Great service though a bit slow to get food after ordering. It's busy on game days. Food was very good overall. Burger was yummy and well seasoned but a bit dry, the crab cake sandwich was so big and very yummy, the grilled cheese was great, and the turkey sandwich was delicious on sourdough bread. It's a greasy spoon kind of place. Definitely more of a drink and eat kind of place, good drink prices and happy hour options. A bit pricey for just a big meal. I'd return if in the area - especially after a hike! Just be careful on weekends and game days - there will probably be a wait!

This place won me over on the first bite! The food and service was incredible! I highly recommend the Denali Jr, Kodiak, and Knick Blackberry Burgers. Honestly, keep coming back to try everything (that’s what I’ll be doing)! There could be a wait, but that’s because it’s PHENOMENAL. Definitely worth any wait.

This is the perfect place for a casual lunch and drink. Love the Alaskan theme! What I love most was how attentive everyone was! I had everything I needed and my glass was always full. We got the brussel sprouts with the agave sriracha and almost licked the plate clean! The sandwiches were big, toasted to perfection and delicious. The fries were amazing as well.

Located in a slightly run down strip mall as all great gems are, The 49th is one of, if not the greatest restaurant in this part of Lakewood and a frequent spot my family loves. It gets really really busy on weekends and tables are limited, so try to come in early (4-5 pm) if you don't want to wait in line. I tried their special Caprese burger and the elk meat was cooked perfectly medium rare, and so incredibly juicy. Perhaps this may be the burger to end all burgers. Also, get the mussels to start!!! You won't regret it!!

We're from our of town, we saw the good reviews and thought we'd try it. I must admit, when we pulled up to a stripmall, we almost turned around but I'm glad we didn't. The food was better than excellent. Our server (whom we didn't catch the name but had tattoos all over) was top notch and super nice. We had the Icy IPA and they were tasty. I had the Hangover burger and it was awesome. But the meatloaf was INSANE. You gotta get it.

First of all: dog-friendly back patio was very fun. It was a 90+ degree day and they still came out to help us with everything. Even had some good conversation; which I'm sure was not fun outside of the shade. It's a lot to ask of someone on a red-flag warning day. I would not have been upset if we were told no. But it gave our dogs a chance to get out of the car and us not have to eat at a drive-thru Food couldn't have been better. Blackberry Burger. Fish and Chips. Salmon Spread appetizer. Fish had a great smoky breading. Cod was dense and fluffy. Fries were EXACTLY how I like it. Tartar sauce was creamy with lemon zest. Home-made chips were addictive and very satisfying. I don't recommend getting the Salmon spread for a group- You will want it all for yourself. Unless you don't like flavor for some reason. End of the day; the Alaska theme hits close to home and I love it.

Love this Alaska themed restaurant. Such a cozy atmosphere with friendly service and comfort food. My grandson was excited to see shepherd's pie on the menu and loved his food. I had the special, which was cheesy chili relleno burger. It was fantastic. My son enjoyed the Cordova Chipotle glazed salmon. One of my favorite places to eat.

My favorite local spot to get high quality food with an Alaskan twist to it all. I’ve had everything on the menu at this point and still feel blown away each time!

The food here is very wonderful. They have a house soup every day, and it is awesome. The atmosphere is very laid back and inviting. This is a great place to relax with friends or family and enjoy good food and drinks. If they are a little busy they have a fun board with special item information and a place to write yourself into the queue. The specials add a little excitement to your visit.

So happy this place is in our neighborhood! The 49th has definitely captured the vibe of a great Alaskan bar and grill. We got the crab & artichoke dip which was hot, creamy, cheesy and pretty much exactly what you want. We also split the full Denali burger which was excellent, and quite large, but the surprise favorite were the fries 🤩. Crispy and well seasoned perfection. This is a great casual place to hang with friends. Heads up it is small and it’s 15 tables fill quickly.
