery Rascal went well with the food). The #4 cocktail is excellent, but the standout was the off-menu mango lassi rum cocktail the bartender invented, a pina colada-like creamy mango concoction. We njoyed our dinner, taking with the friendly staff, and the pleasant dining room (low lights, not-too-obtrusive Indian music, and nicely designed interior). We've since been back a couple more times and had almost all of the curries. Butter chicken is our guilty favorite, but all of them are great.

A hidden gem! We stumbled onto this restaurant when heading downtown for a show. My wife craving Indian cuisine looked up Indian restaurants near me and Mehak came up. We had never heard of it but being adventurous we popped in the address and away we went. Let me tell you, I am no expert on Indian cuisine but, this is by far the best Biryani I have ever come across. Fragrant, fresh and with the perfect amount of heat I could not get enough! The samosas were also on point, authenitically prepared rivaling those of my coworkers mothers (they are from India) and the plum sauce was delightful. My wife had masala and also could not have been happier. This is a bit of a drive for us (live in Castle Rock) but we will gladly be returning regularly to get our fix.

We were on our way to the Airport after a long vacation in Colorado and we were craving for some quality Indian food. The reservation was very smooth and we got the table in no time! We ordered Saag Paneer, Garlic Naan, Mango Lassi and Cheese naan. Main course comes with a bowl of rice. We really loved their food! Naans and Lassi were freshly prepared. Rice was also sauted in ghee! I tried Saag Paneer in many restaurants in New York and I have noticed that at other places they make a puree after blanching spinach leaves (with methi/fenugreek leaves). We really like this version. At Mahek, the chef kept spinach leaves and cut it into small pieces and prepared creamy version of this dish and garnished it with julienned ginger! I loved the taste and flavor as they kept the original aroma and taste of the spinach!! If you like Saag Paneer or not please try this dish at Mahek, you will fall in love! I highly recommend them! We will certainly visit them when we are back to Denver again.

Please don’t let the negative reviews on yelp detour you from trying this place. Since moving to Denver two years ago, I have desperately missed indian food, as it’s my favorite food and Denver had no decent places. This restaurant was highly recommended to me by a friend recently, so I went with some friends for dinner. Honest opinion- this is definitely the best indian food in Denver! We ordered veggie tikka masala (orange), veggie korma (the yellow), aloo gobhi (red) garlic and regular naan, and two apps. We all loved everything! Great ambiance for those that look for that. Also gluten free and dairy free friendly. Will definitely be my official indian spot from here on out!! So happy this place opened!

Good Indian spot for denver. The chicken curry and chicken kebab appetizer are our favorite. The first time we came here we didn’t enjoy it, found it too sweet, but looked at some reviews on DoorDash and found our two favorite dishes that we now repeat order. Will cautiously explore more of the menu.

Indian is my favorite cuisine, and this is hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had (and I’ve eaten a lot of it, in a lot of geographic locations!). The curries I’ve tried and the tandoori all have a rich, smoky flavor which adds to the already robust and well balanced spice profiles of their food. The atmosphere is also wonderful, and the staff are kind and responsive. Highly recommend!

I had my dinner at this place tonight and Santosh was taking care of us. He was affable, attentive and literally made us feel like as if it was our own country’s fine dining restaurant. Im myself into Service industry and the style of service was appropriate and accurate. Really enjoyed. Butter chicken was really good! And add to that I liked the table set up. In short great place to dine in.

Hands down, the Best Indian restaurant in the Denver area. Impeccable service and atmosphere, delicious vegetarian options, and convenient parking in the garage directly above the establishment. No blaring TV’s or music, and we didn’t feel rushed by our delightful server. Highly recommended!!

I enjoyed my first visit to Mehak tonight. The delicate fragrance made a fine first impression...I knew dinner would be good. Spiral-patterned, small plates in a golden color shined atop matte black dinner plates ...we dine with our eyes first...this modern design with soft lighting focused us on the table. Biren and Kris were kind, friendly, attentive servers...easily accommodating our party of six with separate checks. Unlike many Indian restaurants that have extensive menus, Mehak has fewer selections, but enough variety to accommodate meat or vegie preferences. I chose the chicken curry served on a very fragrant rice...tender, rich, a delicious pleasure! Everyone enjoyed their dinner! I ordered medium heat and it felt mild, but this was a minor detail to a wonderful meal in a relaxed atmosphere, made special by the joking with our servers! And I understand they are open late. Thank you, Mehak, for a special evening! Namaste!
