This place is amazing! Went here for the first time tonight for a girls night. Sister in law got the spicy chicken and I got the duck ramen, the pork buns were amazing as was the wagyu beef. The waitress was incredibly attentive as were all the people behind the counter cooking the food.
We had to leave early as we had a bit of an emergency (I hope the staff checks this as we left full drinks - it wasn't on you! You were all wonderful and so was the food!) But I would come back here in a heartbeat and I hope to do so soon when I can really enjoy the food and atmosphere!
Honestly some of the best food I've ever had, and this is coming from a guy who's eaten Ramen in New York and Chicago! Not only was the food amazing, and worth the wait; the service was WONDERFUL! Caitlin was awesome and gave my wife and I some really wonderful recommendations. We've never had edamame or quail before, and now my food world has been expanded. Both are addicting. We sucked the meat off that quail, and couldn't stop eating the edamame. The pork buns were out of this world! The ramen was incredible. Excellent job!!! Thank you for making our first night in Denver a memorable one!
Colorado wagyu is perfection, finishing off with the spicy chicken bowl. The food is only outclassed by the unique/amazing service of the staff. This place made my trip to Colorado, and I will look forward to future visits!
I'm still dreaming about our visit here. Absolutely the best ramen I've ever had ! I had the chicken ramen and now I just want it overnighted to Pennsylvania so I can eat it lol so good !!!!
Crowded little hipster kitchen it a little hipster hipster hood. There isn't a Starbucks around so it's all good.
No need to kill these hipsters Watsky.
Ramen will save this hood.

First time visitor...Excellent food, service and atmosphere! Staff was friendly and attentive. Would recommend to anyone looking for a delicious meal!
You’re food is awesome. Your service is awesome. My daughter found her Duck Ramen too spicy. We told the waiter. They had already closed down the kitchen. He fired it back up just to take care of us. Thank you Uncle.
Radicchio salad was a great combination of flavors. Duck ramen savory and delicious! Finding parking is a bear even on a weeknight but worth the trouble.
Best meal I’ve eaten in Colorado on my first three visits here thus far.
Every time we are in town we come to uncle for an amazing treat. Always worth the wait and top notch service.
Got the spicy chicken bowl and the pork belly buns. Probably the best meal I've ever had in my life.
It was an absolute great experience.. The best service I’ve had in years... spicy chicken was the best
I am never disappointed, and it is always worth the wait. Love the vibe, cocktails, and food. If you haven’t been here I don’t know what you’re waiting for.
Best Ramen I’ve had on this side of the Pacific Ocean!!! Long wait, but definitely worth it. For being such a busy establishment, I have not once felt rushed.
Very long wait. Decent food. The hanger steak with potatoes was one of the best things I’ve eaten in recent memory. I don’t like the fact that you have community tables. Lastly I don’t like how you cannot modify any dish whatsoever yet they ask if you have any food allergies. I highly recommend this place, and it’s very affordable.
I ate here a year ago and have been waiting to go back. I was not disappointed! The ramen is fantastic, service is efficient and I will definitely come back! If you get a chance, order the side of fried tofu, it’s delicious.
You need to stop by and eat at uncles! The best part of uncle ramen is the noodles and broth!!!! Amazing flavors! Got some vegetarian and spicy chicken as main ramen course. Serving sizes are huge! Appetizers are so so good too! Pork belly buns melts in your mouth! Staff are friendly and atmosphere is on point! Music choice in the restaurant is amazing! Took some photos!
Uncle is one of the OGs of Denver Ramen and deserves its place as one of the best. Spicy chicken ramen is pictured but I've had numerous great bowls from them. I think the menu has sprinklings of Americanize izakaya food and real japanese parts as well that make choosing your food fun and interesting. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful especially with drink recommendations off the great imported list of sake, shochu etc. My only complaint speaks to their success. Getting in can be difficult if you can't wait and the staff is often so busy its hard to grab them if you need something. I'm looking forward to another winter day when I can sit down with another one of their fantastic bowls.

Our go to place for Birthdays, Anniversaries, or anytime we crave Noodles! Any excuse to come down the Mountain for The BEST Ramen🍜, Uncle is the place!! We always try a couple of their small plates which always meet the taste buds with top notch ingredients. The pork belly buns are some of our families favorite but honestly they are ALL Delicious! The spicy chicken ramen is what we always get sometimes substituting the chicken for Duck😋. Their cocktails are always a must have! They have a rotating menu but some of the staples are always there! The Highlands location is the OG but seating can be tight so if that’s not your thing, the Lo Hi location is more spacious! Must try if you in the Denver Area!
Super chill spot. The crab bao buns were amazing. Very strong pesto taste, but it worked. The service was fast and affable. A very nice crew works here, and you can see that they take pride in their service.
I first had this in 2017. I remember how delicious it was and always wanted to go back. Fast forward to 2023 we drove and hour to get here from the springs. Well worth it as I could remember. My go to is the chicken ramen. I try new apps everytime and it’s outstanding. It’s warm, wholesome, fresh ingredients and can’t go wrong with whatever you pick. I highly recommend this place! 11/10 stars (: yum.
5 starts all around.
Uncle is incredible. The the quality and flavors of each dish is unmatched. Their Khao Soi ramen is delicious and every bite is loaded with rich flavor.
Their staff is extrémala friendly and inviting.
I recommend sitting at the bar and seeing the chefs do their magic.
They have good vegetarian options and their prices are reasonable.
The eggplant buns are tasty but I would have liked for the bun to be softer and for the sauce to be more unique, regardless it was still great.
I got the duck ramen and the pork buns. Both were really delicious. Definitely worth checking this place out!
Visiting from Atlanta. The food was Michelin star. The kitchen was so fluid and worked so naturally well together. It was great to sit at the bar and watch them. Everything was wonderful, thank you :)
Super good ramen, surprisingly filling too. Came pretty quick, and it’s cool you can sit at the bar and watch them make the food and chat with the staff.
I love a little ramen shop. This place really hit the spot on a chill rainy evening. Will definitely be back.
I had the duck ramen which was absolutely perfect. Tender duck leg and a super rich, delicious broth. Grab the spice bomb on the side if you want some extra heat!
Visited on a Saturday night and sat at the bar. Place was vibrant. I watched the guys creating the dishes, and it seems they have a well-oiled machine of efficiency. I started with a cocktail, the Pile Driver, which was heavenly! I ordered Spicy Chicken Raman with the spicy sauce on the side. Loved it! I was glad to just add a bit of the spice until I knew I could handle it. I loved it all!
Street parking was a little challenging. I had to loop around the block a few times and ended up two blocks away.
Overall, the food is good, the service is great and the staff is very kind. I had high hopes given Uncle’s reputation, and I found it to be subpar to my expectations. I got the khao soi and the flavor wasn’t quite there for me - I personally think it needed a bit more acid (more lime would’ve been great) and cilantro. An easy fix, but overall, worth a visit. Note that they include a 15% service charge on all bills!
The ramen here is so good! It was 7 o’clock on a Friday night so they were poppin! We snagged two seats at the bar which gives you an up close view of the kitchen and chefs working hard! The waitress recommended the fried eggplant bao buns and they were delicious but could totally skip and just have the ramen. The spicy chicken bowl, oh my! It was spicy and savory and just everything I wanted. Will definitely come back and order that again. We also ordered the chili beef bowl (which is hotter than the spicy chicken bowl, fyi) which tasted awesome too. Can’t wait to come back!
I ordered the tonkotsu ramen and the fried eggplant bun. I had previously ordered take-out from Uncle and it wasn’t as good. The fried eggplant bun was absolutely amazing. I had never eaten an eggplant bun and it was crispy on the outside with a strong taste of spicy mustard (I think and juicy ingredients inside - it was very tasty. The ramen was very good. First I tasted the broth and it was a rich flavorful broth and I could taste the fat from the pork and other deliciousness. It was not a heavy broth though I feel the ingredients paired well. I dont think the arugula (I think that’s the green salad in the picture) was relevant to this plate and I would’ve preferred some bamboo shoots or something else, or get rid of the arugula entirely. Ramen and salad have no place together. The chashu pieces were thick and juicy which surprised me because they were so big. The noodles were ok, I couldn’t tell if they were homemade or not but they did stick to the broth well but not the best noodles I’ve had, but very good!
This is the best ramen shop I’ve been to in Denver so far and I highly recommend this place! It is VERY good. The overall vibe is great and I really liked our server he did a great job.
I’m already craving it so I will definitely be back.
Ramen was just okay. Noodles had good chew to them, but I'm guessing the broth wasn't cooked very long as it was thin and not emulsified well and lacked depth of flavor. The pork belly topping was very tender and well cooked.
