This is one of the best restaurants Denver! I love this place! The staff makes you feel like it is your restaurant. Great service, food, and ambiance. Full 5 stars.
We celebrated our 27th anniversary here on Friday night! The margaritas, guac and meals were awesome! Great to meet our waiter, Ben and at the end of the night the GM James came over and comped our meal in honor of our anniversary! We were stunned as something like that has never happened before. We've already told our story to several people and will definitely be back again soon! Thanks for all your hospitality!
Been going here for years. Always the best experience. Great food. Great drinks. Great service. A must go!
Amazing mexi-style breakfast. Their Camino hash with plantains is so crazy good that it made (me) a usually non-breakfast person seriously want to wake up early for Sat/Sun brunch. 5 stars all the way.
That queso = 🔥
el Camino is the most friendly, community driven places in the Highlands. The atmosphere is fun, the food is delicious and the service is top of line. 5 🌟 all the way!
This may just be the place. Taco Tuesday's are the best, cheap tacos and a great staff! Krissy the bartender absolutely kills it!
Great brunch. Great tequila. Great people. Highly recommend.
That mac and queso though--add chicken and habanero and make it a great day!!! :) oh, don't forget the salty coin style marg on the side <3

Happy hour drinks are strong and don’t skip the queso.
Place is so good!!! The happy hour specials are great and the service/atmosphere is very welcoming. One of the best spots in the highlands!
Great happy hour food and drink. Never had anything but stellar service. Mark and Drew are fantastic bartenders. I recommend the jalapeno marg, and my wife liked the strawberry one.
Adding to review as we just went yesterday.
We have checked out brunch, dinner, HH here. We always have a great experience. The trio is ALWAYS the best path no matter what meal you are eating. Salsa, guac, and queso are all solid. I had the breakfast burrito without beans, and it was very good. If you go to brunch, do the progressive mimosa plan. They raise the price by a buck each hour, so there is motivation to get up early on the weekend. Our server was Paige, and not only was she extremely friendly and efficient, but you could sense the team vibe when other co-workers brought us something or checked on us. During the summer, there is a farmer's market outside on 32nd, so that is now double motivation to go. Even if I thought the food wasn't mind-explode good, I would give this a place a 5 for service and atmosphere. Highly recommend and see you there.
So, I have already reviewed this place, but need to add to that review. I went for lunch yesterday. They have had a lunch special ($12) for tacos or quesadillas for a minute, but recently added a game changer in my opinion. They now have a third option (also $12). It is a lunch sandwich/wrap, and it is fantastic. The wrap is tasty with several protein options. It comes with fries and this ridiculously good garlic crema to dip them in. Throw in their standard four homemade hot sauces, great service by all employees, and solid selection of beers and cocktails, and they get five stars from me again. They do a built-in gratuity, but it is 20%...so therefore fair (I HATE the ones that are above that and assume people want to tip higher than that-give people the option). Pic of the sandwich is below. Definitely recommend and see you there.

The reason I space out my reviews is because I wait until I am behind and than just jam out like 15 reviews in a row with pics. We went to this place again today, but for brunch, and it had been a minute for brunch for us. Again, I was satisfied with everything that occurred and want to make sure you know about this. Our server was Emma. If you are lucky enough to get her tending for you, your day is already good. I go to places where the product elevates the game, but it is nice to have the bartender elevate your experience. Second, set your alarm. Where ELSE will you get $2 or $3 mimosas before noon? They do a progressive time clock mimosa clock and it is awesome, and you feel the energy after 11 ($2 before 11, $3 after). Food. I got you. The Camino Hash is amazing (and Emma said it was her favorite and you should always trust the person who has to eat there every day), and I added cheese to make it more unhealthy, but you be you. My wife got the cauliflower thing. She was happy with it, although am not any cauliflower expert. We got chips and salsa before, and it is legit. Salty, but not too salty. Hope that makes sense. We successfully fought off the queso itch, but feel free to succumb. We have had it for lunch before, and it is LEGIT...and not non-fat probably. There is NOT a wrong choice. Their hot sauce, as I have mentioned, is four house-made hot sauces, and I tell you to stick to the middle two. Spacious bar for lots of seating, and two perfectly spaced out TV's for sports (as long as it is on main TV). I definitely recommend and see you there. Final thing. Emma, THANK you. You made my day after my car got totaled on my birthday. Much love!
On taco Tuesday, they have $5 for tacos! It’s build your own and you have 5-6 different kinds to choose from. Tortilla are separate from pico, the protein, cheese, etc. Very nice bartender. Feels like a pub inside with giant bar, surrounded by a bunch of 4 tops, and darker inside feel. Try the 4 hot sauces they give too
So I was looking for the Best Taco's in Denver. Of course the first and only place I look to is Google. They had Great Reviews. They lived up to their ratings. I will say the tacos are incredible. They just changed the menu 2 weeks ago we were told. You can now order one of each. Previously you ordered one type and got 4 of the same on a plate. The average cost per taco 🌮 is $5. My wife got the chopped salad with Shrimp 🍤 which I had to try. Also very good. Service was very good as well. I highly recommend.
Get taco Tuesday here! We came at 8 PM, got right in and ate our hearts out and drank some really good margs. This place doesn’t overcomplicate things yet doesn’t overlook the important details of making a taco Tuesday worth the trip 🤌🏻🌮
Always a great meal! Love the salsa, guacamole and cheese trio. My favorite are the portobello mushroom fajitas. The spinach and mushroom enchiladas are on point. The homemade salsas level up the dining experience. I also like that tip is added into the price.
Chicken tacos and drinks were great. Fish tacos, not so much. Staff was very friendly.
They serve the BEST TACO I’ve ever had! We came here on a recommendation by a local business owner. We ordered margaritas, chips and salsa, brisket tacos, and carne asada tacos. The margarita is pretty typical, nothing I would go out of my way to have. However the tacos! The TACOS! WOW! I usually order Al pastor, but the boyfriend and I decided to try the carne asada and brisket. We ordered another order of the brisket tacos they were so good! Juicy and delicious. It is my absolute favorite taco! Taco Tuesday at El Camino here I come!
Had a great lunch stop here with a pretty big group and the place was awesome. The food and drinks were tasty (loved the mezcal cocktail) and the service was amazing! The cheesesteak burrito was super tasty and cheesy. Definitely recommend checking the place out :)
We had a wonderful happy hour experience at El Camino. The Margs were delicious. Nachos were some of the best the group has had. 10/10 would recommend, really great atmosphere and service at a good price. We will be back!
What a great find. This place has the best taco Tuesday deal. 5 tacos for $5. We went with chicken and chorizo. Also got the dip trio, all super delicious! We will back again for taco Tuesday soon
My takeout experience was exceptional. The food was prepared correctly and on time, with a friendly greet at the host stand. The care they took in packaging was very evident - this is important in days of increased takeout. The food was fresh, tasty, and warm. Good portion size and great salad. Will try more menu items on next visit.
2$ mimosas for brunch?! Heck yes. Wow. We only had the brunch food but everything was great and surprisingly not heavy. Even the breakfast burrito didnt feel as heavy as at other places! And also, 2$ mimosas!!!!
We stopped in for a late lunch. It was not crowded (which is understandable for the time of day) so we had about pick of seats. Immediately, I was struck by the artful and tasteful decorations and modern ambience. They don't even have their full bar on display. It is kind of refreshing. The service was good. There was a mix up with my tofu tacos and the staff didn't even quibble about instantly bringing me some shrimp tacos with no additional cost. The four different hot sauces were awesome and I have to recommend the grilled shrimp tacos. I will definitely come back here!!!
Amazing restaurant! I am vegan and my girlfriend and I had cauliflower tacos, black beans, and portobello fajitas, which were all great. The atmosphere is cool. We went on a Tuesday night and had to wait 20 minutes for a table. It's extremely loud and hard to hear conversation or the music. I love the place!
I got the lunch sandwich wrap which was a perfect sized handheld with equally spaced out ingredients served with fries. Make sure to ask for their new TOMATILLO KETCHUP!!! Holy bonkers was it good (I recommend mixing it with the garlic crema that comes with the dish). Not a massive portion but perfect for me and for those looking for a solid M-F lunch deal.
Everything was top notch. Location, service, food and atmosphere. The lunch special tacos were huge, could have shared. Had chicken, pork and beef and all were amazing. Incredibly flavorful. Margaritas were tasty with some unique options to choose from. Highly recommend
My new favorite spot! Happy hour on a Sunday...yessss!
