The food was excellent but our server Erica was amazing. She had a great personality and knew the menu well. She made great recommendations and made us feel very comfortable and welcome.
Absolutely amazing food for such a late night you definitely made our stand Colorado much better after we were rudely treated at the micro hotel!!! Thank you for showing us that everybody in Denver is rude and has no Hospitality you did the best we will definitely recommend and return
Friendly waitress and bartender. The wings were great the beer was cold. A variety of beer options and the bartender was very knowledgeable. I just had a bud light bit the couple next to me were trying different types. If ever in Denver again I would definitely go back

Wanted to stay near the hotel so decided to give it a try. The uber nachos w beef were huge and very good. Our picky daughter had the grilled chicken and gave it a thumbs up. I are her fries and they were very good. Our server was very attentive and helpful
I wasn't going to eat here because of the reviews. Took a chance and did. Great move, Matt was one of the best bartenders in the west! Chicken nachos were great!

SUPPORTING, Sporting News Grill. I think of myself as a..... Big Supporter of the Sporting News Grill and I am pretty sure you would become a fan yourself, if you visited.
I have tried several of their menu items, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. I have enjoyed them all, KUDOS to the Chef! The portion size is HUGE! I try something different each time I visit. I find their Meals are made with Fresh and Wholesome Ingredients. I always enjoy my stay at the hotel and appreciate the locational relationship they share with Denver International Airport. I am especially excited about their new Web Site. I found it "User-Friendly" and very informative. Menu Items, Maps and all the "personal" communication reflects the Family, Friendly Atmosphere. Too cool, give it a try!!!

We visited the Sporting News for the first time tonite and, it was surprisingly one of the best dining experiences we've had in CO. Here on a work trip that was extended into a vacation and on our return travel day, Denver is hit by a blizzard. Flights out cancelled twice, hotel reservation that we made because we had no other choice was bungled, and we ended up at the LaQuinta Airport hotel. Everything around us was shut down except the Sporting News. We decided to make the best of things and walk over. We waited 45 minutes to be seated and about as long for food (because everyone in the vicinity was eating there!) and we were politely informed of both. The waitress who helped us was just great and even comped our dessert because it was my husband's birthday! The manager came over during our meal to check on us and we started talking about our flight issue and the weather and he told us that they had been about 4x busier that usual that day and most of the staff had originally been scheduled off that day but came in anyway. One employee used his personal vehicle to pick up anyone who couldn't make it in their own vehicle. What a great example of teamwork. The food was quite good too as was the selection of beers. We will be back next time we're in Denver!
Very generous portions. Loved the seared tuna. Ribs are tasty.
Great Nachos!. Had the hugest plate of nachos ever. Chips were crispy. Jalepenos were hot! Everything else was very tasty. Everyone else with us had a good meal. Portions very large. I'd recommend this place! Its is near several airport hotels and a nice spot for travelers.
This place is awesome!! Although mainly filled with business men- I am a young gal stuck at an airport hotel for the night and decided to grab a brew here!! Not only do they have awesome beers in tap from local breweries, the staff is super!! The bartender, amber made sure to address me by name and was very attentive!! Music made ne smile and the food was great too!! A plus!!
LOVED IT!. Awesome food, amazing beers, and excellent service. Cant go wrong if you stop there breakfast, lunch or dinner. Their servers and bartenders were all super nice and for an added bonus... they have all Colorado brewed beers on tap.
Great loung and sports bar attached to Double Tree Hotel. Traveled from out-of-town. The food was amazing, and the service was even better. The manager and waitress sang Happy Birthday for my husband's birthday. The deserts were good, too. Ate too quickly before I could take a pic.
A bit of a mix out of sports and hotel bar. Quick and efficient service. Burger was ok, bun toasted a bit too much - almost black inside and dominating the flavor. Nice choice of regional craft beers. Prices normal.
Great location... happens to be inside my hotel, Double Tree Hilton. 15 minute free shuttle ride to/from the airport. Nice Flat screen TV. Everything inside and out of my room is very clean. Wait staff were friendly and attentive, good food and my personal favorite, non alcohol beer!
We went in later in the evening on 10/6/23 our waitress was Joann. She was the best waitress ever, the food was awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! My husband got a great laugh after Joann carded me.. I’m almost 67! She gave us a great reason why she is so careful! You are blessed to have such a great employee! Linda and Daryl
After a long day at DIA we went to eat and wanted a nice meal. The gentleman who greeted us was cheerful, helpful and very accommodating. We shared that we were supposed to be in Cancun celebrating our anniversary. Frontier airline changed our plan. The staff went above and beyond to make it special for us. Kind friendly service and excellent food. Thank you for making our day special!

Went to Tower T&G for lunch on a Saturday around noon. We were seated quickly at a table and our server was polite and attentive throughout our experience.
The food was good and I'm pleased we selected this restaurant out of several in the area. My burger was perfectly cooked as I requested it (which doesn't usually happen at other restaurants!)
The place was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Lots of TVs playing sports, natural lighting (our visit was during the day) and noise levels allowed for our conversations to take place.
Ordered to go while staying in the hotel here. I had the Cobb salad while my partner had the black n bleu burger. The salad was large and very good with bacon and grilled chicken, fresh avocado, tomatoes, red onion and nice bed of mixed greens. The burger was juicy on a brioche bun and had a good flavor. Took less than 20 minutes from ordering to picking it up from front desk, saving us from going out.
The food here was seriously so good! I ordered wings and wish I would have ordered double to take with me! Husband got the street tacos, kids got the chicken strips and pizza and every bite was gone before we left. Service was quick and waiter was great! We will definitely be back!

My kids and I were pleasantly surprised by this place. I was skeptical due to their low rating of 3.7 stars, but their food turned out being delicious. It was convenient since we stayed at the holiday day inn express across the street and we could easily walk there just walking through a parking lot. We ended up ordering what other reviewers said were good which were the bison burger, street tacos, and brownie a la mode. I would ask for extra sauce next time on the bison burger, but even a well done burger was juicy & flavorful. The street tacos was ordered by my 11 year old daughter who can’t handle spicy. If you can’t handle the spice, ask for the red onions and salsa on the side. My daughter however kept eating it while drinking water saying it was too good to stop eating it even though it was somewhat spicy. If your not a fan of pork carnitas, this dish is not for you. My daughter always gets pork carnitas from chipotle and she said the street tacos were better. I took a bite (I love spicy food), and I have to admit, it was a tad bit spicy but tolerable (was probably the red onions or salsa). And even though you are sooo full, you won’t be able to leave a single bite left of the brownie a la mode. My son said he was full and didn’t want it, but once he tried a bite, he finished it off. I am not a fan of brownies, but this was definitely yummy. Both my children said they would come back. Don’t over look this place because of their rating. We loved what we ordered.
Great place for drinks and a quick bit. A little on the pricier side and a limited menu, but it was good food. Our waitress was super fun and checked on us often. Not too busy for the day after Independence Day so it was an easy dinner before heading to the airport.

Pleasantly Surprised
I stopped into the Tower during a stay in Denver back in February earlier this year. I had an early flight the next day and had just driven into the airport area from business meetings in nearby Golden. I checked into my hotel and spent a couple of hours on my laptop finishing off work-related activities. A few hours later I was starving, so I Googled local places to eat, and since I wasn't in the mood for anything too expensive and didn't want to drive all the way into Denver on a snowy night during rush hour. I found the Tower Tap and Grill and it, for the most part, had positive reviews, and since it was still a little early, I knew it probably wouldn't be too busy.
The Tower is a typical sports bar with plenty of seating at the bar and with tables surrounding the bar. It was quiet even though it was starting to fill up with people mostly from the local hotels. The evening sports hadn't started yet so the crowd noise was average. My server came over and noticed I was struggling with the menu, and I told her that I didn't want anything out of a can or out of a box. She laughed and said, "give me a minute, let me see what I can do". She came back a few minutes later and offered to have the kitchen whip some chicken taco's for me. How could I say no? In the meantime, I ordered an Easy Street American Pale Wheat Ale from the bar.
The Chicken Tacos came out and they were very good, I could taste the background flavours and could taste that the chicken was fresh and grilled to perfection. Yes, the Tacos were very good, and I can see why Taco Night on Tuesdays is a popular night at the Tower. My server came back to my table and helped me through the menu again, and noted that I was looking for something on the lighter side. A few seconds went by and she suggested the Shrimp Scampi to me. I was a little curious as I have had heavy Shrimp Scampi in the past loaded with cream and butter and other fats, so I asked if she was sure it a 'light' dish. It turns out that is wasn't as heavy as I thought. The shrimp was not too buttery, yet plump and fresh, the kitchen staff made a wonderful light sauce for the pasta, and my pasta was cooked to a La Dente, and topped with freshly grated parmesan, which yes, I indulged in a little. I've added 3 pics for you to see for yourself.
It turns out that Tower Tap and Grill was a good choice, it was close to my hotel, the service was very good and the food was pretty good. If you're staying in the hotels on or near Tower Road, I would check out the Tower Tap and Grill for a cold beer and great grub!!

I got stranded in Denver when they canceled my flight. They were open just late enough for me to get there and eat. And even though I walked in 30 minutes before closing time, they were gracious and sat me and treated me well and let me eat while they cleaned up to get ready for the morning.
