My top favorite restaurant in all of Denver, Satchels is a very special place and a true Gem. The music on vinyl is amazing, food is delicious and the home like feeling in the atmosphere is unmatched you will not be disappointed. Make sure to order some appetizers before the entree! The menu is always rotating throughout the seasons; my current favorite is the Burrata and their staple Duck Fat Fries! Steak sandwich is incredible as well as the seared scallops and the Pork chop is cooked to perfection you can’t go wrong! Currently not drinking but their cocktail menu is top notch. I recommend a Manhattan or Old fashy! Thank you Satchel family for always providing a true mom and pop feeling every time and for making this a go to place I can share the experience with friends and family! Pro Tip: Snag a seat at the bar! Best spot in the house !

One of the best dinners we’ve had. We opted to sit at the bar as referenced in previous reviews and it was the best experience. Bartender was amazing and we met someone who frequents the restaurant who gave amazing recommendations. The watermelon cocktail was one of the best craft cocktails I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to go back

Honestly, all the food we had was fantastic! There were so many flavors that were layered together perfectly. Would eat it all again. Also, the mocktail was a very fun add to the meal!

Tiny, intimate space with limited menu. An old school, neighborhood vibe paired with exceptional cuisine, I’d opt for vino instead of cocktails as my mezcal margarita was less than on point. Cute vibe, beautiful flavors, perfect for an intimate date. I’d opt for the bar vs the tiny chairs at the table.

Local: yes Worth it: hell yes This hole in the wall took my taste buds on vacation, man. Food was great, servers were great, I’d come back for breakfast if they served it. Do yourself a favor and order more fries, you deserve it.

What a perfect neighborhood spot! The vibes are perfect here and the food was delicious! We had the. Burger and fried chicken, bother were the best flavors that elevated traditional dishes. We can't wait to go back.

What a great little spot! We got to sit outside as the sun was setting. Great cocktails and generous wine by the glass selection. Get the Gem or Cantelope salad. The burger is outstanding! One of the best I’ve had. My friend got the steak and loved it too.

Satchel’s is a neighborhood gem! The presentation of their dishes is cosmopolitan without losing the authenticity of their flavors; every plate is just like grandma would make, if grandma was a Michelin star chef. The staff will make you feel like family, and your only worry will be deciding what to have for dessert.

Went for date night because my husband was in the mood for a burger and a reviewer that said the burger here was "to die for" & I'm glad I listened to that reviewer. We tried this season's burger which is a take on a caprese salad - a delicious burger patty topped with a generous slice of fresh mozzarella, pesto aioli and the classic slice of tomato. The burger and side of duck fat fries were scrumptious and we both ate every crumb on our plates. With the quality of meat, generous portion of mozzarella on the burger, and side of DFF's, the $22 pricetag felt reasonable for a high end bistro burger. We had room for dessert and ordered beignets. They were crispy, light and delicious, but I would have liked more jam sauce. We will definitely be back to try next season's burger.

This is just about the friendliest place I’ve been too… many hellos & howareyou’s from my fellow patrons. I immediately felt at home. Hard to spot on East 6th … but so worth it… just about the best burger ever … see my pic …stop in next time and have a seat

We were at Satchels on 6th on Saturday night, and to our surprise and delight it was customer appreciation night! This meant a free entire menu (pictured here) served family style while we paid for the drinks). The smoked chicken (smoked right out the front in their own smoker) was out of this world, as were the vegetarian options of smoked brussels sprouts, crispy fries and farm-to table green pea risotto. The beignets were worthy of a trip to New Orleans, but what surprised us most was the kindness and delight of how they presented this generous gift of Thanksgiving in May. We will be going back again and again. And did we forget to mention the butter smoked popcorn? Are you kidding me!!!! Thank you Satchels for reminding us of what it means to be a restaurant doing what it's supposed to do -- feeding people with a feast of delicious food with kindness and love.

Love Satchel's 💗 I came here for my birthday, and it was an amazing experience. The food is absolutely impeccable. The drinks are delicious and imo delitefully pop culture inspired. The Cobra Kai is well balance and fun to drink. The NY strip was perfectly cooked and the accompanying mushrooms were just too good for words-- they were perfectly carmelized and bursting with flavor. Exactly what I needed for this pandemic funk. Hope to keep seeing you guys for years to come! Thank you for the wonderful experience in this unprecedented time. I felt safe and taken care of. :)

Such a great neighborhood place! The craft and care are evident everywhere here. Food is thoughtful and well-sourced. No tough tomatoes or pithy peaches here! Bravo!

Good food and alcohol. The place hops with a 30 to 40 crowd. Only down side is that it is noisy and crowded but that just shows how popular it is . They still serve duckfat fries. Yummy. A place to go for a great experience.
